This is too epic. Just saw a short summary of Journey to The West that was written backwards. Meaning that the original version of the story was from A-Z, but this version was written from Z-A. Epic. Freaking epic. Too lazy to translate it but if you can read Mandarin, then enjoy!!!

It was the 2nd day of the Chinese New Year just yesterday and we Malaysians have something to brag about. We have South Korean Superstar PSY to entertain us in a high school at noon time. That’s quite something I must say and PSY Park Jae Sang who is under YG Entertainment not only performed once, but TWICE!! Yes TWICE.

Check out some of the pictures taken during PSY’s first performance in Malaysia!

Anyway, it seems like the people who were there had fun watching PSY’s performance live. Good for them. For me, I had fun reading random funny tweets about the event and there were a few hilarious videos uploaded on YouTube as well.

Korean superstar Psy handed Malaysia’s ruling party a slap in the face when he declined to come onstage to toss the traditional ‘yee-sang’ with embattled Prime Minister Najib Razak and other top members of his BN coalition at a gig to celebrate the Chinese New Year.

The dull response from the Penang audience was unmistakable when the PM was unwise enough to ask them – three times no less -, “are you ready for BN”. The ‘Nos’ drowned out the ayes. Yet when Najib had asked if the audience was ready for Psy, they had gone wild, screaming ‘Yes’ with all their might.

Worst was yet to come for Najib. In his speech, he mistakenly called the Han Chiang College ‘Han Yang’ several times, drawing loud boos. The implication that he was not sincere was clear and from then on, there was no way for him to win the crowd back to his side.

The song Together sang by 鄭伊健 Ekin Cheng was released in 1999 and back then, it was the golden era of Cantonese music. With the initial release of Napster in the same year, I still had limited access to various music with only 56k internet speed. So, I’ll visit the nearest night market to check out what are the latest hot tracks. Saw Ekin Cheng’s latest CD that time and I really bought the disk back home where the track Together became one of my favorite Cantonese songs since then.

Well anyways, Robynn & Kendy just released a YouTube cover song on Together – 鄭伊健 Ekin Cheng and I liked it. Listen!!

Chrissie Chau 周秀娜 is a model/actress/DJ from Hong Kong who rose to fame in 2009/2010. Being Hong Kong’s most famous model, she was one of the main factor on the rising wave of pseudo models in various public events in the country.

In the photo series above, Chrissie is seen in all red for Chinese New Year 2013. After her recent break up with her long time boyfriend, she has decided to be based in China to expand her career there.

On the 8th of December 2012, a forum entitled “Seiringkah mahasiswa dan politik?” was held at Universiti Utara Malaysia (UUM) in Sintok, Kedah. One month later (9 January 2013), a 24 minutes video recorded during the session mentioned above was uploaded on TvMyMahasiswa YouTube channel.

14 January 2013 – BOOM. Video went viral, individuals in the video became famous. A related Facebook page managed to get 5 digit fans in 12 hours.

You’ll understand the whole story after watching the video. What happens after that was pure social media explosion where trolls came out fighting with keyboard warriors replying entertaining lurkers like me behind the computer.

Okay maybe I’m not really a lurker since I’m writing a blog post about this but well, this whole episode have “so much win” in so many ways. I wonder how many of such cases will emerge before GE13 happens this year. Interesting, really interesting. Even Nandos Malaysia joined in the fun!

So there’s another fan-made live action video base on the story of Dragonball by Akira Toriyama. Set in the timeline of DragonBall Z when Vegeta first appeared on earth, other characters which were featured in this video are Piccolo, Tien, Yamcha, Krillin, Gohan, Nappa, Raditz, Chaiotzu & of course Goku.

Am not really impressed with the video but I do salute the team who came out with this video, they must have done quite an amount of work to come out with this end result. Now I can’t wait to catch the first DragonBall Z movie in 17 years which will be released in 2013!

I catch no balls in this music video. Can’t see the point in it. Don’t even know why the heck Nidji was involved, am sure there are much more bands from Indonesia which are better than Nidji but well since Mister Potato is involved and they featured Wayne Rooney, Shinji Kagawa, Chicarito, Valencia & even Sir Alex Ferguson in the video, layan a bit lah okay?
