Gawd its Monday again and as usual, weekend seems to fly past just like that. Bah, can weekends be like 6 days with just 1 working day? LOL!!

Anyway, i had quite a good time over the weekend! Spending time with me myself and i finishing up this Taiwan drama Next Stop, Happiness (下一站，幸福) that is.

It has been quite some time since i last watch a full set of Taiwan series, yes quite some time already.

Not only Taiwan drama, i use to be a TVB drama addict back in college days but now i just find myself too lazy to “layan” all these stuffs already. One thing is because the storyline gets more and more boring, another thing is i really do not have time for it already.

Anyhow, i managed to get myself sitting still finishing this specific one!

This very Taiwan series Next Stop, Happiness (下一站，幸福) which actually came out like 1 year ago was totally the bomb for me for the past few months. Yes i’ve been watching it in the span of a few months where i can actually finish it in days!

In fact, I was touched watching it and there’s not much series that could make me feeling so. I’m delighted that there isn’t much exaggerated stuffs in this specific series like what most Taiwan Drama usually have – 偶像剧.

The last Taiwan Drama i loved watching is The Hospital (白色巨塔) and that was like, back in 2005!! I loved it because it was pretty meaningful and the cast in it were pretty good in portraying the characters, of course, the storyline itself was the main factor.

and this series Next Stop, Happiness (下一站，幸福) is the same for me. The total timeline for the story in this series is around 6-7 years with a few flashbacks that go way back 20 years ago. But the whole story was mainly surrounding around the 3 person above.

The series comes with the main theme of Love & Relationship with sub themes like friendships and family issues, single parent as well as the poverty in rural village areas and etc.

Basically the 3 characters above is one family but then the relationship in between them as well as with the other characters in the series, it was a bit complicated. Usual drama stuffs that is.

Well if i were to talk about it from episode 1-21 then it will be a freaking long blog post already so i recommend that you go and watch it yourself!

However, i would love to highlight out that this specific kid is really good in the series! He must be one of the best kid around and he could really act in the series. Damn good skills he have. Xiao Xiao Bin (小小彬) as 小樂.

Loved the starting of this drama till the very end of it.

Seriously, you should go watch it!
Very nice Taiwan Series, one of the best in recent years.

Watching 超級星光大道 is what i always do a few years back. The Taiwan singing competition is one of the most watched entertainment programme in Taiwan as well as in Asia with the massive Chinese audience and the show have brought up quite a few singers that made it into the scene.

Then again, if you have no idea who is 林育群 Lin Yu Chun at all, you’re probably living in your own world without reading the news or browsing the internet. Nicknamed “Little Fatty 小胖”, he gained overnight fame after his rendition of Whitney Houston’s I’ll Always Love You.

Being reported worldwide in various entertainment news site having hundreds of millions of viewers searching and watching his performance on YouTube made this guy an instant celebrity.

Before that, the 24 years old 林育群 Lin Yu Chun had a part time job in a Musical Instrument Shop in Taipei with only 3000 TWD and for your information he’s involved in Cyndi Wang 王心凌 Music Video 心电心 with a fee of 4000 TWD.

In recent report, Korean SBS TV Station offered to bring over this “Little Fatty” to perform and offered to pay 10 Million TWD for his accomodation/food with performance wage 1 Million TWD. Count the difference. 林育群 Lin Yu Chun have already made its way as the featured guest in Lopez Tonight as well as The Ellen DeGeneres Show in America.

Labeled as the Taiwan Susan Boyle, 林育群 Lin Yu Chun have made a big step in his life and is on his way to become an album recording artist/singer. Signing with Sony Music Taiwan indicate that he’s not just an ordinary boy who can sing, he’s more than that and though there’re quite a few doubts in him by some top Taiwan Entertainment figure, a lot of fans out there is hoping that he can make it far.
*Jay Chou 周杰伦 have expressed his interest in signing him under JVR Music before Sony Music sealed the deal.

Just like when Susan Boyle made the headlines in worldwide news media and broke records with her debut album selling 8 millions copies worldwide, can he be as successful as Susan Boyle, or at least in the Chinese Entertainment world? We’ll know very soon.

By the way, just last night he sang I Dreamed A Dream and performed with Kenny G (Saving All My Love For You) on 超級星光大道. Watch it out!

Alright here it is!! Malaysia’s first ever made for mobile sci-fi series. Sounds pretty cool eh? But hmmm, made for mobile? How many Malaysians out there have mobile phones that can view videos?

Anyways, i was at the launch of this very series yesterday night at Sheraton Hotel Kuala Lumpur thanks to Esther Teo of FH Communications for the invitation

So yea, there were quite a lot of cameras flashing around with media people doing their job at the launch.

On the night itself, they showed us the very first episode of the series DIMENSIONS which is limited at 5 minutes per episode for each episode in the series. Here are some info about the series itself.

About DIMENSIONS.
Created exclusively for 3G and Online platforms – Dimensions is an interactive adventure filmed entirely on location in and around Kuala Lumpur. Fast-paced and intense, this 11-episode mobile series and sci-fi thriller reinvents the myths and legends of Malaysia, and lures audiences from the streets of KL into the 130 million year old rainforest that surrounds and dissects it, amongst ancient spirits of animist tales.

So yea that’s about it. I do not know what’s the purpose of this whole thing but it is something new and people always like new things, perhaps it would turn out into something bigger? Involving more stuffs maybe?

Of course we could speculate all kind of outcome, but only Astro/Maxis will know about it then and time will tell.

…like not so happy about it, the cast of the series are even more happy than them in the picture above Lolx. Okay la maybe they were too shock winning the Iphone itself. Right?

well, it’s obvious that Nigel‘s magic didn’t work that night, rubbing the lucky ticket number on him didn’t work at all. Maybe too much people did it that the luck were distributed evenly among us. Sob. Haha.

It was a good night and i haven had such a night in a long time already! Attending event meeting friends around and just exchanging words, it’s all awesome!!

Just came back from the launch of DIMENSIONS, a joint collaboration between Astro and Maxis.

I believe you’ll get more about it on mass media throughout Malaysia soon. I think its even on radio already. I’ll talk about it soon. So yea, quite a couple of friends was there!!

There were 2 Iphone 3GS to win during the event and both the 2 lucky person who went home happily with the phone is a blogger. Xiang and Dylan. With the lucky numbers 76 and 43 Gah!

Well, i hate the both of you!! Lol.

The night didn’t ended for me there and then. I headed to Sky Bar at Traders Hotel after that along with a few bloggers mentioned above, Chris, Jessica and Ren for Horeca ^ event. Something which i will talk about soon as well xD.

It was quite a fun time hanging out at Sky Bar with oh did i mention about the free flow of cocktails there? It was totally awesome!!!

Well, the good news is there’ll be more!! Stay tuned for more venues, time and dates on more free flow of cocktails coming up soon!! Hehe.

The night was good. Awesomely good! Thanks to Esther for the invitation on the earlier event and thanks to Suji for the one after that! I’m happy thanks to the both of you!

Here i am writing a blog post that’s related to the recruitment of an Official blogger for a TV reality television series.

From the requirements, i would say that i definitely fit in.

I can commit for a total of 4 months in Singapore, i’m fluent in both English and Chinese and i can blog more than 80 blog posts in the period given!

Let me just share what i’ve done thus far with my blog.

I’ve been fortunate enough to get invited to Media events which involves big companies such as Canon, Nokia, Hennessy, Coca-Cola and not forgetting; I was one of the affiliated blogger for Comic Fiesta 2008.

Besides that, i’ve also blogged about various events, from music events, dance events to clubbing ones, concerts. I truly enjoy blogging these stuffs as I get to give my readers not only my personal opinion but also a clearer picture of an event.

Sometimes, i will add some self compiled videos to make my post more appealing. Videos examples here MINT Magazine Launch, LG Malaysia Blog Launch, Tiger Stand Out Party & the recent Eason’s Moving on Stage 26 Concert.

Following a few reality series such as Malaysian Dream Girl 1 & 超级星光大道 of Taiwan and etc along the years blogging about it as an audience, being so, i believe i have a few valuable thoughts and insight to share with the people behind the scene.

Last but not least, i’ve made lot of friends through blogging where i love meeting people and i would love to work with the people behind the scene getting more experience.

I hope that I can take my blogging experience a step further and get this job as HPSpace’s official blogger as I’ll do my best!

Along the years i’ve follow lots of drama/series including the ones produced by the people at Hong Kong, Taiwan, Japan, Korea and US as well. There are different types of storyline with different time line and history background and such. Some i quit watching after a few episodes where some i’ll follow closely and i actually find myself really attracted to a certain type of drama/series. The ones that are related to basketball.

Other than One Tree Hill which have a span of a few seasons already which i felt lazy to follow from the start, i’ve watch a few basketball related drama/series which includes the ones shown above where 3 of them are from Taiwan and 1 from China. Lolx

Then, just yesterday, i found this new drama Buzzer Beat from Japan which is related to basketball as well. Immediately i added all the latest 5 episodes into my download list and finished it all today. I actually find this one very interesting with a much better storyline with not-so-fake basketball moves.
*all of the drama shown above have lots of scenes that look extremely fake and the storyline is just so so only.

Other than that, there’s a very complicated relationship among the characters in this drama. There’s this girl who’s an artistic person with an ambition being a violinist being in a relationship with the coach but secretly like one of the players. There’s this another girl who cheated on his boyfriend sleeping with another player in the same basketball team. Complicated No?

I enjoyed watching the series thus far with more episodes coming out each Monday, yes its not finish yet and i hope there will be more scenes of basketball games though some of the actors sucked in playing lolx but at least the way on how they film it is good and its not THAT fake.

and ah, one of the leading actress in this series, Keiko Kitagawa 北川景子 acted in an international film before!!

acting as Reiko in Tokyo Drift xD.

Well if you’re like me who’s interested in basketball related drama/series, do try out this one.

Since ages ago, there are lots of cooking television program that serves as guides to those viewers at home. One well known program which is similar in Malaysia is “Chef Wan” and thats many years back.

And along the years, these cooking program have evolved in some ways. Such programs, most of them that gets attention from a big range of viewers are the ones with competitions, dramas and there are different themes each episodes.

Of all these kind of entertainment/education television programs, i only followed one closely before. The one that was aired in Hong Kong that features different female artist each episodes where the few female artists will compete and come out with the best dish according to theme.

The lady iron chef (美女廚神) is the name and that whole series went on for only 2 seasons if i’m not mistaken. Of course, that show is more towards entertainment purpose where i watch because of the various Hong Kong artists featured.

and do you know one of the earliest “cooking drama” television show that have made a name can be traced back to 1993 and its from Japan. Iron Chef Japan is one of the most famous cooking show that have gathered a large amount of viewers and fans all over the world and America even adapted the series and came out with Iron Chef America.

Anyway, Asian Food Channel, the region’s only 24-hour food channel dedicated to airing the best food and lifestyle programming from around the region and around the world will be bringing Iron Chef in and airing it on AFC.

AFC will be featuring competition between some of the world’s greatest chefs as they compete against each other in the over-the-top Kitchen Stadium.

So, for the foodies around that some of them might be a die hard fan of Iron Chef, this should be a good news for them!

For the past few days, i have been catching up with the past few episodes of 超級星光大道 Season 4. Stopped for a while last time because i thought that it was NOT SO NICE already for God knows what reason till my friend told me it is still watchable.

On the other hand, i always have problem with songs that have shoutings and screamings.

and just last week episode of 超級星光大道S4, this contestant Ling Hong Ming (林鴻鳴) sang this song below and it blew me off and i can actually accept it…

今天看到了一篇报道, 内容是袁惟仁已离开了超级星光大道. 在星光4里二十强大改造那集前离开了.

这个报道让我傻了一下, 一时不知怎么反应. 张宇已经离开了, 现在轮到小胖…. 真不知要说什么. 星光3已没有那么精彩了, 在两位评审离开了以后, 我已经对这个节目有点失望了. 收看这节目的网友真的是很过分, 在网上批评这个批评那个, 批评指教也要有个界限嘛…….有些不会唱歌的也参进来投诉. 用下大脑吧!

With the coming back of Michael Scofield and his crime-in-partners early this month, i’m currently looking forward to the returning of another group of people.

Heroes Season 3

Peter Petrilli & Claire Bear with a whole bunch of world saving heroes. Of course, Sylar is one of the one i’m looking forward as well. Without him, the series wont be as interesting as it is since the start of this worldwide fame series a few years back.

Many discussions, speculations, thoughts, theories and etc have been exchanged all over the net. Just look at both pictures above. =)

Its been quite some time already. One Year. Of course, the official website posted news and information on the upcoming season, they even have novels, comics and magazine on the series itself, but i believe many people are in the same position as me. They want the episodes, they want the new season to come out SOON.
