What is Gwiyomi? Gwiyomi is a Korean internet slang which refers to “the cute one/little cutie”

하리 Hari (Danal Entertainment) is a South Korean artiste who sang the The Cute Song – Gwiyomi Song 귀요미 송 and back in Jan-Feb 2013, various Kpop artiste who appeared on Korean entertainment programs has attempted to act cute (During Aegyo Battles. Aegyo = act cute) with a few hand gestures/movements that was associated with the The Cute Song – Gwiyomi Song 귀요미 송. The first artiste to do so is believed to be Jung Llhoon of BtoB back in October 2012. The song describes the love of a girl and a boy in a cute way.

Kpop artiste who have done the Gwiyomi Aegyo include BTOB, JYJ, BEAST, SNSD, BIGBANG, BLOCK B, SHINee, INFINITE, 2YOON ,Sistar, Teen Top,S­UPER Junior and more.

I don’t know for what reason and why it took so long to became viral, in recent weeks, netizens have recorded their own version of Gwiyomi/Kiyomi on YouTube and it is currently gaining more attention. The people in Thailand practically made Gwiyomi a viral sensation in the month of March 2013 with Thai actresses such as Nuengthida ‘Noona’ Sophon and Tanyares ‘Tanya’ Ramnarong, Four Mod and Neko Jump joining in doing “Gwiyomi Aegyo”.

Last week, Pakho Chau 周柏豪 Shiga Lin 连诗雅 from Hong Kong were here in Kuala Lumpur Malaysia for their album promo tour. They had a music showcase plus autograph session at Stage Club Kuala Lumpur on Friday night. Organized by GAM Entertainment, Pakho and Shiga were here to promote their latest album Imperfect Collection and Movin’ On respectively.

Scheduled to start at 9.30PM, both of them arrived around 9.45PM and came out 15 minutes later. MyFM DJ – Gan Mei Yan 顏微恩 was the emcee of the night where Pakho Chau 周柏豪 was the first artiste introduced up on stage. It was the first public appearance in Malaysia for Pakho Chau 周柏豪, a talented Hong Kong singer who kick-started his career back in 2007.

Shiga Lin 连诗雅 of Lan Kwai Fong 喜愛夜蒲 fame was here in Malaysia for the 2nd time where the last time she came was just last year in June. Pakho Chau 周柏豪 performed 2 songs 天光 and 無力挽回 where Shiga Lin 连诗雅 delivered 2 songs as well 起跑 and 到此为止.

There was a short game session after the performances where 5 lucky fans were picked by the emcee to be up on stage. The fans got to sing with their idol and the crowd get to decide who wins an autograph CD. The highlight of the session came when one specific fan-girl got all of Pakho’s fans jealous when she leaned on his shoulder while singing with the singer – check out the 2nd picture below.

The autograph session started right after the game session and it lasted for a good 40 minutes. Overall, the music showcase was good, just wished they performed more songs. Personal thought: Shiga looks a bit thinner now compared to when she was here in KL last June, hope she’ll gain back a bit weight! By the way, check out the videos recorded during the show below :

I don’t know is it just me but i kinda feel that recently, more and more companies are going on the path to produce a short film with a theme (usually love) to promote their products rather than just a 10-30 seconds short advertisment.

3 weeks ago, this short film was uploaded on Youku and now the video has 2.6Million views in counting. The video was also reuploaded to Tudou where there are more than 300k views in total from 40+ re-uploads. This particular short film talks about a girl who lost her memories and there were flash backs from time to time where she slowly gained back memories of her being with this particular stranger she met in a coffee shop.

Video done by Simple Man Studio 简单人工作室 for China Citic Bank 中信银行, this is a really good short film with good cast, nice sound & music, smooth editing and of course, the awesome short story line. Do enjoy watching the short film.

The main actor in the short film is Tiger 何松虎 & the main actress is Fei Yang 张菲洋. Not really famous individuals in China. Yet.

Well guess what? They are husband and wife in real life. =)

Earlier this week when i was still in VivoCity Singapore, i had one of the best dinner in 2011 having Japanese hotpot – Shabu Shabu at Shabuya in the mall. We ordered a set which was available just for the festive period.

It was a very fulfilling meal with both of us adding some weight definitely!! Two types of soup base were served – the Miso Soup Base & the Plain Soup Base. The huge portion of salad came shortly after. It was so huge that we were still having it in mid of having our ‘Japanese hot pot’!

Soon, they placed a big bowl of vegetables as well as assortments of processed meat & 3 portions of beef – both Wagyu & Angus yums!!!

We were pretty busy putting in almost everything into the soup and it was fun doing so with the girlfriend. She was quite cheeky at times & i was just sitting there looking at her mixing this and that here and there.

Ah the beef, it was Ichiban!! The thin slices of beef was the best, placing it into the soup for approximately 10-20 seconds and take out, place in your mouth = YUMS!!

Of course, the soup base was pretty tasty as well, with the assortments of different types of vegetables & meat – this is probably one of the best meal I’ve had in Singapore. Okay, i admit, i didn’t have that much MEALS down south. Will probably do so in the coming year. Haha!

Not to mention, the fried rice served was delicious as well. I finished the whole bowl of rice along with the food mentioned above…

… and find myself having difficulties walking in the mall later on. Too full. Bleh.

The meal ended when the last piece of Tempura Ice Cream going down my stomach as we finally called for the bill.

Great ambiance, good service, delicious food(Yes i’m a Malaysian and i can’t believe i just said that food in Singapore is delicious) & most importantly, it all falls on who are you dining with. *wink*

The bill, is it important? It was SGD 85.80. LOL.

Apparently, there was a teaser trailer shown at the Harry Potter And The Deathly Hallows: Part 2 debut last Friday at limited places. Loads of tweets were made on the teaser trailer of The Dark Knight Rises at Harry Potter movie screenings where other users started to search online for the clip resulting in a lot of “rubbish” unrelated videos being uploaded on YouTube.

The teaser- trailer started with the text “Every Hero Has A Journey, then Liam Neeson’s voice can be heard saying, “If you make yourself more than just a man, if you devote yourself to an ideal, then you become something else entirely, a legend, Mr. Wayne, a legend.

Then Commissioner Gordon is seen lying in a hospital bed appearing to be near death during a conversation with either Batman or Bruce Wayne. He pleads for Batman to return as evil has been rising. The trailer then reveals very short shots of Bane staring into the camera then to a fight scene with Batman backing down from an approaching Bane.

Several brief scenes of Bane and Batman were revealed. Very limited scenes of the movie itself actually and the best part is the crumbling skyline of Gotham City where the Batman symbol was showed. THAT itself really caught my attention!

Anyways, the video was taken with a phone/video recorder and reports say that Warner Bros. has asked that all news outlets and websites remove any illegal copies of the teaser-trailer shown in cinemas last weekend, and wait for the official release to be made.

Movie shooting/production is still on-going for The Dark Knight Rises but the first official trailer was said to be scheduled to release on the 18th of July which is Today! JENG!!

Anyways, the movie will be released on the 20th of July 2012 and Malaysia will be one of the FIRST few country to watch it ONE day earlier – 19th July 2012.

Almost 2 months of reaching major Chinese Entertainment headlines, the 2 main person involved has finally made their say in what the media reported as a broken marriage. Both Cecilia Cheung 张柏芝 & Nicholas Tse 谢霆锋 has talked about their marriage in recent days.

Cecilia Cheung 张栢芝 tried reaching Nicholas Tse 谢霆锋 for more than 1 month but failed and so decided to come out and make a public statement to get his attention and she hope that they can both meet up and talk in private.

According to a telephone interview (23th June 2011) between the media and Cecilia Cheung 张栢芝, she said that she’ll reveal Nicholas Tse 谢霆锋 and asked him not to act as a good man, good husband and good father anymore. She said that he’s fake and he’s the one who attacked her indirectly releasing all the negative news of herself to the media.

She also added that he seldom care about their kids (Lucas & Quintus).

张柏芝接受访问时要揭开谢霆锋“真面目”，更力斥他不要再扮“好男人、好老公、好爸爸”！相信“锋芝婚变”将成定局，没有再挽救的余地，这对曾是观众眼中的金童玉女，童话式婚姻已将成历史。

记：为什么你认为霆锋是放料人？

Almost immediately (24th June 2011), Mani Fok 霍汶希, the manager of Nicholas Tse 谢霆锋 posted a public statement representing him saying that he’ll settle his own family issue hoping that all the rumors will cease. He also thanked Cecilia Cheung 张栢芝 on her commitment/contribution for the past 5 years.

Today, Nicholas Tse 谢霆锋 attended the premiere of his latest movie – Treasure Inn 财神客栈 at Beijing and faced the media on the issue of his marriage. He said that both he and Cecilia Cheung 张栢芝 are still in love and admitted that there’s a problem in their marriage and do not know how to solve it. However, both of them will put their priority on their kids – Lucas & Quintus before making any major decision.

2011 May 30 – Hong Kong well known host Eileen 查小欣 leaked that both Nicholas Tse & Cecilia Cheung are no in good terms even before the recent Hong Kong Film Awards. Nicholas Tse’s manager Mani Fok released a public statement saying that he didn’t send a lawyer letter to Cecilia Cheung requesting for a separation

2011 June 23 – Cecilia Cheung publicly commented that it was Nicholas Tse who let Eileen 查小欣 leak the news previously to give a bad name to herself.

2011 June 24 – Mani Fok, manager of Nicholas Tse released a public statement on Sina Weibo saying that he’ll settle his family issues and thanked Cecilia Cheung for all she’d done in the last 5 years.

2011 June 26 – Nicholas Tse attended the premiere of Treasure Inn in Beijing and said that both he and Cecilia Cheung is still in love and they will put their priorities on their kids.

Both Nicholas Tse 谢霆锋 & Cecilia Cheung 张栢芝 knew each other for 13 years with 5 years of marriage in between. Both of them grew up in a broken family with parents divorced.

Saw 5 friends posting this video from YouTube up on Facebook. Watched & Listened and thought it was awesome!! The project itself was.

On April Fool itself, J Rice blast out emails to the friends he knew through YouTube (Mainly Singers) with a rough mix of the song with only 1 verse and chorus. Within 24 hours, 90% of the people on the mail list responded positively.

3 weeks later, which where J Rice took 50 hours to complete editing/mixing work; the full version is out and it was posted up online just yesterday.

It seems like Nicholas Cage’s movie have been pretty shitty in recent years. Almost every movie that he acts in turns out to attract more critics than praises. This movie aboves seems to be so as well. Before watching it, i thought it would be somehow at certain standards but it was quite bad.

2 courageous knights who left their duties going on a journey with no purpose find themselves in a city attacked by a plague.

The whole movie is quite boring from the start till the end except for the action parts. Storyline ain’t very nice and though it was quite smooth, it doesn’t really makes me go wow and hoohaa but just errrrr and mehhh.

The overly suspense attribute that’s being shown in the movie had me losing interest towards the ending of the movie and good thing i wasn’t expecting much from this movie because the ending was really crappy.

Witchery and witches or things that you could relate to the title of the movie wasn’t really display in this very movie and the ending is the biggest reason why i think this movie is bad. Do watch this movie only if you’re a big fan of Nicholas Cage. The action scenes were pretty cool, apart from that i don’t know what else i can say.

My Rating for this movie is 5.5/10
