Now and Then

A lot of things have changed. The people aren’t the same anymore and the atmosphere is definitely different. Stepping into the same place which i seldom go had me having this weird feeling inside of me. Definitely, it’s not the same anymore and i know that but hey good or bad i really wonder.

All i can just do is just to think positively that’s all. Haha what am i saying!!

Well that’s what’s in my heart at the moment and it actually refers to a whole lot of stuffs so please do not make silly guesses. =)

Along with my thoughts above do allow me to promote about this alright?

Well Advertorials like this don’t come that often and for no specific reasons i’ve decided to actually skip talking about stuffs like this “OH THE BLACKBERRY STORM2 IS SO AWESOME BECAUSE YOU CAN TWEET AND FACEBOOK WITH IT!!”.

What i’m gonna say next is pretty much what i think and i’m sure it won’t take much of your time then.

So well, the Blackberry craze in Malaysia have been ongoing for quite some time already and from time to time i’ll get status updates on Facebook/Twitter saying that someone have bought a Blackberry.

I must admit that peer pressure is something very powerful and i have something for touch screen phones as well.

With that, i’m just gonna tell you, NO Not force you, but just telling you that if you have friends around using Blackberry phones and you’re like me who have something for touch phones where you love being updated with Facebook/Twitter status, then do consider getting the Blackberry Storm 2 9520. *smile*

Do think about it yah. =)

Digg Nose Berry Good!

You know, whenever i find anything that interests me a lot or come across anything extremely funny or educational, i’ll randomly decided to put it up here and talk about it sharing to YOU who reads my blog.

Just hours ago, i was browsing Facebook and i saw a friend tagged along on this very picture and after i click into it only i find out about this shocking news.

Its funny for me and i think it’s quite educational as well for YOU!! Well if it’s true LOL!!

Basicly it says that a doctor from Austria found out that digging your nose and taking out the “nose shits” where you proceed on eating them will help in improving your body immune system.

Sound stupid huh? Have no idea on how true is it, i read it and had a good laugh about it and that’s all. and NO I DIDN’T TRY IT!!

Well if you want to know more about what’s written in the news article above then ask me personally or get a friend to translate it for you haha!!

Ok time for me to talk about some other stuffs and NO don’t go away first lah i haven started yet ok?

First, i would like to tell you this Kimberly here is very the awesome because she just did some wicked comparison on the best Twitter applications for Blackberry. Go read it if you’re like me who’s a Twitter Addict!!

So yes its about the Blackberry Storm2 9520 by Celcom and talking about the phone, i can’t stop thinking about the 3.25″ LCD hi-resolution HVGA + Colour Display screen.

Ultimate all-in-one messaging and multimedia, this is somehow true in many ways. Blackberry devices have been well known for its well designed Push Email Service providing secure E-Mail messaging.

Since the attack of Blackberry devices on Malaysia resulting in a huge wave of youths/younger generation people embracing the phone itself, i would say that the Blackberry Storm actually suits the youths more because of its much more better for entertainment needs where the younger generation are constantly looking for more entertainment every now and then.

I can imagine how awesome it is watching a clip/show on the 3.25″ LCD screen when i’m out and with the capability of adding up to 32GB MicroSD memory to this device, there’ll be quite a lot of entertainment for one’s daily life!

It would be much more comfortable surfing the internet with such a large screen especially with websites containing a lot of interesting contents right?

I don’t know whether will you agree with me on this but hey at least i myself as one of the *cough* younger *cough* generation thinks so that the Blackberry Storm2 will be an awesome device for *cough* young *cough* people *cough* LIKE ME!!

By the way, please allow me to get just 5 minutes of your attention ok?

The Blackberry Storm 9520 comes with a touch screen of 480 x 360 pixels supporting java games and applications. It has dedicated music keys as well and is mobile TV compatible. A touch screen phone with a relatively large screen for your entertainment needs!! Oh and it is preloaded with java applications as well!!

A look on my friend’s BB1 media player videos amazed me on how good it can be watching a video on the phone, quite a solid phone.

Storming back this Festive Season

Its Friday again and this Friday will be pretty quiet in KL as most people took leave to head back earlier to their respective home town to celebrate the first ever Chinese New Year in this very decade.

Reading the news having to find out that there were already 13 deaths in the first 2 days of “Ops Sikap” got me a big sigh on my face. Such cases nearing Chinese New Year often remind me of a friend who passed away on the 3rd day of CNY many years back when i was still in Form 5. It was really saddening back then.

=)

Anyway anyhow, no matter what time are you traveling back home, please do drive safely and ensure that you have fully rested before the journey and put safety at first place throughout the trip okay? Hehe.

On another unrelated note, if you’ve been following my twitter account for the past 2 weeks, i’m sure that you’ll notice the #CelcomBlackberry tweets by me talking a bit here and there about the latest BlackBerry® Storm™ 9520 model from Celcom  in Malaysia.

Some of you knew what was happening and yes i was promoting the latest Blackberry Storm 2 model and what’s Celcom offering to the public then.

Well, before you decide to CTRL+W on me with this specific blog post, let me just share something personal with you. Though i’m promoting this, i’m really interested in it myself. Do read on.

Ever since she headed South last year, my telephone bills have rose up to as much as RM300 per month and it was getting really hard to keep in touch through phone.

Then one fine day, she told me that she just got a Blackberry Bold there thanks to all the BB preacher out there on twitter, i guess she was one of the many ones who got interested in BB through that. Knowing that the phone itself is good in various ways, i was tempted to get one myself as well.

Money is the main problem for me along with a few other factors which hold me back from getting one of these device when Celcom Xpax had this super deal selling the Blackberry Curve at only RM888.

Looking at her playing with her Blackberry ignoring me most of the time made me pretty jealous and with her telling me the few facts that could help me save money on my bills with Blackberry Messenger on a Blackberry Device had me making a decision i won’t normally do – Camping one whole night for a Blackberry.
*i spent like almost RM200 on just SMS alone so if we both uses BBM then i won’t use that much money.

…which turned out in a big disappointment for me as i have no luck in getting it.

At the end of the day, i have to put the thought of getting a BB behind my back as money is still quite a big problem for me even though we’ve contacted each other lesser to reduce the burden on our phone bills.

Then there was this launch of Blackberry Bold 2 by Celcom just a month ago which i regretted not going…

and just recently, Celcom had an official launch of the Blackberry Storm 2 on the 22th of Jan 2010 which i eventually missed it as well due to work and weather factors.

So just one question here, now that Celcom is offering the latest Blackberry Storm 9520 (BB Storm 2) and looking that i’m going to get my salary in 2 weeks time, do you think i should get it hmmm? I kinda like the big touch screen if you ask me =D.

Blackberry users, please advice me on this?

I’m still going through the details myself and if you’re interested as well, you can check out the links as well :

So yea peeps, tell me what do you think okay?

and again, to those who are heading back their hometown this Chinese New Year, take care, drive safe and enjoy!! =)

Cheers!!

Everyone Connects at Bukit Bintang!

If you’re a fellow Malaysian and you’re not being in your own world all by yourself living in some deserted location where nobody knows, i’m pretty sure you’ve been hearing a specific song with the song title “Through My Windows” where it was played almost everywhere every now and then since last month.

Most of you might already know about it, it’s a whole big campaign by TM with the main objective of connecting people, basically everyone!

In support of our current Prime Minister’s vision, 1Malaysia perhaps.

Anyway, last Saturday was the big day. The day all the connections surfaced where people gathered in front of Sungei Wang at Bukit Bintang. With the large stage all set up there along with a gigantic screen for the public with local celebrities act as well as the big main thing, to give a chance for local indie bands to shine on stage!

The main event starts from 3pm and ends at 8pm where i reached like around 5pm. Like in the middle of the whole big thing. It was insane i tell you, upon reaching the place, i saw the large amount of crowds there immediately.

Would actually think of some illegal gathering or whatsoever if i didn’t know about the event before reaching the place because the people there were so hyped up!! They were under the sky with raindrops coming down and all they did was just having fun!

Not ordinary fun but Fun FUN!! I see people dancing, jumping around with a big smile on their face being all jolly happy.

Then i see people singing out their hearts ignoring the others around them, with their hand gestures to further express themselves!!

It’s like, how often do you see a ball such big in the air? With that much of people on a street that is normally filled with cars honking at each other bumper to bumper.

All of a sudden, the intensity that that area usually have, with all the invisible pressure on people living their lives in the city seems to go off just like that. With all the laughter and joy despite the heavy rain, the youths in KL are having fun in their own way and its an interesting scene to be in.

Of course, thanks to some of the local celebrities that were there that day, they were the reason most of the youths came out from their homes to connect with each other at Bukit Bintang.

and Gosh, now only i know that local celebrities actually have quite a lot of hardcore fans around following after them, seeking for signature and a picture together. Who says that the youths in our country are so obsessed of western culture? As far as i know, I was seeing the other way round!

Furthermore, you don’t want to mess with these indie bands. Some of the bands have lots of true loyal fans where i heard screaming and cheering when some certain band went up on stage to perform. They have potential to shine.

Just look at the people present there. Amazing!

It was an interesting event for me at the end of the day. I would say that TM did quite a good job in connecting the youths together throughout this whole campaign altogether providing a specific outlet for them to express themselves which is through singing.

She converses in Tamil and he talks in Malay where I might be speaking Chinese right here, but with the international language Music, Everyone is Connected just like that.

Karaoke one day okay?
