Chinese New Year 2009 RAWKS!!!

This year’s CNY RAWKS TO THE MAX!!! Woooohoooooooooo xD
Heeeeeeee!!!
Seriously i never had so much fun in a CNY for quite some time already. I can say that this year is the best in the past 5 years. Not to mention, i had Exams during CNY as well and that adds more to the “exciting” part of this year’s Chinese New Year. Haha.
Before CNY started officially, i was out with 3 lifeless people counting down to CNY in Cheras Macdonalds. A pretty good kickstart to an awesome CNY lolx.
Then, on the 1st day of CNY, i went out on visitation with my family. A somewhat yearly thing to do during Chinese New Year.
then, on the 2nd day of CNY, i was really happy as this is prolly the first time this happened. It was one of the day that i will remember in the years to come as it is a very very special day. She came back from hometown and had dinner at my house. Yes, that alone is pretty memorable for me already. and this very day played a very important part in making this year’s CNY special. Nuff Said. =D
The 3rd day was spent with some of the DGMB-ians @ Pavilion. As we don’t really get to see Sheon much often, so while he was in KL for the week, we had a meet up with him. Having our lunch at Nando’s and doing a few rounds of window shopping in Pavilion…
and we ended up in Starbucks in the later afternoon of the day. Playing a few rounds of cards at Starbucks was pretty fun and it was a whole session with lotsa fun. Well being with these peeps is always fun! The others proceeded to Nigel‘s house while i went on to find my girl. Lolx
The later night was spent with Chee Hwa at a nearby Cyber Cafe. Gosh. It was really tiring….
Why it was tiring, because we played games at the CyberCafe the whole night where we will have our small little secondary school friends gathering. Didn’t really get much sleep and woke up all excited because we don’t really go out as often as last time already.
First stop was at YuetMun‘s house where as usual was spent doing nothing much except for talking and laughing here and there.
We didn’t stay long at her house as we were pretty hungry, so we headed to McD BSD for lunch and met up with ChinKent over there. Though there were less people compared to the previous years + we don’t really meet that often already, we still managed to make a lot of noise there.
Furthermore, there was this kid which was with his family sitting at a table outside of the McD entrance and for a couple of minutes, he entertained us making us laughing and people around us was already looking at us weirdly. Lolx
After the lunch, we headed to ChinKent‘s place where we were welcomed by his dog. A very very well trained dog who can climb wall! See one of the picture above as proof!! HAHA. As usual, ChinKent showed us what his dog can do and we still get amazed with it AGAIN eventhough we saw it before in the previous years. The girls was impress as usual and they played with the dog as well.
Rounds of Blackjack and Rami were played till it’s time to go to the next house.
Next, we headed to Melissa‘s house and we enjoyed looking at the photos we had back in secondary school last time. We were all so different from that time and we recalled back a few memories we had together. Gah, signs of becoming older already. Darn.
Yoke May‘s house was the last stop where we stayed there for quite long. Playing the same stuffs, Rami and BlackJack wasting our time waiting for dinner time to come. Had steamboat for dinner and it was a pretty full session. Buffet Steamboat. xD
The later night was spent chatting and talking and discussing with YokeMay & YuetMun about lots of lots of stuffs from East to West and Heaven to Earth. Yea not Hell.
It was a really really great fellowship!
The next night(Friday), i headed down to Sg Buloh to Steven‘s house and was shocked finding around 16 people there. 2 sides, one BlackJack session, one Mahjong session. It was a crazy night that where i witness some friends being like one of the Football Club’s manager, getting extremely happy(winning money) and extremely sad(losing lotsa money) multiple times within half an hour time. Played basketball the next morning!! Awesome. Haha.
then….
From CNY day 6 till 9 which is 31th Jan - 5th Feb, i didn’t really go out as i forced myself to stay at home to study for exams which is on the 3rd and 5th of Feb. This short period of time was really “exciting“. An Awesome time.
Straight after my last paper, i headed to Hartamas SOULed OUT for this CHAP GOH MEI celebration they had there with 5 other bloggers. The later night was spent with 6 guys in a Karaoke session. NO i’m not a gay wtf. Lolx
Slept till like 5PM Friday on 6th Feb 2009. Had dinner with my girl and sent her to the bus station as she’s heading back to her hometown and i spent the whole night playing NFS Undercover & Dota lmao. Played basketball after that without sleeping. T_T
Attended the birthday party of this cute little girl, Zoe with lots of other bloggers. Went to Cat Got Your Tongue 4 at Palate Palette later in the night. GAHAHAHAHAHAHA.
Finally got to sleep when i’m back from CGYT which was like erm…. VERY VERY LATE. =X
The next day was the best!! Had a visitation session with some of the DGMB-ians which include a few places like Gombak, Cheras, Kepong, Klang and Ara Damansara. A pretty crazy trip where we had Home Made Spaghetti for lunch, Klang Bak Kut Teh for dinner, had lotsa gambling sessions and the whole thing lasted from 2pm++ till 2am++. Lolx.
and i can’t believe it just happened like just now… Heeee!!! xD
The very last day of CNY is here already. Was out with 2 college mates ChinYen and YewJoe in the early hours just now spending time at a nearby mamak stall. The original plan was to have DimSum at Jln Ipoh but both the DimSum place was on holiday. Gah.

So you tell me, HOW CAN THIS YEAR’s CNY SUCKS? xD

Prolly the best CNY i had ever haha. Alright that’s too exaggerating lolx. Hehe. Well I do hope that many of you out there had an awesome CNY. =)
Oh and yea, i’ll be making a more detail post on SOULed OUT Chap Goh Mei, Zoe’s Birthday Party, Cat Got Your Tongue 4 as well as the DGMB CNY Visitation trip!!

Chinese New Year is HERE!!!

Christmas of 2008 pass and i didn’t really get to feel it and New Year’s Eve came and left pretty fast, good thing there was a party and now, Chinese New Year is here. Everything was really fast. Lolx Damn Cow.
I will make sure that i enjoy this particular CNY!! ROARRRRR i mean MOOOOOO
So today is the 3oth where Chinese families have reunions and at the same time, today is a Sunday. So there was Sunday service and quite a lot of people showed up haha. I actually got my first AngPow today. From a church member. Haha. NICE!!!

Okay, continue from the Bing Bang Countdown…
we proceed in playing other games after the countdown session…
It was pass 1am where lots of us left the scene already leaving half of us playing a few rounds of taboo which in the end i have no idea which team won. Lolx. NO I WASN’T DRUNK!
One hour later more people left the scene leaving just a handful of us there. So we played some other stuffs which is just a bit more crazy.

by 4am everyone was already extremely tired.

Continue from the last part where we celebrated Aaron’s birthday….
and so, after celebrating the birthday of Mr Ho, everyone chilled here and there for a while…
some people were hunting for food from time to time as well.. haha..
the fun of the night was just going to start then…
with lots of laughter from one end till another end in the circle…
and some rather funny + nasty remarks hahaha
and so, everyone were gathered together in the middle of the hall sitting down on the floor in a circle and the MAN….
DILLON came out and started telling us how will this game be… =D

It was a pretty fun & amusing game from the start where everyone was pretty slow and have no idea what is going on where they will be terrorized by the people sitting beside them. Lolx
Sometimes, raising up your hands is not enough….
you need to be all excited shouting the keyword WAAHHHHHHH!!!
and not resulting in laughing out of nowhere all of a sudden…
it was a pretty awesome game session hahahahaha
Andrew was 1 of the people who had real lot of fun that night
and he witness stuffs like these happening in front of him…
and mae was a bit abnormal already after that….
there were other funny moments other than that hehehehe
like serious…. =D Chung Lern was awesome!!

too bad he was too tired halfway the game….
and the best part was?
the person who introduce the game himself kena “Kantoi” Best!! hahhaa

and so, in the first post of NYE + Aaron’s Bday Bash during the 31st of December 2008, i mentioned about Aaron’s 13 inch big black thing the 1st quarter of the party.
Yeaps and so we played the game. It was all fun but it didn’t last long lolx because we were gonna do something for the birthday boy.
The old usual thing you do during birthdays, the birthday song with claps and everyone smiling especially the birthday boy himself. Happily smiling all the way.
and of course, in such happy happy laugh laugh mood we’ll make the birthday boy do something and Thomas attempted to push the head down. Lolx but he failed miserably Muahahahahahahaha
The photo taking process never really stop since the party started and by the time everyone was singing the birthday song, it became more and more….. No the left picture was not taken on purpose where they were requested to take picture together like that, i just happen to notice them in that 2 position and i just snap. Lolx
So, we had a few group photo session.
After a lot of fun involved with a few of us disturbing the whole group photo taking session, we took some really proper pictures. Like class photo like that hahahaha.

Not long ago, i had lots of fun in this very party at Duta Vista. Some pretty nice & comfy place rented by Aaron where the whole party was planned by Thomas & Aaron. It was the last day of 2008. 31st of December 2008 which is ALSO the birthday of Aaron.
NYE Party + Aaron Birthday Bash!!
I shall not talk about the planning and other stuffs and waste any time already as i’ve wasted 1 whole week waiting for the pictures. *stares* lolx
So, let me go straight to that day itself aite? xD
Earlier that day, i was at Sunway with my girl and later in the evening, i headed to the party with David & HsuJen. We reached the venue around 7pm+ if i’m not mistaken.
There were a handful of people there already when we reached. Some were busy having their food like nobody’s business while some were busy socialising already. Most socialising with the people they know personally and not making new friends. o.O Every was shy that night wtf. Haha.
There aren’t any proper program or planning that will be happening that night, so everyone was really chilling and relaxing with each other on the very last evening/night of 2008, we were really spoilt with the selection of food provided there, not to mention the drinks as well. Oh and one thing, there were several house rules for everyone there but in my opinion, NO ONE REALLY READS THEM. Haha.
and yes, this picture above, a laptop and 2 speakers with a subwoofer below the table is the source of entertainment that night. There were songs played throughout the night. =)
After some biting and chewing, some of us decided to head to the “penguins place” @ Duta Vista. Yes, they have penguins there @ Duta Vista. REAL ONES LA OF COURSE!!

but well the penguin viewing session isn’t as interesting as it is because the whole place was dark and we cant really see the penguins. We even have to flash at the penguins to have a clearer view. Swt. Sad Case.

So, we got back to the room and got bored eventually just with food food and more food.
Thanks to Kelli, we started playing a game that involves cards, liquor, mixer and etc. Hee.
Its call the ring of Domo wtf. Its an edited version of erm dunowhat. PS. Its a game where you have to randomly select a card from the circle then with the different cards, there’re different instructions for the group where most of the punishment/instruction is to DRINK. I’m lazy to describe about it so skip that yea. =D
In short, a lot of people drank alot, but the ones that drink most liquor is Aaron & Kelli. There’s a percentage of liquor poured into the cup and of course a higher percentage of mixer as well. Both of them went red after the whole game and on the other hand, Chung Lern who drank not much got quite blur already in the middle of the game hahahaha.
and Nigel kept drinking eventhough he was not punish. xD
Everyone who played the game had fun together… Meanwhile, the others who did not join us on the table playing the game was entertaining themselves in other ways.
There are people playing NeedForSpeed.
Err, EATING AGAIN!! (actually they came a bit late so yea..)
and a few people conquering the kitchen turning the whole place upside down.
Alright i’m gonna end this post soon and leave the rest to the next few related post with more pictures and more stories. So for the 1st quarter of the party…
there were some drama haha….. and
i was happy to see a few faces that i’ve not seen in ages!!
i laughed and enjoyed alot being with the peeps heee…
