Michael Jackson This Is It. Love & Heal the World.

Thanks to Sony Pictures Malaysia. I just came back from the premiere of Michael Jackson This Is It in Malaysia.

Well what can i say…

Sigh.

Before his death, people were questioning about his ability to shine again, staying away from the performing stage for almost a decade, his vocals and dance moves were part of the doubts people had.

With much editing and compilations from hundreds of hours of video footage taken during the various rehearsals before the 50 Concert Tour that was suppose to happen, this very documentary showing the last days of Michael Jackson came out pretty awesome i must say. In fact, his vocals, his dance moves, the charm and the energy he showed was more than convincing that i couldn’t believe that he was 50 years old.

The King of Pop, a brilliant entertainer, with the various titles given to him, i thought that it was not enough to describe how he really was. This edited version of the many footage taken clearly showed his passion and it was like he was at his top of the game and it was totally amazing.

Fans around the world can look forward to see what is it like and how would it be if THIS IS IT concert were to happen which of course won’t happen forever anymore. The dance moves, the thumping, the choreography were remained the same where it goes through different visual and musical. Thriller & They Don’t Care About Us were some of it.

It was a great compilation resulting in this documentary of the final days. Segments were clearly showed in detail where Michael Jackson works around the team demanding perfection from everyone but yet in a soft, humble manner.

THIS IS IT was a project that matters a lot for Michael Jackson and he was trying his best to show the world, to influence more people and spread the positivity with a very strong value in it.

LOVE was the message sent out.

Definitely worth watching!! My rating? This whole compilation is already beyond rating. You can’t rate something like this.

For those who’ll be watching this perhaps in a few more hours time till they stopped screening this, you’ll definitely love it! If you missed this on cinema, GO BUY THE DVD!

THIS IS IT. THE COMEBACK THAT NEVER CAME.

You Are Not Alone

Its been months since the news of his death emerged and shocked the world. I must say that people around the world, be it hardcore fans or just a normal passerby were practically moved by his death. Somehow you couldn’t ignore about the whole incident that happened in such a shocking manner being reported on mainstream media repeatingly and this is probably the first time the internet was crippled by a single person alone, various news sites/blogs and such was down at one point where hardcore fans were constantly inquiring more about the news.

This one special person is Michael Jackson himself, the one that is irreplaceable and to me he is much more than a singer/entertainer/performer. To me, his role in this world is far more than just performing songs that will make it to the top of the charts. He did his magic and did what he can to make a change, influencing and inspiring people from all walks of life regardless of their race. People around the world have been acting in response of his death and one of the most talked about aftermath event is the various flashmobs held in various cities simultaneously.

Everyone knows that Michael Jackson have been working hard on this major comeback which should see him performing at his very best in a scheduled tour with a total of 50 concerts but that won’t happen anymore. We also came to know that the concert organizers have 100 hours worth of rehearsal footage which where Sony Pictures bought over the rights of the footages to make a film out of it.

This very movie – Michael Jackson This Is It which shows the scenes behind the concerts that was supposed to happen, the final days of Michael Jackson rehearsing with his very best will be hitting cinemas worldwide simultaneously where the first screening day in Malaysia will be 29th October 2009.

When the news of this movie came across, hardcore fans all around the world have been trying their very best to get their tickets and even in Malaysia which is just a small part of the whole world, 20,000 tickets were snapped to date already.

All thanks to Sony Pictures Malaysia, 3 readers of this humble blog of mine will be getting a pair of tickets each to attend the Malaysian premiere screening of Michael Jackson This Is It which is happening on the 28th of October 2009.
