Last weekend was FUN!!! After witnessing Heineken winning GOLD at the 4th Putra Brand Awards at the Majestic Hotel on Friday night, I attended Heineken Ibiza Party the next night on Saturday.

The party was an exclusive closed event where 6 finalists who participated in the Heineken Ibiza Final challenge which was held through Facebook earlier were there to fight for the 3 spots WINNING the ultimate prize to watch the UEFA Champions League at Ibiza, Spain.

I wanna go watch too, some more it’s IBIZA!! Well congratulations to the 3 winners who went through a series of tough questions which are related to the UEFA Champions League. The night was filled with good music and good food as well as the ever awesome free flow of Heineken provided.

Hang out with a few familiar faces who where there as well till started drizzling later on. Would have stayed back for a longer time if not because of the rain but well nevertheless, I enjoyed myself pretty much. Cheers!!

Last Saturday, Astro threw a party with Nuffnang and invited quite a number of bloggers to experience the latest Astro IPTV service. It was quite a sight especially when the night was a night when the city of Kuala Lumpur had loads of people dressing up in different costumes having an early Halloween celebration!

I personally met Pitbull, Captain America, Wolverine, Storm, Helen of Troy, Poison Ivy, Black Swan Kato, Mickey Mouse, Marilyn Monroe, Red Riding Hood, Princess Leia, Catwoman and more!! I even took pictures with them and it was nice meeting them in person. Lulz. xD

Well, i had my fair share of fun time with some familar faces exchanging normal conversation. Too bad i have to leave early that night due to personal matters, if not, i’ll stay back and even ask some of them out for 2nd round.

An event as such should have proper traffic management control, but i don’t see it. I don’t know why, but perhaps that’s not the main concern of the logistics team behind Arthur’s Day 2011 Celebration which was held just last night at Speed City @ Selangor Turf Club.

Some 20,000 people turned out at the event, a success nonetheless which had me wondering more on why didn’t they consider the venue as a possible headache transportation wise. One way in, one way out; if there were arrangements made to divert traffic, it won’t be an issue. =)

Rewind.

A night which i was looking forward into turned out to be something slightly different. In fact, it was something opposite. I was there with a college-mate. Reached there around 9.30PM. Just in time to catch Soler in action, one of the acts which i’m looking forward to. Excited much.

Not that i don’t support local acts, but to have an event starting as early as 7PM on a Friday night in Kuala Lumpur city is just A.BIG.JOKE. So yeah, like i said above, i was just in time to catch Soler. =)

Too bad Soler didn’t perform the songs which i’ve hoped for, of course, they were good. Loved their performances.

Didn’t pay attention on the acts after that as i was catching up with some people i bumped into then. At the same time, i was busy trying to get my sms out as some friends were on their way to the event and i have their tickets. Distractions.

It was when Taio Cruz came out around midnight that the crowd screamed out their lungs. The international superstar wasn’t really that good performing live. Personal opinion. No offense to his fans, i don’t really feel that his performance was stunning & worth the wait, just.normal.

Of course, at the end of the day, it was a free concert and i know i shouldn’t complaint but well, just stating my opinions. =)

Overall, the event was a success with 20,000 fans heading to a place out of Kuala Lumpur city in the name of Arthur. The acts lineup weren’t exactly spectacular, but it was good enough to end a Friday night welcoming an awesome weekend ahead. TOO BAD the party ended at midnight instead of the normal till late (2AM-3AM). That sucks.

Oh and the traffic jams. I heard there are people who got stuck in jam for 2 hours just to enter the venue around 11-12AM. Well sigh. Felt really bad asking a few friends to come where they were stuck in a jam ending up not able to attend the event. Blah. T_T

Good event, sucky venue. That’s all i can say. =)

Just came back from Hennessy Artistry at Malaysia International Exhibition & Convention Centre (MIECC) and it was pure awesomeness. Love Da Mouth 大嘴巴 and their performance!!!

Reached the place at around 10PM thanks to Ren for the ride there. Though i kinda miss Hennessy Artistry being held back at Bukit Kiara, i thought that this time round, everything was more organised. Quite a quick process in registration and it’s not TOO crowded with people & the private areas were great with much space.

Free flow of Hennessy glasses were served pass 12AM and that rocks!!

I was at zone O most of the time where there’re 4 private zones – V, S, O & P along with the main normal zone in the middle.

Had this courage all of a sudden to know one of the Hennessy girls working there and guess what, i got her number as well!! Bumped into Kate which i haven meet in ages and she was there since 5PM+ working all the way till the end of the party. Nice catching up!

Well, Da Mouth 大嘴巴 was the only reason i wanted to attend this specific Hennessy Artistry event of the year in Malaysia as i’ve missed them in several occasion when they were here in KL. The last time i watched them performing live was last year in this concert MY MUSIC 环球新声Live爆演唱会 and it was awesome!

Of course, this time round, it’s even better where they performed a couple of songs including Rock It, 国王皇后, 喇舌, Da Now一場, 没礼貌 as well as a mashed up of a few remixes.

It was obvious that the guys there were drooling over Aisa 爱纱 and the girls were drooling over Harry 怀秋. There were loads of cameras last night so i think by tonight you will be able to find more pictures of either one of them!!

Sorry if you’re looking for performances pictures/videos on the other artists but i didn’t really pay attention on them. =X

Remember this post where i promoted about the XPLAY Party that is happening in Kuala Lumpur? Well the party was last Saturday and i actually went to Sunway, the party was quite awesome i must say! Were you there? It was free you know!

Our very own DJ Lapsap did a great job that night by entertaining the crowd with their music but it was when DJ Yasmin & DJ Jessica came out that got the crowd screaming hard! Both the female DJs are from Indonesia and when they both collaborate with DJ Lapsap together, i actually thought that it was good!

First time partying with this people had me stoning from time to time but soon i somehow “move” a bit. Erm I was shy. Thanks to the free flow of beer i enjoyed the night quite a lot.

Was down in the midst of the crowd for quite a while but it was just too packed that we soon went back up and party from up above Haha. Crazy party by Xpax that is.

I often think that some specific people who rush in between 2 different events going from a place to the other is insanely out of their mind, there is no need to do so to make yourself so tiresome and exhausted at the end of the day and no it won’t impress people at all.

But just last Friday i was that insane person who did just what i described above.

Reached Sunway from work super early that day to get the passes for Hennessy Artistry event. Pass for me myself and some college friends who wanted to go very badly that is.

After hanging around at the press conference for a short while, i headed to 1Utama with Ren and Aaron for the St. Patrick’s Festival that is happening there.

St. Patrick’s Festival at 1Utama? It was super nice when i first see it with my own eyes. The atmosphere, the decoration and how they set up the whole place, awesomely planned!

It was beyond happening that night and i actually managed to bumped into some familiar faces in the sea of Malaysians celebrating an Irish Festival with Guinness and a wide range of western food.

Thomas, Alicia and Elaine were the few to start with.

The festival was quite magical with lots of character coming out from wonderland and such and the pictures i have couldn’t really show how awesome it was, perhaps you can google about it haha.

Nonetheless, the amount of people i bumped into went from a few to a handful of them and there were pretty little time to catch up actually as everyone was busy mingling here and there.

But hey i’m not complaining, it was nice meeting old friends and such and exchanging a few more words beyond the normal hi and bye really means a lot to me already.

Left the scene with fireworks and such with drops of rain falling already. It was around 10.30PM.

Back at Hennessy Artistry, the show have just started when the 3 of us got ourselves into the full packed place with lots of crazy people.

Sad to say, i Didn’t really pay much attention at the act as i was busy avoiding myself being a sardine, walking up and down getting glasses of Hennessy as well as hunting down my college friends who can’t be contacted with my network-less phone.

At the end of the day, Hennessy Artistry is happening but somehow i enjoyed myself more at St. Patrick’s Festival where it’s not so packed.

Looking forward to more exciting acts in the next few Hennessy Artistry in 2010!!

The night was pretty awesome after all with the company of friends who are crazy enough to party with.

Just last Saturday, a bunch of us was at Mont Kiara for Ren’s house warming party, from like 5pm till 2am past midnight, we were there almost the whole day “connecting” with each other.

It all started by the pool with a few girls in bikinis where we had food and drinks.then we proceed 22 floors above heading to Ren’s new house which he shifted in just months ago.

His place was like so comfortable till we got our own spots almost immediately and stayed there as though as its our house, all don’t know how to “shame shame” wan!!

The Satay dinner session that was just right downstairs, out of the Condominium that Ren stay, it was sinfully delicious and very fattening as well HAHA.

Then we went back up again, at 22th floor, back in Ren’s comfort zone where we spent time watching Mask Rider, played games that involved liquor and cards and etc.

I shall leave the rest of the night for you to imagine, with pictures if you want to at the album here.

Oh and how can i miss the Lou Sang session!!! The very first time this year for me and it was pretty special then, its always nice having Lou Sang session with a group of good friends and uh, we “lou” till the whole table was full of the “Sang”!!! Ganas!

and so it was the Carlsberg FHM Girl Next Door 2010 Private Party held all the way at Carlsberg own private party place. Thanks to the crazy girl Jun who hung like more than 1000 people on her Christmas tree (a facebook app. contest) last year, a bunch of us got to attend this exclusively private party with the FHM Girl Next Door 2010 girls!

Yes all of us get a chance there talking to the FHM girls face to face and of course to admire how beautiful they are. NO LAH, THEY WEREN’T IN BIKINIS IN THE PARTY!

Quite a number of familiar faces were there and i think that was why we got a bit “woohoo” near the end of the party. (refer to the video above)

To my delight, the event was pretty awesome with the food and free flow of beer provided (i like Carlsberg Gold Hehehe) throughout the whole night, there were games session which i missed as i was late but heck knowing that the FHM girls were just a few steps away partying with you is one satisfying fact.

I know i’m easy to please but eh look at the emcee in the picture above, even she’s pretty!!

Of course, the balloon part is the most entertaining one of the night!

All thanks to Jun for the invite to this party but too bad lah i have no balls to talk to any of the FHM Girls.

I can just look, see and STARE. o.O

Seriously when i first knew about it over a phone conversation, i wasn’t that shock. All i knew that i was going to spend my New Year’s Eve night at a friend’s place and there’ll be lok lok.

It was only when i was there THAT i had my eyes wide big where the lok lok vehicle was parked in Aaron’s house.

Having food that could serve up to 70 people that night where there are only like, 20+ people there, that was quite a feast i tell you!!

Not that i frequent lok lok along the streets but it was awesome choosing whatever i want without looking at the colors at the end of the sticks.

Oh and ya, it was Aaron‘s birthday as well, on the 31st of December each year, so awesome that the whole world celebrated his birthday with fireworks, concerts and all.

So yea, that was what i did on New Year’s Eve, one of a kind of party and i guess i won’t be doing that any soon, FOR SURE!

Eating that whole lot of lok lok in one day proves to be a little bit too much for me, heck we didn’t even finish half the food there.
