Special Appearance of Jolin Tsai 蔡依林 on stage the highlight of Jay Chou 周杰伦 2010 The Era World Tour Concert at Taipei Taiwan

Do you know, the kick start of the World Cup 2010 also marks the very first concert of Jay Chou’s The Era World Tour 2010 周杰伦2010台湾台北超时代世界巡回演唱会 at Taipei Taiwan?
The World Tour which cost 1 Billion TWD 新台幣 in total was being reported that the whole tour will bring in 8.7 billion TWD 新台幣 in total. With the fast selling of tickets within hours/days in other countries, this world tour is already a guaranteed success.
The first concert of the world tour started with the display of a huge 3D image of Jay Chou 周杰伦 himself appearing up in the air in full white playing a white guitar decorated with wings, the 360 Degrees 3D effect above the stage used 2000 LEDs to create the special effect. Like hologram we see in Startrek/futuristic movies.

Various artists attended the concert over the weekend showing their support in Jay Chou 周杰伦. Hong Kong singer/artist Eason 陈奕迅 who was there was randomly call up on stage for a spontaneous collaboration which got the crowd cheering.
Lara of 南拳妈妈 as well as Cindy Yen 袁咏琳 were some of the official performing guest artist/singer of the concert performing with Jay Chou 周杰伦.
Jay Chou 周杰伦, the man of the concert first appeared in the form of 3D special effect image and various costumes were used through out the concert. From Knight to Dragon Warrior, Prince to Hip Hop like costumes and many more.
He’s a man who could always performed and show the world what he’s capable of, especially when he’s performing live, in front of his fans, if you’ve watched his performance in his past concerts(Attending it or Watching it on Videos) you’ll know what i mean.
The various transformation, the exaggerating opening with special effects 3D technology, the awesome lighting with lasers and spotlights, the staging and the dance moves, all of those were part what made his concert looked more perfect.
but the highlight of his 3 nights concert in Taipei, Taiwan 台湾台北 was far more bigger than any of the things mentioned above!
Jolin Tsai 蔡依林 who was linked romantically with Jay Chou 周杰伦 all these years being reported numerous times by the Media appeared to be the ultimate special guest of the concert. The ONE and only shocking point of the concert which got the fans going ecstatic was the moment she appeared. Watch the video below!

Totally have no idea that are they together as couple, but one thing i know and i’m sure of is Jay Chou 周杰伦 sure knows how to reward his loyal fans and surprise them with the most unexpected things.
It’s already 10 years down the road since he first launched his first album in Taiwan and he’s gone down a long road reaching the status on where he is now. Undeniable, he’s one talented man, a superman who do not need to fly.*thumbs up*
How i wish i could be there in the concert at Taipei Taiwan.

2010 MAYDAY 五月天變形DNA無限放大版世界巡迴大馬演唱會

Fans of MAYDAY 五月天 waving their Blue LED sticks the whole night!
It was a freaking awesome concert performance by MAYDAY 五月天 from Taiwan 台湾 just yesterday night at Bukit Jalil Putra Indoor Stadium. With a great concept behind the tour, the H-Shape staging and lighting effects further completed the 3 hours long singing, shouting, jumping and partying between the fans and MAYDAY 五月天.
Was there like 2 hours before the concert and there were a few hundreds of MAYDAY 五月天 fans lining up to get into the venue already. Heard there’s fans all the way from Taiwan who’ve waited at the entrance since 10AM. Hardcore!
Thanks to Shu Jian for the tickets, we bumped into Stella and Isabell before entering the stadium. =)
After the opening act by some local artists, Della Ding 丁噹 came out as guest Artist performing 我是一只小小鸟 and the theme song 我爱他 from the drama 下一站，幸福. Her powerful vocals definitely had me adoring her when she sang the chorus part of the song. I knew she was good in singing when i saw her on Taiwan entertainment programs as well as when i listened to her album, but experiencing live performance is always a different case.
When the 4 level high backdrop came down revealing the stage and MAYDAY 五月天 performing, the fans screamed louder than ever waving their Blue LED sticks and some even started jumping straight away.
The atmosphere was wonderful with 10 out of 10 adoring fans singing along every single song that was performed up on stage.
The members of MAYDAY 五月天, Ashin 阿信 (Lead Singer), Monster 怪獸 and Stone 石頭 (Guitarist), Masa 瑪莎 (Bassist), Guan You 冠佑 (Drummer) displayed their music talent rocking the stadium for 3 whole hours.
The level of atmosphere was brought to a whole new level with the fans all high and hyped up when the 3 level tall Transformer-like robot being revealed on the stage while MAYDAY 五月天 performed D.N.A. Pretty impressive stage set up by the organizing parties.
The concert showed a few video clips featuring a fight between Evil and Good. The videos included Transformer-like robots and the graphics was the same as Transformers movie itself. We were like in a concert+cinema altogether watching a concert in a movie/movie in a concert happening in front of us and it was the first time i’ve attended such a concert. Thumbs up!
With a positive message shared by MAYDAY 五月天 in this World Tour, i must admit that i was kinda moved and well, am happy that i could sing along through like 70% of the songs being performed. LOL
Ashin 阿信 of MAYDAY 五月天 is a great singer and i enjoyed the most when he sang 擁抱 with Della Ding 丁噹. The combination of 2 wonderful voice together, awesome!
Undeniable, MAYDAY 五月天 is one of the very few rare bands/group that made it this long in the Chinese Entertainment industry still surviving and through the 11 years flashback video being displayed on screen above the stage, i could somehow understand how they succeeded in capturing the hearts of millions of fans all over the fans in the past decade.
Apart from the talent they had, it was the positivity they had as well as well as the energy from this group that consist of 5 members. Am grateful for the tickets as i managed to witness such a great performance by one of the best current band/group from Taiwan 台湾.

Kelly Clarkson All I Ever Wanted Tour Concert Live in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia 2010

I always think that a singer who is capable of performing live singing a whole list of songs in one night itself facing thousands of fans is a REAL singer.
I mean like there are singers out there who sound “nice” on radio or their album but when they perform live, they just can’t seem to impress if you know what i mean.
Upon leaving the stadium that night, i do think that Kelly Clarkson is one of those singers that have what it takes and she really deserve all the credits with the achievements she accomplished all these years, one dedicated singer with real talent.
So yea, the first American Idol champion, Kelly Clarkson was in Kuala Lumpur last Sunday performing in front of 16,000 adoring fans at the Bukit Jalil National Stadium and i’m gonna repeat what i said in my previous post again that IT WAS A BLAST!!!
Reached around 6PM++ on that day along with Kel Li and Nigel and we thought that we were early, but there were already pretty much people lining up at the queue to get into the stadium. Hardcore fans!
There were booths there selling Kelly Clarkson’s merchandise including CDs, DVDs, shirts and etc.
Entering the stadium getting to our seats waiting for the concert to start is always a sweaty annoying period…
but when Jaclyn Victor, our very own 1st Malaysian Idol came out and performed in the opening act of the concert, i had those negative moments behind my back instantly. In fact, i thought that she made us Malaysians proud. Her powerful vocals gained cheers from the crowds where she sang a medley of local well known songs.
Suki (Winner of One In A Million 2006) came out later on with a RM15k gown displaying her violin skills followed by her vocal performance.
It was when Kelly Clarkson came on stage with her first song “All I Ever Wanted” that the crowd starting going crazy shouting out loud from their hearts with many of them started singing along with the 1st American Idol Champion.
For a singer to perform live with most of the fans singing along is one of the most beautiful thing that could happen and when Kelly Clarkson pointed the mic towards the crowd during the 6th song “Breakaway“, everyone sang along. Loud and Clear.
but what i felt more heart warming was the birthday song dedicated to Kelly Clarkson later on by a group of people from the upper tier. Too bad the song wasn’t complete and the band weren’t aware of it where they started playing their instruments in the middle of the birthday song.
However, Kelly heard it and quickly thanked the crowd and went performing the next song immediately. Talking about professionalism that is! It was Kelly’s birthday one day before the concert. =)
Kelly performed 22 songs in total and showed the Malaysian crowd an impressive performance with her dominant and powerful vocals but of course, part of the credit have goes to her band members as well as the backup singers. I kinda love the parts when the DJ came in as an intro to a few songs though.

Just came back from Kelly Clarkson All I Ever Wanted Tour Live in Malaysia 2010 concert and IT WAS A BLAST!!!!

Awesome people i met there!!!!
22 songs in total with the last song ‘My Life Would Suck Without You’ rocking the stadium where everyone sang along ending the concert with a high note. Everyone was having a big wide smile on their face when they left their seats. =D
By the way. according to Hot Magazine, Suki who was one of the performer for the opening act of this concert wore a 15k gown!! 15k…. Crazy…
Anyways, Sorry yah, no Kelly Clarkson pictures yet because i can’t take nice pictures of her from the place i was sitting at just now, will blog a detail blogpost when i get the pictures =)

Woohoo!! It’s an awesome month. I’ve met 2 awesome girl in the first 2 weeks of March and i’m gonna meet the most awesome girl next weekend!!!!
Please forgive me for my stupidity but anyways, i just came back from a concert, an awesomely energetic one with impressive vocal showcase from May’n of Macross Frontier fame all the way from Japan here in Kuala lumpur indicating her first stop of the May’n BIG WAAAAAVE!! Asia Tour 2010!!
I really wonder that did any other Japan pop/mainstream singer came to Malaysia to perform before or not but this is the first time i’ve watch a Japan singer performing and i’m more than happy to be there!!
With a whole crowd of hardcore fans waiting there since God knows what time, the concert only started around 8pm where i already see these bunch of people at around 6.30PM.
The lightnings was just nice and with the massive amount of sticks waving through out the whole night, i was happy that i was like 3-4 row in front and not behind.
Didn’t realize that she WAS THAT cute when i went on YouTube to find her videos, i had like 5 seconds stand still moment stoning there admiring the one on stage performing the songs that got her the fame she deserved!
Alright so i was told that we bloggers should not post any pictures of May’n taken and we need to get the official pictures from them which explains why i blurred some of her pictures above but hey i figured out that some fan would want to see her so there you go…

So yea it was quite an awesome end to this very weekend i suppose and i’m now looking forward to the next weekend.
Cheers to May’n and every single singers from Japan, i somehow believe that the singers from Japan have this sorta magic that could capture people’s heart even though some of them might not even understand their language.

If you’ve watched the Macross Frontier anime, you’ll definitely hear the song in the video above and yes the singer herself is going to have a concert here in KL. The last time she was around was when she had a concert in the neighbor country Singapore back in 2008 and it attracted a lot of fans!

American Idol Season 8 Winner – Kris Allen Performing Live at The Gardens, Kuala Lumpur Malaysia

Allen was born from Jacksonville, Arkansas, to Kimberly (née Wood) and Neil Allen. He is the elder of two sons; his younger brother, Daniel, is a college cheer-leading coach. Allen is a Christian and served as assistant music director at the non-denominational New Life Church in both Conway, Arkansas, and Little Rock, Arkansas. Allen has participated in missionary work around the world, including in Burma, Morocco, Mozambique, South Africa, Spain, and Thailand.

So, it was Kris Allen’s live in Kuala Lumpur Music Showcase just 2 nights ago at The Gardens Midvalley where Kris Allen rocked the house with 800 music fans shouting and screaming throughout the night!
An expected delay at the start of the showcase where the emcees were there to hype up the crowd with returning screaming for Kris Allen proves that the fan base here in Malaysia are really really crazy about him.

Kris Allen came out on stage that night and responded to the fans with an impressive display of his vocal talent that got him the winning title of American Idol Season 8. I consider myself lucky to be among the first few row right in front of him where i really enjoyed the performance.
Not even ONE bit of disappointment!! =)
and i must say that the band behind was really good, they deserve as much credits as Kris Allen that night where if not because of them, the music won’t be that good where i won”t be able to totally enjoy the show .
It was the first time an American Idol winner performed live in Malaysia and i’m more than glad to be part of it and of course, i would love to see more of such awesome performance be it by international artists or local ones!
With that, i insist that you watch the video below with Kris Allen performing Come Together, the video have hit 1.5k hits so far where some of the fans loved it to max, you’ll love it too!
