Beyonce I Am Pre-Concert Party At Zouk
Oct 16th
It was just hours ago that the pre-concert party ended at Zouk Club. An exclusive party just for the ones who bought their tickets to watch Beyonce live in Kuala Lumpur on the 25th of October, this whole party was mainly sponsored by Maxis Hotlink & Guess.

Typical Malaysian timing, the event was like more than 1 hour late. Thanks to Joe, i manage to see myself one of the very first dance flashmob in a night club in Malaysia assume. Do correct me if i’m wrong.

Anyways, i was dead bored with the delays and all, good thing there was free flow plus there were like 6 “Beyonce” walking around before the event officially starts.

The rest of the post, i’ll make it short and bring you to the main point okay?

There was this fashion show by Guess.

Performances by the 6 “Beyonce”.

A short introduction on the Flash Mob that is going to happen in Beyonce I Am’s concert itself.

Teaching the Celebrities on how to dance the steps that will be used in the Flashmob itself.
and here comes the awesome part of the night!! GO WATCH THE VIDEO BELOW!!! It’s Awesome!
DJ Goldfish was doing his thing putting a mix of songs and all of a sudden when he plays the specific remix of music that’s meant for the flashmob, a bunch of people came out and brought the whole atmosphere one level higher!

Well, for me, the awesome part didn’t end there itself, i got myself RM200 of voucher from Guess and it was totally unexpected!! The prizes that were given out during the night includes stuffs like backstage passes to Beyonce concert on the 25th of Oct 2009, concert tickets to watch Beyonce live in London and of course the Guess vouchers i mentioned above.

So yea, that’s about it. Go Join the flashmob!!
Hope you did enjoy the video above. =)
Red, Gold & Black! Can you Handle It?

Was at Bukit Kiara a few hours ago witnessing myself on the progress of the dance practices that’s ongoing for the dance flashmob that is going to happen very very soon.

Some of the core dancers in meeting.

Practice in Progress.
From what i see, everything went fine and i’m sure it will gonna be a blast when Beyonce perform in KL in 10 days time.
Well, the people who are organizing this flash mob wants 250 people who is willing to just shake a little bit here and there, show what you’ve got and have fun participating in this, so far there are around 150 slots taken with 100 spots still available.
So if you love the idea of a dance flash mob regardless of whether you’re a pro in dancing or not, do head over to Kompleks Sukan Bukit Kiara 3959 Jalan 1/70d, Kuala Lumpur, Bukit Kiara 60000 or if you’ve lots of questions marks all over your head, this is the number you can call - 012-2500608. Find Boojae and he’ll give you more info.
Meanwhile, some of the dancers were practicing earlier just now on a few other sets that they’re going to perform in a couple more hours.

200 People, 7 Monorail Trains. MERDEKA TRAIN PARTY!
Sep 1st
Its all about Malaysia. 3 main parties, one wicked idea and here comes a colorful day filled with sweats plus lots of walking. It was the Merdeka Train Party that i was talking about. On the 31st of August 2009, a bunch of 200+ future leaders of Malaysia gathered together and did something to show the world or at least the whole Malaysia that we can still be united achieving a same objective.

The plan was to fully or more specifically partially decorate the interior of a train with the props provided to celebrate this very significant date for us Malaysians. The independence day that is.

Soon enough, there were short briefing sessions where everyone gets a set of instructions. 7 teams in total where ZaidHD & NikiCheong leading the crews with 14 leaders leading every other people in the teams.

For me myself i was leading team 2 with Diyana, someone i knew back in the trip to Manchester early this year. All of the teams were given instructions to do some serious business in 7 monorail trains. Each trains with 2 compartments. One team One Train.
In no time, we transformed the interior of the train from this…
to this!!!

It was at Titiwangsa Monorail station that the train was fully decorated into what you won’t normally see daily. Though there were lots of Malaysians who got lost having no idea on what are they getting in the whole journey, many of them did smile, cheered and even sang with us!

We shouted Merdeka from time to time and sang Happy Birthday Song a couple of times. It was crazy but it is all these little things that unite us all together.

There were lots of people saying that there’s no more hope for Malaysia, pointing at the various negative headlines reported every single day by the mainstream media but from what i see, there’s still people having lots of faith in the future of Malaysia keeping the words Malaysia Boleh by their mouths.

Through out the different stops where passengers getting in and out the train, i observed that there were the elder ones who smiled happily looking at the decorations, some even playing with the balloons and such singing along with us shouting Merdeka. Young ones were clapping delightfully.

Quite an encouraging scene i must say being able to participate in this project. At least i am still on a more brighter side thinking more positively at the end of the day.

After everything, everyone gathered at Tun Sambanthan station to get a big group picture.

Singapore’s First Bloggers Flash Mob = PHAILED!
Jun 16th
Have you watch the video of the first bloggers flash mob in Singapore organized by Nuffnang Spore? If not watch it here. =X
Seriously speaking, i was pretty disappointed watching it. It was DUH. Epic Failure. Nuffnang Spore did a great job by getting the amount of bloggers to attend it, the problem is….
A total amount of what? 200 Bloggers attending it and there’s only 10 pillow warriors/silent dancers. Okay maybe there’re 15 of them and not 10. Gosh. EPIC FAILURE!!
THIS VIDEO BELOW IS WHAT I CALL A PILLOW FIGHT!!
and THIS VIDEO BELOW IS WHAT I CALL A FLASH MOB!!!
A flash mob is a large group of people who assemble suddenly in a public place, perform an unusual action for a brief time, then quickly disperse.
Alright maybe Malaysia failed in that also because Malaysians don’t disperse after the UNUSUAL ACT but at least we achieved 80% of the objective where many people participated in it which makes the whole thing look like its HAPPENING. NOT SAD.
and what happen in Singapore last Saturday was really SAD.
I actually asked my friends to join me in the KL Freeze last year and my friends were like errr, wan meh, paiseh lah, shy la and take it as such a dumb act making yourself a public joke. and i guess that’s what many of you Sporean bloggers thought as well.
But if MANY people participated in it, then the whole thing won’t be stupid, it will be HAPPENING and it will be spread around from words of mouth and you’ll be proud that you actually participated in it!!
Sorry if i’ve offended any of you Singaporean bloggers but seriously, if you would want to participate in a flash mob, then do it and BE IN IT.
Most of us bloggers are still in the “YOUTH/YOUNG” category and if you don’t participate in all these fun events and BE IN IT yourself at this age being crazy and all, then when will you do so? The world is getting crazier each day and everyone is full of stress, so by participating in such events once in a while won’t lower down your “Almighty” status okay?
Here is a short conversation between me and some anonymous blogger
anonymous blogger :
last year’s vpost party
joshuaongys :
yea
i heard about the vpost party hahaha
anonymous blogger :
so many great prizes for them to win
no1 wants to play
all diam diam sit
and watch only
joshuaongys :
DAMN SAD ALSO
anonymous blogger :
all malaysian bloggers play
*if i say that the blogger above is a sporean blogger what say you?
So please la Sporean bloggers, we’re young and when we’re young we have fun and do crazy things. TOGETHER with other people. Okay?
GOOD JOB to those pillow warriors/silent dancers, too bad its just the few of you peeps there, but still, GJ!
Okay i think i’ve just offended the whole group of Singaporean bloggers with this post. Gah.
*if you’re really really angry then just ignore what i say okay? because i’m just nobody, just one unimportant being in this world. =)
Oh and i’m a proud participant of KL FREEZE @ Pavilion Kuala Lumpur last year with around 1000 participants. =)
Peaze.
