Najib Buka Puasa

Do you guys know about this? Are you all Malaysians aware of this?

I mean like hey Google is threatening our national security. We should ISA everyone in Google okay, TM should ban and filter anything that is related to Google, it’s humiliating. Our dear prime minister’s reputation is on stake now.

Do we still allow Google to mock us? Come on, bring up the 1 Malaysia spirit and boycott Google!!

WE should learn from China, the Chinese who don’t give a damn about Google!!

Oh wait we Chinese are pendatang…

Okay la cut the crap, all written above is crap and i’m a crappy person so yah oh back to this thing, it was actually brought up earlier today as i saw it on twitter whichiforgotwho already and it was spread rapidly which eventually leads to a topic being created at LowYat.net as well. Nobody have a single clue on why Google Search Engine came up with that suggestion but one thing i’m sure of..

Our BELOVED Prime Minister is a human.  =X

Racist Remarks by School Principal from Johor – Hajah Siti Inshah Mansor

Police Report on Racist Remarks by Hajah Siti Inshah Mansor of Sekolah Menengah Kebangsaan Tunku Abdul Rahman Putra, Kulai

Education DG says Johor principal fiasco settled
By Asrul Hadi Abdullah Sani
August 18, 2010

KUALA LUMPUR, Aug 18 — Education director-general Tan Sri Alimuddin Mohd Dom said today it was just a misunderstanding — the allegedly offensive remarks by a Johor school principal — and the matter had been resolved.

Siti Inshah Mansor, the Sekolah Menengah Kebangsaan Tunku Abdul Rahman Putra principal, allegedly said that “Chinese students… can return to China,” and likened Indian prayer strings to dog leashes during school assembly.

Alimuddin denied that the principal has been transferred from the school.

“There is no change, the issue was only a misunderstanding and the problem has been solved between the principal and students,” he told The Malaysian Insider by SMS.

The police are currently investigating the case under Section 504 of the Penal Code for provocation which carries a maximum imprisonment of two years, a fine or both.

A total of 17 complaints have been lodged with the authorities.

Kulai Jaya deputy OCPD Deputy Supt Mohd Kamil Sukarmi told reporters that the police would be calling for the principal’s statement to be recorded today.

On Thursday, the principal had reportedly made the derogatory remarks during the launch of the school’s Merdeka celebrations.

“Chinese students are not needed here and can return to China or Foon Yew schools. For the Indian students, the prayer string tied around their neck and wrist makes them look like dogs because only dogs are tied like that,” Siti Inshah was quoted as saying in at least one police report.

State Education Department deputy director Markom Giran has also said that the principal was on leave pending disciplinary action.

The school administration confirmed with The Malaysian Insider that the principal has been leave since yesterday and is expected to be back by Monday.

Yesterday Lim Kit Siang called on the government to remove the principal and said that she should be severely punished for the offensive remarks allegedly made during a school assembly.

If you’re as restless as me reading the whole police report and the article on The Malaysian Insider, tell me what do you think? Apparently this piece of negative news came out like yesterday and is causing waves on a few social media platforms already and that’s how i get to know about it.

I don’t know what do you think about it and i really have not much comments about this whole issue since it’s not the first time such thing happen.

Instead, i am actually thinking it from another angle.

Let’s say that this is a plot of Optimus Prime to bring down The Bersatu Nation, then this Super Pet from the state of JustinBieber had an offer that is too hard to resist/reject to make such Roaring statements, so the Super Pet accepted the offer by the Optimus Prime and made the Roaring statements where Optimus Prime sits down and see how will the Bersatu Nation react on this. It’s just part of a strategy of a bigger picture before the next Erection Day comes.

I mean like, a school principal making such remarks during the launch of the school’s MERDEKA celebrations, she must have got lots of balls. What is the cause that triggered her making such remarks, if you’re a school principal, will you think twice before you talk or just talk how you want according to your way.

Of course, anything is possible, but looking at the way on how it happen, it’s a bit weird.

Okay, just ignore what i just said. Too much Prison Break for me in the past.

Anyways, if you don’t really care about the stuffs above, this picture is for you.

*Pssst i still love my country Malaysia and i still believe the good in the people around.
**Sigh.

Kuantan Trip & Ibrahim Cendol Air Putih

Spending time with your loved ones are always the best thing you can do in life. The girlfriend went back to hometown during the weekend and i followed her for a short 2 days 1 night trip to Kuantan.

The last time i’ve been to Kuantan was really years ago, so long that i couldn’t really remember what i did already. It sure feels weird hanging out with her family as i don’t see them all the time and communicate with them though me and he girlfriend have been together for quite long already.

Despite the unusual quietness in me where i observe more than i talk, i had quite a good time laughing and smiling at the conversations exchanged between the girlfriend and her parents.

then, one thing i find it funny is sitting on the passenger seat rather than the driver seat where the girlfriend drove me around in her hometown with her “awesome” driving skills!!

It was quite an experience, one of which i don’t go through normally Haha.

Anyways, just this afternoon, she brought me to this awesome Cendol stall with her younger sister. The Cendol which she promotes through out the year that i’ve not try before that is.

It was a relatively small corner shop lot with like what, 30 years of experience in serving Cendol to the people in Kuantan and it was as awesome as how my girlfriend have shared all these while!! RM1.50 for a bowl of Cendol as awesome as this is really too cheap to be true.

and i ended up finishing 2 bowls of it, one Cendol Campur and one Cendol Campur Pulut. Awesome stuffs i tell you!

Oh and i had the Pulut Ikan also, simple and nice. =D

Of course, at the end of the day, it’s probably the company which made this cendol experience extra sweet lol. Sometimes i laugh thinking back at how we first started and lasted thus long together.

Crazy man!!

OH and this is her dog! As in their family dog Ruffy Haha!!

Will post more on Melbourne in the next few days, mainly on food. xD

No tax rebate for ‘Ice Kacang Puppy Love’ 初恋红豆冰

Updated 24 August 2010
No tax rebate for ‘Ice Kacang Puppy Love’

LOCALLY-PRODUCED Chinese movie Ice Kacang Puppy Love, which was a box-office hit after raking in RM4mil, will not enjoy entertainment tax rebate as it has been classified as a foreign movie, China Press reported.

The movie, directed by Tan Kheng Seong or popularly known as Ah Niu who made his name in Taiwan with his pop songs, does not meet the criteria for a 20% rebate as less than 60% of the movie script was in Bahasa Malaysia.

The cast of the movie included other Malaysians who had made it big overseas like Lee Sinje, Victor Wang, Gary Chaw and Fish Leong.

The newspaper quoted Federation of Chinese Associations of Malaysia president Tan Sri Pheng Yin Huah as saying that the Treasury Department should waive the tax.

“This movie did not only receive impressive box office in Malaysia but also good reviews from Taiwan and other countries.

“The authorities should appreciate the movie rather than penalise it,” he said.

Ah Niu, who shot to fame in Taiwan with his hit song Look over here, girl across the street, directed and produced his maiden movie under his newly set up film production company Very Good Pictures.

The movie was based on his childhood in Penang, and Ah Niu played a secondary school student who was secretly in love with a school mate, played by Lee.

Wang, Chaw and Leong play the pair’s childhood friends.

If you know and understand Mandarin, watch this video below.

If not, let me tell you what was being said in the video above.

Ah Niu 阿牛 陈庆祥 is a MALAYSIAN singer/actor and recently became a director with his movie 初恋红豆冰 Ice Kacang Puppy Love. A local movie production featuring heritage sites from Penang talking about a simple love story with a whole cast of MALAYSIAN born artists.

From the video above, the host actually ask Ah Niu 阿牛 that did he managed to settle his debts which he replied NOT YET.

Alright, for your information, Ah Niu 阿牛 have spent all his savings on making this movie happening, he placed a lot of effort in it to fulfill his dreams of directing as well as sharing the background of where he grew up - PENANG, MALAYSIA and he had to even borrow money to get this movie up in the last stage of production. Thus resulting in him in debts.

Now, this LOCALLY made movie production 初恋红豆冰 Ice Kacang Puppy Love is categorized as A NON LOCAL MOVIE/FOREIGN MOVIE by Malaysian Government as what Ah Niu 阿牛 the director have said in the video above. Why? because the language used in the film is Mandarin.

Only local production films using “Bahasa Melayu” can be categorized as MALAYSIAN made films.

Thus with that reason, the Malaysian Government can get 20% profitfrom total gross as tax.

Eh since when we have such stupid government policy? Does the policy/rule really exist?

I mean like, if yes, then a MALAYSIAN working so hard to make a LOCAL MALAYSIAN FILM and even promoted a few places in PENANG, MALAYSIA end up having the film categorized as a NON-MALAYSIA FILM/OVERSEA FILM and have to “buta-buta” give 20% to the MALAYSIAN Government, Woots!!

How is it that our local movie industry is going to grow if that’s the case?

Do we plan to have our movies making it big with such policies?

No wonder nobody is really willing to go on with local movie productions that uses English/Mandarin/Tamil in it.
*No i’m not condemning the Malays, i’m against the stupid policy that’s all.

*shakes head*
