IF you are from Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia but you weren’t there at The Gardens Mall yesterday at around 2PM then too bad for you!! You’ve missed witnessing around 400 Malaysians showing the “Loser” hand signs on their face with a big smile!!
I’m one of them. =X

It was quite a crazy start for a Saturday. Upon reaching The Gardens Mall Ballroom at around 11AM+ i already see near to a hundred people. These crazy people were there and they practiced again and again in small groups by themselves for the flash mob that is going to happen hours later.
What happened next?
The people were brought to Mid Valley Megamall where everyone of them thought that they’re going to do the dance in center court and there were tweets describing how excited they are to do a flash mob there.

The next thing you know, everyone ended up at The Gardens Mall and the flash mob dance happened there!

Well it was fun, though i didn’t dance but to witness it happen from the start till the end was just awesomely cool!

The rest of the story, go google up Glee Flash Mob Dance KL or stalk http://randomalphabets.com/
Oh by the way, the flash mob aftermath was followed by the people dancing one more time to the Glee Tunes where everyone gathered at the ground floor and it was totally random and NOT in the plan itself!!

Pictures of BBOY Choco Workshop
Jan 1st
Last month, i blogged about an upcoming workshop by one of the top Taiwanese BBOY which happened early last month.

I dropped by on the 6th of December 2008, the 2nd day during the workshop in Kepong.

Pretty inspiring and from the way he describe on how Taiwan BBOY practise, it made me go Wow.

With his current age which is 28 years old (if i’m not mistaken) and still actively involved in what he’s passionate about, i’m pretty impressed.
Well, for a bit more information about him, you can read on some minor information + videos i blogged before in a previous post here.
For the rest of the post, i’ll just let the pictures entertain you alright?

UGDN : New Street Dance Academy in Taipan
Oct 6th
Last Friday, i was in this place @ Taipan. One of the branches of Urban Groove Street Dance Academy. A new one actually, just a few months old.

Urban Groove Dance Network
No sadly i do not know how to dance and do not have any knowledge on hip hop/street dance. I was there as i fetched my mom, bro and sis there so i just hang out there.

Apparently, there was this Street Dance Festival where there’re a few classes offered in 3 days span(3-5 Oct 08) by a few instructors including Joel Tan the founder of UGDN as well as 3 instructors from Vibe Dance all the way from the Philipines.

One of the group that used to outshine any other people when they stepped their foot into some specific club that’s what i heard.

was in the past and after some really stormy days, things were not the same anymore. Like i’ve merely mentioned in my post on H-Factor before, i might or might not blog about that “drama” that happened that caused Urban Groove to shattered into pieces which made everything reverting back to square one for UGDN. =X
Anyway, thats not the main point of this post.
The main point is NOW, there’s a new branch operating in Taipan, Subang (same row as Station 1 Cafe in Taipan). For those who’re staying around that area and is interested in Street/HipHop Dance, you can enrol yourself to one of the class/workshop you’re interested in.

Most of the other branches were closed down due to the break out and now these are the only branches left including the new one in Taipan which is still operating.

Subang : No 7 2nd Floor USJ10/16 47620 Subang Jaya
