Blessed Birthday Joshua!

Your Father knows the things you have need of before you ask Him.
Matthew 6:8
Have a good one!
___________________________________________________________
By the way, did you know :
The name Joshua is a compilation of two elements. The first element is , which is the commonly accepted abbreviated form of
, which is YHWH, the Name of the Lord.
The second part of the name comes from the verb (yasha 929), be saved, delivered. Derivations
(yesha 929a) and
(yeshua 929b) both mean salvation. Derivation
(shoa 929c) indicates a ‘free man,’ meaning an independent person.
BDB lists under
and reads Yah Is Salvation. NOBSE reads Yahweh Is Salvation.
The name Joshua is the Hebrew form of the Greek name Jesus, and most probably the name by which Jesus was known by His contemporaries. Jesus was fascinated by the Book of Isaiah, probably mostly because this Book appears to be entirely about Him, but perhaps also because the name Isaiah () is almost identical to the name Joshua with the two segments reversed.
Surprises are fun!

Surprise Surprise?
I bet the owner of this blog is rubbing his eyes a couple of times thinking something has gone wrong with his blog.
He must be panicking thinking he got hacked! Well, technically he did get hacked, but I did it with good intentions!
It’s your birthday today Joshua! And instead of wishing you via SMS/FB or even a phone call, this I feel is a much more personal touch and a funnier way to wish you!
If you love to have fun, whether it be dancing the night away, playing online games at http://www.cheekybingo.com/, or just chilling out with friends, this guy is great to have around and I feel lucky to count him as a friend! Joshua despite his good days and bad days, is one friend I am glad to have known and prays that this friendship will go on for years. (Unless he starts winning more trips to UK to watch MU play I might kick his ass).

Here’s to a great birthday year and we’ll have a great time celebrating your day together-gether with good company!
Cheers,
P/S – I am not buying you a Toruk Macto
Am Just Feeling Bored.
Dec 12th
In an hour time, Josh and his friend will be departing to the Old Trafford Stadium for the big kick off. I wonder how it feels being in such crowds. FYI, I don’t really like crowds. They kill my mood. Even when I’m in a mood for shopping, sales make me go moody when I see the shop being packed with people. But I guess being in the crowd at Old Trafford will be a total different feeling.
So, Christmas is less than 2 weeks away. I hate public holidays that falls on a Friday. That means I gotta work on Saturday. Sigh.
Guess what…
I have not bought any gifts for Josh yet, nor for anyone yet, I have not even bought my new Christmas bajus yet! And I already have people telling me they have gifts for me and I feel extremely bad cause I have not gotten them anything yet! I gotta start doing Christmas shopping already. I think I’m getting more kiam siap. When I was still studying, I spend all my money on gifts! Now I work wanna buy gifts also I think twice. Hmmm….
Every December I have good Christmas meals. Turkey, pie, steak, salads, name them all, I have ate them all. This Christmas I have none. =( I am already missing those gatherings and food so badly that everyone back home will have a good time eating while I can just dream about eating them.
Waliao, sounds like this Christmas will be an emo one. Just because of food. =.=’ No no, I have to find way to make this Christmas a jolly one! Look for food!
Oh BTW, Josh‘s birthday is just a week before Christmas (do your math =P)! And again, I have not gotten him anything yet. =( I really do not what to get for him, seriously. He has hinted something, but I am bad at buying that item, and I do not know where to shop for it in Singapore. What should I get for him? I shall start shopping when I’m feeling better. Ain’t feeling well. =(
Anyway, ever wonder where he got his Lumix LX-3 from? =)
It was a random gift. No special day or something. I see him so kesian carry his cacat-ed Canon Ixus, so I thought I should get him a camera. Found out about Lumix LX-3 that takes superb pictures and wanted to get it for myself. But I do not want to be selfish and let that poor dude suffer with his rosak-ed Canon camera, since he often go for millions of events and for sure to blog about it. He often borrow my camera too, always on the same day I need to use it. So yah, he deserves a good camera. =)
When I found out that the Lumix LX-3 is limited, I went everywhere searching for it. I used my savings that I suppose to save for a camera myself. Up til now, I am still unable to reach the amount to get myself a camera, cause there are so many things I wanna buy now and spend money to make myself more beautifoooll…LOL still no money to buy or make myself beautifooolll laa..I have responsibilities to fulfill and cannot spend money unnecessarily d. =(
p.s Oh, his birthday also marks our 6th year together. =D
Much love,
Tiffanie
Live Blogging Invasion : Young Corporate Malaysians 2009
Dec 12th
I’m currently live blogging from the Young Corporate Malaysians 2009 Summit here at Menara Integriti.
Oh ya, you might have noticed that this is not Joshua Ong. Haha.
Oh well, he asked me to guest blog and I figured I’d better write something here. He was supposed to be here with me in this summit though but he’s currently in UK and he’s going to catch a football match pretty soon. Jealousnya.
Anyway, check out the massive amount of people here :
Anyway, I’m gonna pluck out some of the interesting pointers from Twitter and put it here (not too sure if its gonna be important for Joshua’s readers) :
1. Some countries grow in terms of GDP by getting into borrowings. They got themselves heavily indebted.
2. Malaysia is getting less credit for being away from protectionism. – Dato’ Justin Leong
3. They borrow from the future generations to satisfy the greed of the present. Bad model.
4. Instead of criticising the govt, the ruling party, it’s an incumbent for everyone to work upon on. – Dato’s Justin Leong
5. We will always be an export-dependent economy. The next q is: Export to where? – Dato’s Justin Leong
6. We should also pay attention to what we’re importing, one of which is coffee. Ehem.
7. Domestic consumption economy only applies to China and India.
8. Malaysia has a fantastic tourism appeal, especially eco-tourism. – Dato’s Justin Leong
9. The balance of having the infrastructure to get to eco-tourism spot is important too. – Dato’s Justin Leong
10. For those who naively believe that there’s equality. There’s no equality – but equity and equitable quality. – Omar Mustapha
11. There’re 22 banks in Malaysia which only 9 of them are Malaysians. – Charon Mokhzani
12. Protectionism is a propaganda: Look at SG.
13. Malaysian has world class banking facilities, and better credit card functions and benefits. A lot to shout about fr M’sian banks.
14. Bank Negara has done a stellar job in avoiding highly complicated derivatives. – Michael Foong
15. While working on getting foreign banks’ interests into the country, we need to be thinking regionally – local banks going abroad.
16. Malaysia has a serious lack of talents in the financial services industry.
17. Singapore models the Swiss financial services industry model a lot. – Charon Mokhzani
18. The next growth for banking sector will be Indonesia. – Charon Mokhzani
19. Dubai never position themselves as an Islamic financial sector. – Charon Mokhzani
20. There’s no lack of talents, but there’re too many choices of places for talents to go to. – Charon Mokhzani
21. Don’t think there’s a fundamental mismatch in talents today but 2 key: language capabilities critical thinking qualities. – Michael Foong
22. The young ppl today, they’ve fundamentally different expectations. – Michael Foong
23. Many Malaysian banks have very large proportionate of foreign shareholders. – Charon Mokhzani
24. Fueled on Nasi Goreng, Fried Mac and Jala Bread! Let’s continue making Msia Proud. 300 YCM in da hauz!
(it was a lunch break for that one)
25. Challenge of raising projet financing for PLUS privatisation had nvr been done before in the region.
26. Msia has 400 researchers for every 1 million ppl where the likes of Germany & Korea have 5000!
27. Is there still coffee at the back of the hall?
Okay, I think I’m boring you guys out. Gonna go off now. Here’s another random picture of the day :

Hmmm, so basically the owner of the blog has left town.
Hopefully not for good, but then again at the fact that he has won a trip to the UK to watch Manchester United to play TWICE in a year, He might want to reconsider coming home.
Because who knows? There could be a baseball bat in my hand waiting for his arrival due to pure jealousy and discontentment!
So to take my revenge on the first step, *hmmph* I decided to monopolize his blog for one day and start rambling every nonsense I desire too and there is nothing he can do about it!
Well, until he gets back and he is able to delete my post of course.
I would kill to be in his shoes right now, being in the UK, watching my favourite team Manchester United play live in front of me.
I’ll be saving up loads of cash to go to Old Trafford one day and stand here being in awe for a good one hour until I am satisfied.
There is no need for introductions on myself or how I have gotten to known the blog owner as I think most people do know that little tale.
But what many people may not know is that his birthday is looming soon and I’ll scurry around trying to think of a great birthday gift.
Buying gifts for guys truly is difficult especially when guy stuffs seem to be ever so costly.
Ladies, don’t you all agree with me on this area?
Why are guy stuffs so extortingly pricey?!
Thinknig back though, the most expensive gift I have ever bought was a lens for someone special that cost me more than RM300 or so.
What was the most expensive guy gift that you girls had ever bought?
Anyways once that is done, I’ll be badgering him to get me some stuffs from Singapore!
Speaking of which, it’s been a while since I headed down to the Merlion city for Christmas. I miss the loud and bright colours that fill Orchard Road but due to the extensively high exchange rate for SG dollars, I’ll be staying put in KL for Christmas instead.
At least I know I got all my Christmas gifts bought except that they aren’t wrapped yet.
I seriously need to learn how to wrap my own gifts.
Anyone want to give me ‘gift wrapping 101’ classes?
In return I’ll wrap your gifts for you as payment!
I shall invade this blog space much later!
Cheers!

ShareJoshua is far far away..
Dec 10th
Hi everyone! *smiles*
As Josh has posted recently, he is now in a far away foreign land. I hope he’ll be able to take the weather there, cause he’s afraid of cold. (hehe, bocor! Nevermind, he’ll only read this when he comes back…:P) One thing we both have in common, sensitive nose. Once we start sneezing, it’s never ending. I think my condition is worst, cause even in such hot weather I tend to have this never ending tap leaking and sneezes. Allergies. Sigh.
Anyway. Hello again! Shall I introduce myself? =)
My name is Tiffanie. Hail from Kuantan. I’m currently in Singapore working as a nurse, an Operating Theater Nurse in Mount Elizabeth Hospital, which is exactly behind Paragon at Orchard Road.
Thank you for your attention. I’m bad at introducing myself. heh. Now you can continue reading.
Blogging a post in a famous blog is quite fun though. Suddenly my post is being read by like, so many people! *excited* I have a blog, but my blog is just a normal ordinary blog like every blogger out there. Don’t expect much from me if you ever visit my blog (you will need to find out yourself). That is because I don’t blog to target readers much, but more on updating on my daily activities so that friends and family know that I am still alive. And they way I blog is like how I talk. Haha. Over here I need to watch the way I write, jaga muka sikit. =P.
Of course if people like reading my blog, then it’s a bonus. Unlike Josh, who attends so many events and gatherings and become so famous. Even my friends’ friends know him, or his friend’s friend is my friend.
Oh, Josh has just arrived in Manchester. Left at 2am last night. Damn long journey to the other side of the world. I wish I could join the fun. =(
Josh said I can blog about anything here. I scared I blog until you all don’t want to come back so I think I will stop here for today.
Oh….before I go, maybe you guys can tell me about what you think about Josh? Tell both the good and bad. Like, he’s too fat…=P Well, be honest. *serious look* haha! Neh, don’t worry, war will not happen. And what you know about him, that I may not know? Hohohoo…He’s not here..we can spam. =D
Sorry no pictures.
Much love,
Tiffanie
