Asia Chinese Girl Group iMe
Aug 5th
Have you heard about one of the latest Asian girl group with the group name iMe / i-Me?
If you’ve not then congratulations, you’re as OUTDATED as Joshua Ong the owner of this blog. Okay, maybe not that outdated. It’s a relatively new Asian girl group which consist of members from China, Korea and Thailand.
Before i say anything, watch this video below first.

Well here are some facts. iMe is a result of the collaboration between 3 media/music entertainment companies from 3 different countries – EE Media 天娱传媒(China), DOREMI MUSIC (Korea) and True Fantasia (Thailand)

5 girls – Li Yuan Xi 李媛希(China), Zara 那琳 (Thailand), Yizi 易易紫(China), Shim Hyun Kyung 沈泫京(Korean), Liu Mei Han 刘美含 (China) have been chosen among millions in Asia where they were sent to undergo professional dance and vocal trainings in the past 2 years to form this girl group iMe and they have just launched their first album [i Me -哎咿呀] recently.

I have no idea what is the 3 major companies from 3 countries up to and why they have made such a decision to collaborate together creating a group that could possibly sing/perform in 5 different languages (English, Chinese, Thai, Korean & Japanese), but one thing i know, which is these companies must have spend quite a lot of money in the process in creating this group iMe.
Whatever it is, after watching their very first music video, i must say that they are quite potential. Of course, with talent and having the potential doesn’t mean that you’ll gain instant success.
For your information the director of the music video is the same exact person who did various music videos for groups like 东方神起 Dong Bang Shin Ki and 少女时代 Girls Generation.
Weird stuffs do happen in the entertainment world and this specific group already have a strong backing by the companies but well, after a brief googling work, i find quite a lot of negative comments especially by the people in China itself. Of course, there’re people/fans backing this new group and supporting them as well.

Would love to see how far can these girls can go then. Lol! *skeptical*
ShareMTV WORLD STAGE 2010 with Bunkface, Wonder Girls, Tokio Hotel & Katy Perry
Aug 2nd
Edited 4.22PM 2 August 2010
Alda have pointed out the reasons on why there were delays in between the acts below in the comments thus having me striking off part of the contents in this blog post. Thumbs up to the bunch behind MTV World Stage 2010! =)
*Alda is a local musician who performed in a number of local concerts before.

Went to the 2010 MTV WORLD STAGE at Sunway Lagoon Surf Beach last Saturday to join an amount of 15,000 people rocking along with performers such as Bunkface, Wonder Girls, Tokio Hotel and Katy Perry.

It was quite an experience being under the rain on and off with like 1 hour delay in between each acts that had the concert ending around 1AM. Compared to last year, there were less acts this time and more time delayed in between different performers, the rain did visited MTV World Stage last year, but it didn’t happened during the whole concert where this time, it did.
Anyways, here’s what i think about the performances by different acts.

Bunkface
Having being in the limelight and got to fame in such a short span of time, i guess these local boys have been enjoying themselves with the attention given. With them starting the concert, i must say that Bunkface showed the world what Malaysia have and it definitely a good chance for them to shine internationally. Of course, if compared to the later acts, they still have a long way to go. =X

Wonder Girls
It is not easy to get a song out and launched successfully pushing the singers way up to the top of the world and the song Nobody works its magic out back in 2007 and up till now it’s still a hit worldwide. They first appeared in a cage, yes each of them in one cage and when the backdrop was unveiled, everyone screamed!

I guessed i’ve tasted the magic of Wonder Girls where they’ve completed an awesome performance during MTV World Stage with 3 different outfits presenting their talents in both vocals and dance moves.

Was actually quite excited when they performed “Nobody” with their full golden outfit up on stage and i guessed a lot of guys were screaming their hearts out that time. NO i didn’t do so, not because i don’t want to, but because i was recording a video of them. LOL!

Tokio Hotel
Missed the last time watching them performing when they were in Malaysia earlier this year and i am glad i didn’t miss them this time round. The German glam rock band took the stage
by storm with their awesomeness and seriously, i didn’t know they have that much fans here in Malaysia.

It was quite a scene seeing the crowd moving the the tunes and i was soon fast attracted to this band Tokio Hotel where they really rocked the crowd. Bill the singer of the band have quite a talented voice with him. The scene when Bill appeared on a Bike was definitely one of the highlight that night!

Katy Perry
Appearing up on a banana split, the sugar high Katy Perry showed us why is she a top American Superstar with her most energetic performance with quirky and funny movements/gestures. All white outfit playing a white electric guitar, i love

I wanna see your peacock, cock, cock
your peacock, cock, cock
your peacock, cock, cock
your peacock, cock, cock
Yes Katy Perry performed Peacock from her latest Album Teenage Dream and it was Wow!
Love it most when she performed Thinking of You playing the acoustic guitar. <3
Oh and i didn’t know that both her parents are Pastor. Woot. I’m happy =D

#worldstagemy 2010 = rain. wait. delays. technical problem.
by ramesstudiosI personally think that #worldstagemy is made for the TV recording n not really for the live experience n @MTV don’t really care abt chu….
by kruel74They just asked the crowd to ignore security and fill up the front. Haha Rumour is that they need a retake. #worldstagemy 3/4 empty d.

Thoughts & Complaints
Read the 3 tweets above? They are just the few out of many complaint tweets about MTV WORLD STAGE 2010.
Rain - Rain isn’t really that much of a problem because as fans, we’ll understand that the organizers can’t really control the weather.
Technical Problem/Stage Settings leads to Delay – So oh the rain caused the technical problem to happen but don’t these concert organizers or concert equipment companies have a backup plan in case of rain happening to ensure such problem doesn’t occur? It wasn’t a thunderstorm! Furthermore almost every break between the acts, the crowd were made to wait for 1 hour or more which means with 4 acts, there were approx. 3 hours wasted.
I understand that there’s a need to rearrange the stuffs on stage for each acts with probably different musical instruments, stage props and such, but i don’t think that will take this long.
Concert started around 6.30PM and ended at 1AM. Do the maths.
Encore of Wonder Girls – This is the funniest part, i don’t want to describe it in detail, just read the last tweet by NikiCheong above. That would explain it.
What do i think? – I seriously want to know how much does it cost for 3 hours of advertising to 15,000 of people. Well advertisements were repeated to a crowd of 15,000 during the delays in between acts. Sigh maybe its true that we are mistreated because this live concert isn’t made for live but for the viewing of a bigger audience on MTV Channel when it is scheduled to be broad-casted to more than 100 countries all over the world. Just a thought.
One extra thing i would like to point out is the sound system during the concert is really very very good. The sound quality were tuned and adjusted that we could clearly get the musical instruments/background music but yet still able to listen the main vocals from the performing acts.
MTV World Stage 2010 provides one of the best live concert sound system experience so far for me and not like i frequent concerts LOL but well in the past, some of the concerts which i’ve attended, there’ll surely be some issue with the sounds be it vocals covered by bass and background music or the backup singers voice can’t be heard which was suppose to sync along with the main singer/performer. Looking that there’s constant rain through out the concert, being able to get the best of of the vocals performance in a concert impressed me. This is one of the positives i experience during MTV World Stage. =)

Well… i’m not the organizers so i won’t know what really happened back stage that time, be it a technical problem or some other reason, I hope that the outcome of the recording would be awesome as this MTV World Stage happens in Malaysia. Would love to let the whole world know that Malaysian fans are an awesome bunch and we can all go crazy for good music.

At the end of the day we did get to enjoy good music and awesome showmanship from all the acts that performed in this MTV World Stage 2010 event. That sums up this post for MTV WORLD STAGE 2010 event. Hope that there’ll be a better one next year!

The not-so-mysterious Malaysian, Taek Jho Low
Jul 29th

They reported that with his current lifestyle, he is spending millions on apartment rentals as well as splurging out on Champagne for well known celebrities.

They reported that he partied with Usher, Paris Hilton, Megan Fox, Jamie Foxx and Lindsay Lohan.
They reported that he flew Paris Hilton to France, South Africa and etc.

They reported that he’s dating Paris Hilton.
They’ve also reported that he’s a Malaysian.

One of the most read article on The Star Online today talks about this specific guy where he was interviewed by the local newspaper The Star.
Right place, right time, right people
Q: You did your A-Levels at Harrow. How important was that to you being who you are today?
A: There were a few key relationships which I started to develop there. Harrow had lots of children of prominent European, Asian and Middle Eastern families. That’s when I met the former King of Jordan’s son, among others.
That time was a very important time for me. That’s when I felt that I built the core foundation of contacts for the future. That’s quite important, because that’s when you know them as friends and you build the trust level for the future as opposed to meeting someone during the course of your business life.
After Harrow I went to Wharton and expanded my network. Throughout the course from 1998 to 2005, it turned out to be a key development period. I believe in hard work and persistence.
But admittedly, success is also attributable to being at the right place and right time and meeting the right people coupled with a trusting relationship.
Q: Tell us about your time in The Wynton Group.
A: I took a semester off when I was in Wharton to start an investment company called The Wynton Group. It had an initial capital of US$25mil (RM79.8mil) mainly provided by my family and close Middle Eastern and South-East Asian friends.
We started out with mainly portfolio investments around the world. Subsequently, we decided to move from just buying and selling public shares to private equity.
As of today, Wynton’s investments stand in excess of US$1bil. When I started the company I was still in university, I had a SOHO, home-office type concept. Subsequently, it was formalised and we had offices in Malaysia, Singapore and headquarters in British Virgin Island.
Q: What were the best stocks you invested in?
A: The funny thing is, when I was in university, I wrote a couple of articles for the Wharton journal. Some recommendations turned out well, some were terrible. Wharton educates you to look at a diverse portfolio. At the end of the day, it was about returns and diversification.
Q: In the Middle East, which countries do you spend the majority of your time?
A: I started with the relationships I built during the days I spent in London, particularly with good friends in Kuwait, Abu Dhabi and Saudi Arabia. I see a lot of opportunities for Malaysians, especially in the Middle East, just purely because there is so much liquidity and capital and vice versa from Middle East to Malaysia, which is where my interest is.
Ultimately, I am Malaysian. I am one who does not forget my country and I think there is a lot we can do for Malaysia. But when you build the trust of investors, you need to deliver what you promised.
Q: So who is this person that you know in Abu Dhabi?
A: I have a lot of close friends and close contacts in Abu Dhabi. In particular, I am very good friends with His Excellency Yousef Al Otaiba, who was formerly the director of international relations at the Crown Prince’s court and he is currently the ambassador for UAE to the US and Mexico. Yousef is the son of Dr Mana Al Otaiba who is the first oil minister for the UAE.
Q: He was someone you met at Harrow?
A: No, he was someone who was introduced by my friends. Of course, I am also close friends with several members of the Abu Dhabi royal family. It’s a very small circle of key movers and shakers in Abu Dhabi.
I think the great thing between Abu Dhabi and Malaysia is that they have really committed a lot to Malaysia and I think it is not only what we can see from the press, on the G-to-G (government-to-government) level but even at the private business levels. There is a lot of turst from them with respect to Malaysian companies operating there especially in the construction sector.
Q: What is your relationship with Hamad Al-Wazzan?
A: He is a friend of mine from the Wharton School and was several years my junior. He is from the Al-Wazzan family, a fairly prominent family in Kuwait. His uncle is quite important there and he is purely a friend of mine who spent a lot of time with our usual group of friends in New York, that probably led to the New York Post article, in which there is some points that need clarification. (Hamad is a successful investment banker and entreprenuer)
I spent a lot of time in New York and I have a lot of friends that studied at Wharton who subsequently ended up in Wall Street. In the course of raising funds for our new investments, we believed we should expand to the Middle East and look at some institutional investors in the US. So we spent a lot of time in New York. It’s true that were are all staying at the same apartment, called the Park Imperial. But no, I did not rent the Park Imperial, but I would say it was a very nice apartment. There were about 12 of us, so it was a fairly large place. I think it was about 5,000 sq ft.
Q: It was obviously rented. Who paid for it?
A: Neither me nor Hamad. It was another friend of ours who rented the apartment.
Q: Is it true that it was US$100,000 a month to rent?
A: I’m not sure although I can say that I contributed to the food budget.
Q: It was more like a schoolboy crash-together sort of thing?
A: Yes, it was 12 friends in one place and spending time together because we had not caught up in a long time.
Q: Were these all Wharton boys?
A: Some from Wharton, some from Harrow. It was a mixture. It was exaggerated somewhat in terms of the spending. During the time there, we enjoyed dinner in nice places and they all came from pretty wealthy families so they had spending power. And sometimes the Wall Street friends invited us for events. On that particular occasion when the New York Post ran the article, it was in reference to a party that was thrown for a friend’s engagement.
Q: How do you feel being in the spotlight when your friends have managed to somehow escape the spotlight?
A: That’s the interesting part. I think probably it was more to do with the public relations aspect of it because, as a Malaysian, I come from a fairly okay family but nowhere as close to the prominence and wealth levels of the people that I usually spend time with who also are my very good friends. So generally, I am usually the concierge service that arranges everything, and thus my name is all over the place.
Q: So you were the fall guy?
A: I wouldn’t say I was the fall guy. I am the person who called and made the reservations, the bookings and so on. Unless of course, we were invited by others, then the others made the arrangements.
Q: Was it because they were less well-organised and you more organised?
A: No, I think it was more because most of their families were my investors.
Q: So you were looking after your investors?
A: Yes. I go through the entire motion. I think a relationship with an investor is not just about managing their money well. Although it is not in my job scope, but if my friend says he wants a flight urgently to somewhere or he wants a dinner reservation at a well known place, I’ll do my best to make it happen.
Q: Was there a US$160,000 bill in Avenue (nightclub)?
A: I think factually there was a party being thrown for a friend’s engagement which I was told cost around US$160,000. Left to me, I would not spend that kind of money.
Q: So what about your birthday party in Las Vegas?
A: It was actually a group of my close friends; some of them were my investors who threw me this surprise party which I must say was memorable and phenomenal and I was very surprised by it. I guess that is what good friends are for. It was for my 28th birthday last November.
Q: Did you guys book almost the entire Caesar’s Palace for this?
A: No, it was a party they threw for me at the poolside of Caesar’s Palace.
Q: Did you send Cristal champagne to Lindsay Lohan?
A: I think there is a pattern of trying to paint me as this person who orders a lot of champagne excessively. But I think the fact is to realise that these are special instances where different events have been held and in many cases not organised by me. One point I want to clarify for certain is neither me nor my brother spent in excess of US$2mil in St Tropez. That is 100% factually not true, for sure. It was 40-50 of us friends who ordered some drinks and had a good relaxing night. For me, we all work very hard. Of course, we have a disadvantage where at our age, people may perceive it differently. At the end of the day, I run my investors’ money prudently. I generate returns for them. I am not an excessive person but I do have my breaks for relaxation with friends.
Q: So you are not this international man of mystery?
A: I guess I was known as the international man of mystery because nothing is known about me. And I hope after today, it addresses a lot of points.
Q: All this publicity, has it helped or hindered you?
A: A lot of people have talked to me about it and if it will affect my business because some of my investors are from Islamic countries. Firstly, an important key point is trust. If you don’t trust me, you won’t trust me to invest in me. Second, it is a gross exaggeration of facts. Third, with the amount media attention, although it has been very challenging on me, it is through this rising above from challenges that we learn to better ourselves, so I decided that it was an opportune time to come out and state the facts.
Q: Your father was quoted in Chinese newspapers as asking you to lie low. Did he?
A: I spoke to my father and I was actually informed that he did not talk to the press. I think maybe that was a casual conversation or misquote, I’m not sure. But I have spoken to my parents and of course they were quite concerned with all the publicity and how that may negatively impact us. As what I learnt in business school, in life if you don’t take challenges, you will never grow. I think it served an important experience for me in self-improvement.
Q: Lets talk about Paris Hilton. Are the two of you dating?
A: Rick and Kathy Hilton, Paris and Nikki’s parents, are a prominent real estate family based out of LA and I was introduced to the family by a good friend of mine. I have actually known the family for a while now. So that was how I know the children. The girls were on this trip with a whole list of other people, about 40-plus people. We had very prominent and successful friends from Russia, Kazakhstan and the Middle East too. We are all in the same group and we introduced ourselves to each other.
Q: During the World Cup in South Africa, did you have a corporate box at Johannesburg Soccer Citystadium?
A: First, there was some talk that I chartered a plane from London to South Africa. Just for clarification, I did not charter a plane but I was on a chartered flight with close to 20-30 people. What’s important to realise is half the time or most of the time, I’m with my investors or the children of my investors or together with a bunch of friends that have worked very hard to build their own entrepreneurial businesses or inherited from their parents. They have very good lifestyles and I guess, I’m fortunate in some ways because I get to enjoy their lifestyles but unfortunately I’m painted as the one that is leading an excessive kind of lifestyle.
Q: There is another story that you are not interested in Paris but in Nicky Hilton.
A: That’s factually not true. I actually know Nicky’s boyfriend. He is called David Katzenberg, the father is actually one of the founders of Dreamworks (Studios).
A millionaire before graduating
KUALA LUMPUR: Businessman and Malaysia’s most famous socialite Jho Low made his first million – in US dollars – when he was barely 20 years old when he took a semester off from The Wharton School of Business to set up an investment fund that is today worth in excess of US$1bil (RM3.19bil).
In his first-ever interview with the media, Low said he was in the right place at the right time and also that he had gone to the right schools – Harrow School in England and The Wharton School of Business, University of Pennsylvania, in the United States.
He tells of how at these schools he met and befriended Arab royalty, describing the relationship as being important since how they became friends at such a young age created a great amount of trust between them.
His private equity fund, called The Wyndon Group, started off with a capital of US$25mil (RM79.7mil) from his family and nine other investors made up of his schoolmates and their families. Low, 28, is the third and youngest child in the family of Datuk Larry Low, who founded the engineering company MWE.

> Group adviser to several international corporations involved in global private equity, M&A and buyouts
> Tomorrow: Jho Low talks about a new investment fund, his plans for Malaysia including making Hollywood movies here with good friend and Oscar winner Jamie Foxx.
After reading the so called “interview” by this dude, i must say that i’m pretty impressed with his achievements, well if what he said is true. Then again i wonder, how many of such people who were sent to schools and colleges mentioned above really did made good friendships and came out with such an awesome achievement. To manage his network amongst his “special” friends nicely and to get the best out of it. There’re so many spoilt rich kids out there nowadays and if this piece of story is true, then those rich kids should really look up to him, his parents must have been really proud of him doing so good in life.
Then again if this whole information from the interview between The Star and Jho Low is true, well shame on most of the mass media platform/publications because it tells us exactly how a whole span of stories could be made up based on just that few pictures.
Everyone have been blasting bloggers for blogging unconfirmed news and whatsoever but hey are the so called “media” out there telling the truth in their daily reports and news articles? It’s all the same actually, biasness will be there and there’ll be people defending different sides due to various reasons.
This whole Jho Low scandal, gossips and celebrity news have been around for almost a year already. LOL man.
Noticed that i said “if” and “true” quite often?
Seriously if you ask me, i won’t believe 100% on the information from the interview. I’ll just believe half of it and fill up the other half with the various scandals, there must be some truth in all these articles, just that some of it have been exaggerated.
Let me just assume this that Taek Jho Low have had enough of all these stupid publicity in the past 1 year that leads to these “advertorial” interview articles being published? Is it possible? =D
After all, he’s rich what!

Just an assumption and on top of that i’m here urging people to stop blasting bloggers and blogs because everyone is bias and nobody can be 100% sure of the real truth. Just get the positive out of everything and well…
If you Don’t like, Don’t read, That’s about it. =)
*oh if you wonder why i copied the entire article from The Star, that’s because in case The Star decide to remove it that is. It happens all the time, on news site. Reason? Unknown but i know it happens…

Yes, Malaysia will be in the list of concert venues in the Jay Chou’s The Era World Tour Concert [周杰伦超时代世界巡回演唱会].
It’s still a long way to go but we’re releasing the news now because we’re THAT excited! Bearing in mind that the Singapore leg of the concert for all three consecutive shows sold out within 2 hours, would you get tickets this far ahead of the concert?
Source : Jay Chou, Live in KL, 5th March 2011
The news was published on MSN Malaysia a few days earlier and yes i know i’m lagging but finally it’s confirmed!
Well of course it won’t be as awesome as the one in Taiwan with some million dollar 3D effects going on but i guess it will be a great concert to attend. The tickets of Taipei concert were snapped up in 2 minutes where else the ones for the concert in Singapore were all sold out in 2 hours so now i wonder how fast will the tickets go off when the organizers started selling it out here in Malaysia.

Fans of MAYDAY 五月天 waving their Blue LED sticks the whole night!
It was a freaking awesome concert performance by MAYDAY 五月天 from Taiwan 台湾 just yesterday night at Bukit Jalil Putra Indoor Stadium. With a great concept behind the tour, the H-Shape staging and lighting effects further completed the 3 hours long singing, shouting, jumping and partying between the fans and MAYDAY 五月天.

Was there like 2 hours before the concert and there were a few hundreds of MAYDAY 五月天 fans lining up to get into the venue already. Heard there’s fans all the way from Taiwan who’ve waited at the entrance since 10AM. Hardcore!

Thanks to Shu Jian for the tickets, we bumped into Stella and Isabell before entering the stadium. =)

After the opening act by some local artists, Della Ding 丁噹 came out as guest Artist performing 我是一只小小鸟 and the theme song 我爱他 from the drama 下一站,幸福. Her powerful vocals definitely had me adoring her when she sang the chorus part of the song. I knew she was good in singing when i saw her on Taiwan entertainment programs as well as when i listened to her album, but experiencing live performance is always a different case.

When the 4 level high backdrop came down revealing the stage and MAYDAY 五月天 performing, the fans screamed louder than ever waving their Blue LED sticks and some even started jumping straight away.
The atmosphere was wonderful with 10 out of 10 adoring fans singing along every single song that was performed up on stage.
The members of MAYDAY 五月天, Ashin 阿信 (Lead Singer), Monster 怪獸 and Stone 石頭 (Guitarist), Masa 瑪莎 (Bassist), Guan You 冠佑 (Drummer) displayed their music talent rocking the stadium for 3 whole hours.

The level of atmosphere was brought to a whole new level with the fans all high and hyped up when the 3 level tall Transformer-like robot being revealed on the stage while MAYDAY 五月天 performed D.N.A. Pretty impressive stage set up by the organizing parties.

The concert showed a few video clips featuring a fight between Evil and Good. The videos included Transformer-like robots and the graphics was the same as Transformers movie itself. We were like in a concert+cinema altogether watching a concert in a movie/movie in a concert happening in front of us and it was the first time i’ve attended such a concert. Thumbs up!

With a positive message shared by MAYDAY 五月天 in this World Tour, i must admit that i was kinda moved and well, am happy that i could sing along through like 70% of the songs being performed. LOL

Ashin 阿信 of MAYDAY 五月天 is a great singer and i enjoyed the most when he sang 擁抱 with Della Ding 丁噹. The combination of 2 wonderful voice together, awesome!

Undeniable, MAYDAY 五月天 is one of the very few rare bands/group that made it this long in the Chinese Entertainment industry still surviving and through the 11 years flashback video being displayed on screen above the stage, i could somehow understand how they succeeded in capturing the hearts of millions of fans all over the fans in the past decade.

Apart from the talent they had, it was the positivity they had as well as well as the energy from this group that consist of 5 members. Am grateful for the tickets as i managed to witness such a great performance by one of the best current band/group from Taiwan 台湾.

Read from the news and found out about this where it happened after the concert – a guy proposed to his girlfriend. and of course, she agreed. Well done!! Source here

Seriously i think that sometimes the Chinese Entertainment world is a bit too much, full with Fake-Blablabla 翻版谁谁谁, Little-Blablabla 小谁谁谁 and etc.
*eg : For example there’s another girl who looked like Megan Fox then she’s being reported as MEGAN FOX Number 2.

These newcomers in the entertainment world, don’t they have their own unique points that could be quoted and not just being compare.
The Chinese paparazzi loves doing this all the time and they won’t possibly get bored about that. Every now and then, some certain Chinese Male Celebrity will be reported going out with some other normal girl who resembles a bit here and there of a certain female celebrity.

Then this normal girl might get famous overnight but then she’ll be in the shadow of the reported female celebrity.
I guessed that’s the way and tactic of some nobody in an attempt to get into the entertainment world then. Have to ride on someone else name to be famous. Apparently, some of these newcomers don’t mind so. Then the companies that handle them loves doing so.

Just one thing i find it funny, sometimes, these people who are being reported as looking alike with some certain person, they don’t really look that alike actually…
Does this girl in this blog post looks like Shu Qi

So well i guess it’s not a bad thing being compared with another person huh?
By the way i don’t think Mavis look like Shu Qi. Shu Qi 舒淇 is prettier hmm.
If got also just maybe 10% only. Maybe… i think…
ShareConcert Tickets on Taiwan Taipei Station of Jay Chou The Era World Tour 2010 Snapped up in 2 Minutes! – 周杰伦台北演唱会门票2分钟卖光!
Jun 1st
No Joke! Jay Chou The Era World Tour 2010 – 周杰伦2010超时代世界巡回演唱会 which consist of 40 venues, the concert tickets for the first 3 concerts of the tour at the first venue which is in Taipei, Taiwan were snapped up in 2 minutes time.

According to statistics, Jay Chou have been in the entertainment industry for 10 years already with 9 albums with a breaking amount of 27 Million in album sales.
All of us know how talented he’s in his music but never did i imagine this could happen.Just right after the concert organizers announced the start of the sales for the tickets for the Taipei stop in the tour, the tickets were all sold out in just merely 2 minutes. Can you like imagine that?
I guessed those hardcore fans of Jay Chou won’t regret on this then.

Because Jay Chou will always surprise his fans as how he did in his past concerts. In this upcoming concert that will happen in 10 days times, 2000 LED will be used for special effects and lightings and there’ll be this “360 Degrees 3 Dimension image” which comes with the Mapping special effect technology.

If i’m not mistaken, that’ll be the first time this technology will be used in a concert itself allowing spectators to view the 3D special effects from all angles. This technology alone costs 新台幣 40 Million TWD and the whole concert costs up to 新台幣 1 Billion TWD!!!
That’s just the Taipei, Taiwan stop out of 40 concerts in total in the tour.
Looking at the statistics alone made me go WOW already. I haven even talk about the various costumes that will be used as well as which song will be performed and how will it performed.
It’s insane!

By the way, Jay Chou 周杰伦 was named one of the top 100 Most Creative People in Business recently by American Magazine Fast Company making him the only Chinese Singer to be in the list. Undeniable! Source
