My Daily Life

Lam Urm Dou Yeh

It’s actually pretty rare to see a guy who blog about having a hair cut showing you how is his latest hairstyle and sharing what he thinks about his new haircut be it good or bad, stylish or old fashion and etc.

and what i’m going to show is…

My hair…

my ah pek hairstyle shaved from back till side…

leaving just a patch in front… Some sorta hairstyle which i’ve never had before…

and i’m still in shock…

Ok lah i feel like a girl already, normally only girls post about their new haircut/hairstyles and not guys.

Eh wait!! THERE are people who actually thinks that i am girlish and i like a girl

T__________T

Back From May’n BIG WAAAAAVE!! Asia Tour 2010 LIVE at KL Live Centre, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia!

Woohoo!! It’s an awesome month. I’ve met 2 awesome girl in the first 2 weeks of March and i’m gonna meet the most awesome girl next weekend!!!!

Please forgive me for my stupidity but anyways, i just came back from a concert, an awesomely energetic one with impressive vocal showcase from May’n of Macross Frontier fame all the way from Japan here in Kuala lumpur indicating her first stop of the May’n BIG WAAAAAVE!! Asia Tour 2010!!

I really wonder that did any other Japan pop/mainstream singer came to Malaysia to perform before or not but this is the first time i’ve watch a Japan singer performing and i’m more than happy to be there!!

With a whole crowd of hardcore fans waiting there since God knows what time, the concert only started around 8pm where i already see these bunch of people at around 6.30PM.

The lightnings was just nice and with the massive amount of sticks waving through out the whole night, i was happy that i was like 3-4 row in front and not behind.

Didn’t realize that she WAS THAT cute when i went on YouTube to find her videos, i had like 5 seconds stand still moment stoning there admiring the one on stage performing the songs that got her the fame she deserved!

Alright so i was told that we bloggers should not post any pictures of May’n taken and we need to get the official pictures from them which explains why i blurred some of her pictures above but hey i figured out that some fan would want to see her so there you go…

One of the pictures i took to show how awesome she was!!

*believe me, she’s awesome!!
*and so the organizers said no pics of May’n allowed to be post at all so i’ve removed the pics =D

So yea it was quite an awesome end to this very weekend i suppose and i’m now looking forward to the next weekend.

Cheers to May’n and every single singers from Japan, i somehow believe that the singers from Japan have this sorta magic that could capture people’s heart even though some of them might not even understand their language.

I’m one of them. =X

Would love to see more performances like this. Awesomely AWESOME!!

With that being said, stay tuned for a post with more pictures of May’n if i do get my hands on the official photos that is. *fingers crossed*

Till then, one last picture for you…

One of the Crew. Ha!

stupid i am

Stepping out of the train with the heavy rain out there, i slow down a bit on my tempo and took a few pictures. It started raining just when i was leaving Times Square.

Well, normally after getting out of the train, i’ll rush my way down and walk to the bus stop ignoring everyone waiting for the bus to get home, but i took my time today and had a good look at the sky with the rain pouring down.

I even took more pictures while i’m walking halfway towards the bus stop. Silly me standing under the rain with no apparent reason.

Have been complaining about the rain happening at the wrong time from time to time on twitter recently and i find it strange that i’m actually smiling in the rain today.

Perhaps its because i just got these tickets above. I was a bit too excited, looking forward to the 2nd weekend of this month!

Over excited i supposed, whole mind was about that single thing till i came home finding out that i bought the tickets with the wrong dates. Drove all the way back to the ticketing place only to find out that I ACTUALLY BOUGHT THE TICKETS WITH THE RIGHT DATES!!

I am such a stupid person. Just sometime.

and i’m still scratching my head on plans to make for that day, what to get and such. =(

Stupid much eh?

Watching Manchester City Thrashing Chelsea in High Definition with ESPN

Eversince Astro launch their Astro Byond service recently, i’ve been wanting to watch a soccer match in high definition to see how it feels like doing so.

Then again i had this chance to watch the match between Manchester City and Chelsea last weekend hoping that Manchester City will do its wonders winning the match kicking Chelsea’s ass!

and Oh boy it’s a rare scene in English Premier League history that you see Manchester United and Arsenal supporters supporting and cheering for Manchester City while Liverpool betting for Chelsea to win.

Those who is keeping an eye on the league all these while will know what am i saying and if all goes well for Manchester City, we’ll be seeing 2 football clubs from the same city in the Champions League next season.

Back to the game itself, it was thrilling seeing the ex-ManUtd striker Tevez scoring twice with Bellamy’s 2 goals as well sealing the victory where 2 of Chelsea’s players was rewarded with the ultimate red card. What a game it was and watching it on High Definition just made it a little bit more satisfying!!

Thanks to ESPN for the HD experience, an event which got my friend Eklern a new ball back home Haha.

ah before i end this post, to all fellow Chelsea supporters, i know how it feels watching your favorite team lose. I was there in Old Trafford when Liverpool thrash Manchester United 4-1.

Now that Manchester United won the Carling Cup already, i can’t wait for them to win the Champions League as well as the Premier League!!

Cheers!!

袁咏琳大马音乐签唱会 – 画沙

Yesterday was the music showcase of Cindy Yen 袁咏琳 on her debut album which was held at Sungei Wang Plaza, Kuala Lumpur Malaysia.

Cindy Yen was born on the 14th of November 1986 in Houston, Texas. She began learning piano at the age of 5 and violin at the age of 10. When she was 12, her parents divorced, and since then she was brought up by her mother. After graduating with a double major in Music & Journalism, she returned to Taiwan. In 2009, she also won Miss Chinatown USA pageant 2009.

She is now JVR Music’s new singer-songwriter.

Cindy composed & sung the theme song “Do you see me” in a recent Far EasTone advertisement and was seen as the next promising newcomer after Joanna Wang & Alisa Gao.

On the 30th of October 2009, Cindy released her self-titled debut album ‘Cindy Yen’. The title track was her duet with superstar Jay Chou – ‘Sand Painting’ which was composed & produced by her, while the lyrics were written by Vincent Fang.

Her debut album is mainly built upon R&B, spiced with popular elements such as rock, metal and electronics. Cindy composed all 10 melodies, with some help with the lyrics from Vincent Fang & Nan Quan Mama’s Lara. Her album includes not only her R&B, pop & classical roots, but also other genres such as pop rock, hard metal & even Latin dance beat, which proves her versatility in different music styles, while her piano ballads also demonstrate her solid vocals.

Cindy is beyond dispute a newcomer with firm music talent & her arrival in the music industry has already created a huge stir!

Upon appearing up on stage, Cindy Yen 袁咏琳 greeted the Malaysian fans “Apa Khabar” with immediate response from the crowd shouting Cindy!! Being largely reported in the Chinese entertainment world as the next J-Girl of Jay Chou 周杰伦, Cindy said that working on the song Painting Sands 画沙 with Jay is some experience that is rare despite all the rumors, she only treated Jay as her brother.

After a brief conversation with the emcee, Cindy Yen 袁咏琳 performed the song she sang with Jay Chou 周杰伦 with the crowd joining in to sing. Do watch the video above to see her live performance at the music showcase!!

袁咏琳大马音乐签唱会 – 雨後天空

Cindy Yen 袁咏琳 performed a few other songs such as 很旅行的爱情, 雨後天空 and etc which is included in her debut album. Though one of the song she performed talks about her views on her sad relationship with her ex, she had this sweet voice + a big bright smile on her face throughout the whole session.

2 lucky fans got to get on stage to sing with Cindy Yen 袁咏琳 herself and got themselves a special gift from Sony Music Malaysia.

and well, what happen after her performances was the autograph session. She’s just so pretty and attractive that i’ll save my words and just let you see more pictures alright!?

Well, i’ve always been keeping an eye on the Taiwan Entertainment Industry myself and love the music produced there and though the competition are tough over there, i do appreciate some of the singers working hard on their music.

From what Cindy Yen 袁咏琳 said during the earlier press conference, that she’s already working on her 2nd upcoming album, i would wait and love to see what she have installed for the music fans!!

Definitely love her smile!!!

Press Conference of Cindy Yen Music Showcase Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia 袁咏琳大马音乐签唱新闻发布会

Emcee, Cindy Yen 袁咏琳, Managing Directer of Sony Music Malaysia Adrian

Thanks to Sony Music Malaysia, i attended the press conference of 袁咏琳 Cindy Yen’s Music Showcase earlier today at Redbox IOI Mall, Puchong.

With a big smile on her face, she said that the time being in Malaysia is perfect so far where she just arrived from America. Cindy Yen 袁咏琳 is a singer from Taiwan who just released her debut album in October 2009 where she had a duet “Painting Sands 画沙” with Jay Chou 周杰伦 included in the album as well.

Loved the professionalism in Cindy Yen 袁咏琳 when the media people shoots question about Jay Chou 周杰伦 to her at the start of the Q&A session. With praise for the Taiwan Music talent Jay Chou 周杰伦, she said that he is a boss, mentor, friend of hers and that’s all, telling us how she had this chance of co-operating with him and she appreciates it very much.

Being crowned Miss Chinatown USA 2009 and releasing her debut album in the same year itself, the talented Cindy Yen 袁咏琳 who composes and write songs as well is already working on her 2nd upcoming album.

As for me myself, from what i see in her, with the strong competition in the music entertainment scene in Taiwan, to have a chance to work with Jay Chou 周杰伦 is something valuable, but like just what she told us during the press conference that she need to count on herself to path her own future in the next few years, it’s pretty true.

I do think, that with the dream of becoming a star/singer since 3 years old coming true and with a person with such music talent, she definitely have the potential to shine in Taiwan.

Looking forward for more from her!!
