MAS Chinese New Year Dinner

There’s a period i frequent Subang alot when my girl was still staying there then. Never did i know about this very eating place – Restoran Crocodile Farm Seafood Village.

and so it was a pre-CNY dinner by the peeps at Malaysia Airlines!!! Another “Lou Sang” session which is of course good for me where i preferred this year’s Pre CNY sessions a lot more compared to last year ones. Don’t ask why. =D

Fellowships plus a few mini games sessions after the dinner was fun but well the main point of the night was about this latest contest by Malaysia Airlines. A trip to Taiwan this time and an opportunity to appear on TV that is, i want to go to Taiwan all these years, perhaps i should try joining the contest huh?

Do log on to MASTraveller.com if you fancy a free trip to Taiwan!!

Cheers!!

House Warming, Pre CNY and Lou Sang!

Just last Saturday, a bunch of us was at Mont Kiara for Ren’s house warming party, from like 5pm till 2am past midnight, we were there almost the whole day “connecting” with each other.

It all started by the pool with a few girls in bikinis where we had food and drinks.then we proceed 22 floors above heading to Ren’s new house which he shifted in just months ago.

His place was like so comfortable till we got our own spots almost immediately and stayed there as though as its our house, all don’t know how to “shame shame” wan!!

The Satay dinner session that was just right downstairs, out of the Condominium that Ren stay, it was sinfully delicious and very fattening as well HAHA.

Then we went back up again, at 22th floor, back in Ren’s comfort zone where we spent time watching Mask Rider, played games that involved liquor and cards and etc.

I shall leave the rest of the night for you to imagine, with pictures if you want to at the album here.

Oh and how can i miss the Lou Sang session!!! The very first time this year for me and it was pretty special then, its always nice having Lou Sang session with a group of good friends and uh, we “lou” till the whole table was full of the “Sang”!!! Ganas!

Hsu Jen, Sherry, Nigel, Kel Li, Ren, Yat, Steph K, Shu Jian, PPC, David Cheong, Chris Tock, Wen Pink, Jessica, Hikaru, See Yin, PinPin – In No Particular Order.

and so, this bunch of people where most of them i’ve just known like 2 years ago have been around me like forever already, sharing lots of craps together amongst us with laughter and such.

Would be more than happy if we could “Lou Sang” again next year!! Back at Ren’s place bah, this time with every one of us in the pool!! xD

Thanks yah for hosting us. Hahaha!!!

DGMB : CNY + VIP Treatment on BKT at Klang

I almost forgot about this post, had the pictures compiled in a folder but never did touch it till NOW, HAHA. Crap.

Anyway, this is about one of the many awesome stuffs that happened more than one month back during the Chinese New Year period.

the usual camwhoring sessions…

After some random and pretty last minute planning, a few of us DGMB-ians gathered together and had a house-visitation session from here to there, up and down within Klang Valley.

It was the 2nd of February 2009.

We started from Gombak around lunch time. Had a simple lunch there and…

proceeded to the house of the Nuffnang featured blogger March 2009.

Pam and Nadia.

Since Yatz have some hamsters over at his place, the girls got a bit excited and started playing around with the hamsters… Some of us started playing cards which involve money…

Pam snapping outta Yatz‘s place.

the peeps saying “Thank You Uncle” to ShuJian

Then we shifted to Kepong to continue our business with money on some card game introduced by Yatz himself. The session ended there with David winning RM50 bringing HsuJen leaving the group heading for some family lunch, EVIL!!

It was already 7PM then if i’m not mistaken and we headed straight to Klang for some awesome BKT session.

YES!!! AWESOME BAK KUT TEH SESSION!!

we sapu all habis nice nice…. and it was really very very nice!!! Haha. Our 2nd time there at the same BKT shop.

Just look at how happy Nadia was…

and how stim Yatz was….

But wait!! The best part was we were given VIP treatment there at the shop, they were kinda closing already and they waited for us to go there and had their yummylicious BKT.

and and and and and look!!!

THE

ONLY

TABLE

THERE!!!

xD

Thanks to Thomas who know the people there hahahaha…

After the dinner, we headed to Thomas‘s place with a very full stomach. So we just chilled and relaxed over there and decided to leave to Pam’s place after one hour.

Quite a number of stupid acts were done there and here’s 2 of the pictures taken…

I forgot what time we went back but it was pretty late already and we were quite tired after a whole long day. Of course, for me, i was happy spending one of the CNY days with them, a bunch of crazy people/bloggers.

A group picture… with some peeps missing =(

Till then, Enjoy your weekend!!

Chap Goh Mei @ SOULed OUT, Desa Sri Hartamas

Last Thursday, a few hours after my last paper, i headed to Sri Hartamas for an early Chap Goh Meiparty” that SOULed OUT organized.

It was an event with an entrance fee of RM60 for adult and RM48 for children. Foods were provided in buffet style.

To me, the varieties of food being served were just nice. From meat to vegetables and desserts, SOULed OUT displayed a series of Chinese food to the people there where everyone can really enjoy some of the very basic Chinese dishes which i think it’s pretty good. Nothing too fancy and it’s all back to basic. =)

Sometimes the most basic dishes are the most difficult ones to get food critics satisfy and SOULed OUT had us all some really Nice basic Chinese Dishes. =)

and Of course, its a Chap Goh Mei event, there’s a Lou Sang session before every other thing. It was the opening of the whole event.

The VIPs starting to Lou Sang.

The Event Details.

The place that was fully pack.

The Emcee. xD

People started grabing food and choosing the ones they love after they had their “Lou Sang” sessions at each different table!

Of course, paying RM60 just for the food and nothing else on a Chap Goh Mei event seems like a pretty waste and SOULed OUT took care of the entertainment part for that night. A group of Acrobatic performers that came all the way from China was performing quite a lot of acts entertaining the crowd and i must say that some were pretty impressive and er “painful“. Haha. Seriously, some acts they did like bending their whole body and then…… argh… i….. =X

but yea, it was pretty impressive.

Apart from that, there was this Lion Dance performance as well, the usual performance you get to see very much during the eventful period of Chinese New Year each year.

and its a funny scene to see when where the foreigner’s kids wanted to go and touch the lion heads, they make one step forward attempting to touch them and doubt a bit and back off and tried doing so again. Haha. Cute kids!!

Acrobatic & Lion Dance performance wasn’t the only thing installed for the people who attended the Chap Goh Mei dinner.

there were firecrackers followed by…

FIREWORKS!!

like LOTSA THEM!!

So actually, it’s worth it paying RM60 for the Acrobatic & Lion Dance performance, Firecrackers and Fireworks. =D

These are the people i attended the event with xD

Good job to the people at SOULed OUT!!

Happy Belated Chap Goh Mei!!

Chinese New Year 2009 RAWKS!!!

This year’s CNY RAWKS TO THE MAX!!! Woooohoooooooooo xD

Heeeeeeee!!!

Seriously i never had so much fun in a CNY for quite some time already. I can say that this year is the best in the past 5 years. Not to mention, i had Exams during CNY as well and that adds more to the “exciting” part of this year’s Chinese New Year. Haha.

Before CNY started officially, i was out with 3 lifeless people counting down to CNY in Cheras Macdonalds. A pretty good kickstart to an awesome CNY lolx.

Then, on the 1st day of CNY, i went out on visitation with my family. A somewhat yearly thing to do during Chinese New Year.

then, on the 2nd day of CNY, i was really happy as this is prolly the first time this happened. It was one of the day that i will remember in the years to come as it is a very very special day. She came back from hometown and had dinner at my house. Yes, that alone is pretty memorable for me already. and this very day played a very important part in making this year’s CNY special. Nuff Said. =D
The 3rd day was spent with some of the DGMB-ians @ Pavilion. As we don’t really get to see Sheon much often, so while he was in KL for the week, we had a meet up with him. Having our lunch at Nando’s and doing a few rounds of window shopping in Pavilion

and we ended up in Starbucks in the later afternoon of the day. Playing a few rounds of cards at Starbucks was pretty fun and it was a whole session with lotsa fun. Well being with these peeps is always fun! The others proceeded to Nigel‘s house while i went on to find my girl. Lolx

The later night was spent with Chee Hwa at a nearby Cyber Cafe. Gosh. It was really tiring….

Why it was tiring, because we played games at the CyberCafe the whole night where we will have our small little secondary school friends gathering. Didn’t really get much sleep and woke up all excited because we don’t really go out as often as last time already.

First stop was at YuetMun‘s house where as usual was spent doing nothing much except for talking and laughing here and there.

We didn’t stay long at her house as we were pretty hungry, so we headed to McD BSD for lunch and met up with ChinKent over there. Though there were less people compared to the previous years + we don’t really meet that often already, we still managed to make a lot of noise there.

Furthermore, there was this kid which was with his family sitting at a table outside of the McD entrance and for a couple of minutes, he entertained us making us laughing and people around us was already looking at us weirdly. Lolx

After the lunch, we headed to ChinKent‘s place where we were welcomed by his dog. A very very well trained dog who can climb wall! See one of the picture above as proof!! HAHA. As usual, ChinKent showed us what his dog can do and we still get amazed with it AGAIN eventhough we saw it before in the previous years. The girls was impress as usual and they played with the dog as well.

Rounds of Blackjack and Rami were played till it’s time to go to the next house.

Next, we headed to Melissa‘s house and we enjoyed looking at the photos we had back in secondary school last time. We were all so different from that time and we recalled back a few memories we had together. Gah, signs of becoming older already. Darn.

Yoke May‘s house was the last stop where we stayed there for quite long. Playing the same stuffs, Rami and BlackJack wasting our time waiting for dinner time to come. Had steamboat for dinner and it was a pretty full session. Buffet Steamboat. xD

The later night was spent chatting and talking and discussing with YokeMay & YuetMun about lots of lots of stuffs from East to West and Heaven to Earth. Yea not Hell.

It was a really really great fellowship!

The next night(Friday), i headed down to Sg Buloh to Steven‘s house and was shocked finding around 16 people there. 2 sides, one BlackJack session, one Mahjong session. It was a crazy night that where i witness some friends being like one of the Football Club’s manager, getting extremely happy(winning money) and extremely sad(losing lotsa money) multiple times within half an hour time. Played basketball the next morning!! Awesome. Haha.

then….

From CNY day 6 till 9 which is 31th Jan - 5th Feb, i didn’t really go out as i forced myself to stay at home to study for exams which is on the 3rd and 5th of Feb. This short period of time was really “exciting“. An Awesome time.

Straight after my last paper, i headed to Hartamas SOULed OUT for this CHAP GOH MEI celebration they had there with 5 other bloggers. The later night was spent with 6 guys in a Karaoke session. NO i’m not a gay wtf. Lolx

Slept till like 5PM Friday on 6th Feb 2009. Had dinner with my girl and sent her to the bus station as she’s heading back to her hometown and i spent the whole night playing NFS Undercover & Dota lmao. Played basketball after that without sleeping. T_T

Attended the birthday party of this cute little girl, Zoe with lots of other bloggers. Went to Cat Got Your Tongue 4 at Palate Palette later in the night. GAHAHAHAHAHAHA.

Finally got to sleep when i’m back from CGYT which was like erm…. VERY VERY LATE. =X

The next day was the best!! Had a visitation session with some of the DGMB-ians which include a few places like Gombak, Cheras, Kepong, Klang and Ara Damansara. A pretty crazy trip where we had Home Made Spaghetti for lunch, Klang Bak Kut Teh for dinner, had lotsa gambling sessions and the whole thing lasted from 2pm++ till 2am++. Lolx.

and i can’t believe it just happened like just now… Heeee!!! xD

The very last day of CNY is here already. Was out with 2 college mates ChinYen and YewJoe in the early hours just now spending time at a nearby mamak stall. The original plan was to have DimSum at Jln Ipoh but both the DimSum place was on holiday. Gah.

Amazing aite?

So you tell me, HOW CAN THIS YEAR’s CNY SUCKS? xD

SURE RAWKS TO THE MAX LA!!!!!!

Prolly the best CNY i had ever haha. Alright that’s too exaggerating lolx. Hehe. Well I do hope that many of you out there had an awesome CNY. =)

Oh and yea, i’ll be making a more detail post on SOULed OUT Chap Goh Mei, Zoe’s Birthday Party, Cat Got Your Tongue 4 as well as the DGMB CNY Visitation trip!!

Till then, HAPPY CHAP GOH MEI!!!

xD

Its Been a CRAZY week so far. CNY Rawks!!
