MAS Chinese New Year Dinner
Feb 6th

There’s a period i frequent Subang alot when my girl was still staying there then. Never did i know about this very eating place – Restoran Crocodile Farm Seafood Village.

and so it was a pre-CNY dinner by the peeps at Malaysia Airlines!!! Another “Lou Sang” session which is of course good for me where i preferred this year’s Pre CNY sessions a lot more compared to last year ones. Don’t ask why. =D

Fellowships plus a few mini games sessions after the dinner was fun but well the main point of the night was about this latest contest by Malaysia Airlines. A trip to Taiwan this time and an opportunity to appear on TV that is, i want to go to Taiwan all these years, perhaps i should try joining the contest huh?

Do log on to MASTraveller.com if you fancy a free trip to Taiwan!!
Cheers!!
Flymas.Mobi by Malaysia Airlines
Dec 9th

Last Friday, i attended this sneak preview session of FLYMAS.MOBI at Frames, Plaza TTDI. A session by Malaysia Airlines introducing their mobile booking system to the bloggers who were there.

Something new, i would say that this is the first airline company that does this here in Malaysia, having this simplified booking system to get people booking traveling tickets is somewhat an alternative way for people to fulfil their traveling desires be it domestically or overseas.

There was a short presentation on how it works with some key points here and there, i guessed its because that everyone was hungry, there weren’t much questions raised.

As for me, let me just share a part of this booking system of Flymas Mobi, by Malaysia Airlines. These are some of the boundaries using the system, with me copy pasting the details word by word.
Boundaries
-Can only Book MAS and MASwings flights(no code-share)
-Can only book point to point flights (eg: LHR-PEN not possible)
-Will find the lowest fare available in the requested class
-Within 30 days advance bookings only
-Only adults booking, no special request
-Mobile check-in for single passenger : one passenger = one mobile phone
-Paperless boarding for domestic flights + KUL – SIN + SIN – Domestic only
-Seat Map for Mobile Check In only for Blackberries, iPhone and Android phones.

Throughout the night, we were given Iphone3GS to have our hands on the system using the device and explore around the functions. Didn’t really book a flight ticket then but to me it was pretty neat.

The rest of the night was spent chatting and mingling among the people there with quite a number of familiar faces.

Its been quite some time since the last we were together in an occasion taking such a picture. <3
Anyways, with me not having a Blackberry/Android/Iphone, i don’t see myself doing such bookings in near future for travelling purposes, so if any of you out there who have start using flymas.mobi booking services, do share with me your experiences, perhaps the pros and cons you encountered then!
*the food there at Frames, Plaza TTDI were really good! *thumbs up*
