Barbeque Business

I rarely have blog posts that are way backdated. If that’s what happen, normally its because that blog post contains awesome stuffs or it involves awesome people where in this post, both are included!

Thanks to David the host and Nigel the planner…

At the 29th of August 2009, a bunch of us close friends had a small little Barbecue session. All the way at Klang, David’s place that is. We invited some friends who were close to us in the group and had this yummylicious BBQ/food session.

These bunch of awesome people above were the early birds on that day itself. Reaching like 4-5PM while the others reached around like 8PM. *laughs* Due to misscommunication that is.

Andrew was the MAN getting the fire up and running contributing a lot of sweats summoning the fire. At the same time, i and a few others who was the late ones were finding our way into the depths of Klang, some place that is totally unfamiliar to us.

Apart from the food and pictures taking that night, some of the peeps had fun playing some games which had all of them laughing their heads off contributing to the noise pollution around the neighborhood. I didn’t record any videos nor sound clip on that but i have pictures as evidence!

Well, pictures couldn’t really tell how awesome it was then. The food were exceptionally delicious especially this one in the picture above i must say. I can still remember up till this month!! LOL.

On second thoughts, perhaps its the company that made it this awesome then. =)

then again we have awesome music by our very in house *cough* DJ…

One more picture for you if you are not convince yet that it was an awesome session!!

Mind Us, We Don’t get together that often so yea, we went way past Neverland for a second there!!

Earth Hour 2009 : BBQ in the Dark!!

It was some history breaking hour last Saturday when people around the world from different cities and races turn off the lights for one whole hour. Of course, not everyone did that, but still it was somewhat a meaningful event.

Like me, some people might think that this whole earth hour thing is overrated. Some might even add on that this whole thing is crappy and pointless and there’s no such thing as global warming.

Anyways, started since 2 years ago in Australia, this movement have reached many people’s heart and we’ve seen more cities and people joining last Saturday. Malaysia was one of the country as well with a few major parts switching off their lights in KL.

Thousands of Malaysian had a walk of hope @ Cap Square while some others went to other places like Bukit Bintang, Look Out Point, Sunway and etc. Some others had their little own plans such as having a romantic dinner in the dark with friends & family and there’s even this couple who had an awesome dark wedding dinner @ Sheraton Subang Hotel.

Yes i thought that’s cool.

As for me, though i think that it’s overrated, i was still pretty excited on this earth hour thingy as it’s like a global event where you can participate in it. I’ll always be excited in such movement/events, just like the KL FREEZE that happen last year, THAT WAS AWESOME.

I was actually looking forward to the original plan on going to Look Out Point with a few friends, but the plan was called off where they headed to the cinemas. There and then, another friend called and told me about a session in Sg Buloh.

and so, during Earth Hour, i was @ Steven’s house, Sg Buloh ~~attending some cult activities chopping some raw flesh drinking blood the whole hour~~ joining the group of basketball friends in an extremely romantic BBQ session.

There was like the 14 of us if i’m not mistaken where there’s only one girl Duh!! Lolx

Together, we BBQ under the lamp post light by the road and enjoy the hour of earth getting ourselves hot with sweats and more sweats and MORE sweats.

But i enjoyed it Haha.

and seriously, we didn’t play cheat!! The lights at Steven‘s house was turned off for one whole hour. So, on 9.30pm the lights were turned on again and everyone of use were relieved that it’s over. Like finally.

and the BBQ session continues….

the whole session was pretty funny and crazy!!

where some of us started playing cards while the others continue BBQ-ing.
Yes, the BBQ session started from 8pm and lasted till after 12am.

It was around 1am+ where the half of us left and the remaining ones headed to McD…

and so there goes my Earth Hour 2009, BBQ in the Dark ftw!!!

A BBQ in An Awesome Weekend

Heck last weekend was AWESOME. I really could not describe how awesome was that awesome ahhh dang it, it was PURE AWESOME!!

If you’ve read this previous post here, you’ll know that on Friday itself we celebrated HsuJen’s birthday and headed to this Rubbish Party after that.

and now, FINALLY i got my hands on the pictures!!! haha so much of the speed of light by both Nigel and Kelli *stares at david*

Now you believe what i’ve said about the name “Rubbish” Party right?? You can see the word Lap Sap in the picture above and lapsap is the cantonese pronunciation for rubbish.

i’m gonna hold that part on HsuJen‘s Birthday/LapSap party first as i need to compile and edit the pictures. heeee. =X

For now, i’ll blog about this little BBQ gathering with some “malatlou” on last Saturday-one of the things that made last weekend awesome!!

I was looking forward to this gathering as i’ve not seen some of them in ages already. =(

and because this gathering only consist of guys and there’s a NO GIRLS ALLOWED rule for it, so i kinda contributed in getting the fire starter for the BBQ.

A very good brand i would say, especially for a gathering with ONLY ~~gays~~ guys.

Mostly hotdogs and bacons only, hehe. Nice Right?

we had some really private moments together where we use the same STICKS for the food from time to time. hehe.

then suddenly, out of no where, these 2 cute little creatures came.

and everyone started playing with them. =D

It was really a nice night spent with these peeps and I’m happy that after skipping a few times of YumCha session, i finally get to see them again!!

DGMB BBQ Part 2

Continue from the 1st part…

After the BBQ Session, we went into the house and proceed to this “room” where we started playing games…..

to be exact, MAFIA =)

a few games of mafia have been played and we have this “video clip” watching session

where Nigel showed us….

-The random meeting of a few bloggers….
-how they actually become so close and go to events in a group
-the random stuffs altogether that form this group of bloggers who name themselves with a “stupid” name DGMB - Definitely Gang Maybe Bang. =)

To other people, it might be just a normal and simple video clip, but to us, it was extraordinary special and valueble, although the period of time is short, but we have sweet memories altogether and we actually shared quite some stuffs through gmail threads.

All thanks to Nigel who compiled the pictures + music and made the video clips!!

Sheon came late!! and again.. *salute* for him coming down all the way from Kedah

and we watched the clip for the 2nd time with Sheon!! HAHA (actually the 3rd time, 2nd time was with sJ and yatz)

Well, it was already late night….. Half of the people went home around 2am-3am leaving the others back there watching really FUNNY videos.

Around 4am-5am, everyone decided to call it a day, the 5 of us – Randy, Me, ShuJian, Yatz and his gf, Josephine went for mamak instead.

So, why did i say it was HAPPENING to us?

Minus the scandal(both caught in action!! haha)…..

and

the creepy stuffs(there’s a head in between them both with tongue sticking out o.O)

We had a great time together!!

we play around with “heights” =)

we pretend that we are angry!!!

we exchanged laughters…… =p

and others of course!!

but the most important thing of all is…

the fellowship we had on that day!!!

we really do love each other don’t we?? hehehehehehehe

DGMB BBQ Part 1

This whole BBQ party was planned long time ago by us, many replies were exchanged in our very own BBQ gmail thread.

As i’ve mentioned before in my previous posts, the party was happening to us and it was quite a helluva gathering for us people. =)

There were many pictures on this party, so i’m going to divide this BBQ post into 2 parts.

1st of all, let me show you one and only basic thing bloggers would do when they go out.

Anyway,

the BBQ session went really well with everyone eating very much(getting fat) enjoying themselves chatting/bitching with new friends/old friends and i would say that the fellowship is good for everyone.

*however i was hoping that someone else was there..

The BBQ session ended around 9-10pm(i couldn’t remember) and most of us went into the house for a “second round” of fellowshipping. hehehehehehehehe
