Awesome night it was. Avicii’s setlist was good and he exceeded my expectations! Reached pretty late last night at Heineken Thirst 2012 which was around 11pm but I had lotsa fun rockin’ to the tunes with a few familiar faces.

YES it was an epic experience….. Okay I’m too lazy to talk about the details. Up next, pictures!!

XPLAY party which was held at Aquasonic just last Saturday night was fun!! Through out the time at the party, I was keeping myself busy focusing on the free flow of beer as well as enjoying the awesome beats all thanks to DJ Yasmin from Indonesia!

The amount of excitement planned for this specific XPLAY is huge. There were loads of interesting happenings apart from having 3 hot DJs spinning for us. First, there was a dance performance, then the fire spitter show came in followed by another group of dancers dressed in black/purple entertaining the crowd.

However, the most impressive part of the night must be the laser show. The visual experience from the laser show was definitely the highlight of XPLAY party at Aquasonic last Saturday!

As mentioned above, 3 female DJs were there for the night with their respective decks - DJ MISS CHANEL/DJ YASMIN/DJ DEBORAH. Both DJ Miss Chanel and DJ Deborah was just okay where DJ Yasmin stood out with more cheers from the crowd.

Not sure if it’s because of the difference in appearance or due to the different set of playlist they have, but I must say that the night still ROCKED!

DJ Yasmin was there to spin till late night and I enjoyed myself catching up with a few people then. Managed to get a pic with her at the end of the night. Thanks to XPAX for the invites and I had fun, can’t wait to go to another XPLAY party!

Last Friday was kinda fun. I drove a lot and went to a few places after work. Joined in the celebration of Arthur’s Day at 2 locations – Laundry & Beer Factory where I watched the performances of SONAONE, Busco & Justin Lo 側田.

The celebration was actually held at 3 different locations. Thousands of Guinness fans gathered at the Beer Factory, Sunway Giza, Laundry Bar – The Curve and SOULedOUT Sri Hartamas with a whole list of performing artiste to entertain everyone.

Had rounds of free food and free beer the whole night, awesome! Anyway, Justin Lo 側田 from Hong Kong has always been my favorite singer since his album debut back then & I was delighted to catch him performing live at Arthur’s Day Celebration.

It was a night I enjoyed a lot. Thank you Guinness!

Was delighted to get the chance to step into the JOHNNIE WALKER® Black Circuit Lounge at MAEPS in Serdang which happened just last month, on 21 March. The idea on partying on a Wednesday night was pretty crazy but at the end of the day, I had a good night myself!

On the day itself, I reached quite early. The complimentary valet service was a surprise for me. The crowd wasn’t there yet and I attended the press conference there where they brought on McLaren F1 driver Jenson Button to talk about his journey with F1. He also talked about the “Join The Pact” campaign by Johnnie Walker, calling fans to pledge to Never Drink and Drive

With Jenson Button, we were brought into the stylish and sophisticated Formula 1 lifestyle inside the Black Circuit Lounge.

Following Jenson Button into the main hall where the party happens, the emcees announced the arrival of Johnnie Walker Responsible Drinking Ambassador. He went up on stage & shared a bit on his experience as well as promoting the act of responsible drinking. Later on, 2 lucky fans had a chance to interact with their favourite F1 driver & they got his signature as well!

I on the other hand was starting to drink. LOL. The appearance of Jenson Button was short but the party went on and I was more than happy to bump into a few familiar faces that night. Johnnie Walker impressed me as they bring exciting experiences to the Black Circuit Lounge. The whole Johnnie Walker experience that night was an unforgettable one.

Some of the  guests there got to experience the Drive Of A Lifetime virtual simulation.

Apart from partying hard & socializing around, I noticed that tons of people went up to this machine to take a picture. Loved the idea of it when I knew it a few years back and the people were quite exciting in getting their pictures taken there. Did I try it out? Lol. I won’t comment further on that!

Tom Jones the Global Brand Ambassador was there to take guests through an exclusive whisky mentor /tasting session and I was lucky enough to be there when he made it available for us to celebrate the richness of gold.

The rest of the night was crazy. All the DJs - Nadine Ann Thomas, DJ Dim Sum, DJ Agent Smith and DJ Politik were rocking the scene and the tunes were amazingly awesome. Tons of people were dancing to the beats and it was quite a sight watching a sea of people enjoying themselves. =D

Tons of celebrities were there at The JOHNNIE WALKER® Black Circuit Lounge as well!!

There was even a GOLD CELEBRATION MOMENT where it began with a specially put together soundtrack during Smith Agent Smith’s set. Dancers clad in gold dresses were up on stage dancing to the tunes. Later on, the brand ambassadors went up on stage to present the Gold Label Reserve. Do you know that there was a Gold Label Reserve for every table there in the event? Yes, AWESOME is the word! =D

Had a good time, free flow of drinks totally ROCK my night & of course. Good company. =)

An event as such should have proper traffic management control, but i don’t see it. I don’t know why, but perhaps that’s not the main concern of the logistics team behind Arthur’s Day 2011 Celebration which was held just last night at Speed City @ Selangor Turf Club.

Some 20,000 people turned out at the event, a success nonetheless which had me wondering more on why didn’t they consider the venue as a possible headache transportation wise. One way in, one way out; if there were arrangements made to divert traffic, it won’t be an issue. =)

Rewind.

A night which i was looking forward into turned out to be something slightly different. In fact, it was something opposite. I was there with a college-mate. Reached there around 9.30PM. Just in time to catch Soler in action, one of the acts which i’m looking forward to. Excited much.

Not that i don’t support local acts, but to have an event starting as early as 7PM on a Friday night in Kuala Lumpur city is just A.BIG.JOKE. So yeah, like i said above, i was just in time to catch Soler. =)

Too bad Soler didn’t perform the songs which i’ve hoped for, of course, they were good. Loved their performances.

Didn’t pay attention on the acts after that as i was catching up with some people i bumped into then. At the same time, i was busy trying to get my sms out as some friends were on their way to the event and i have their tickets. Distractions.

It was when Taio Cruz came out around midnight that the crowd screamed out their lungs. The international superstar wasn’t really that good performing live. Personal opinion. No offense to his fans, i don’t really feel that his performance was stunning & worth the wait, just.normal.

Of course, at the end of the day, it was a free concert and i know i shouldn’t complaint but well, just stating my opinions. =)

Overall, the event was a success with 20,000 fans heading to a place out of Kuala Lumpur city in the name of Arthur. The acts lineup weren’t exactly spectacular, but it was good enough to end a Friday night welcoming an awesome weekend ahead. TOO BAD the party ended at midnight instead of the normal till late (2AM-3AM). That sucks.

Oh and the traffic jams. I heard there are people who got stuck in jam for 2 hours just to enter the venue around 11-12AM. Well sigh. Felt really bad asking a few friends to come where they were stuck in a jam ending up not able to attend the event. Blah. T_T

Good event, sucky venue. That’s all i can say. =)

It was an awesome night! The Johnnie Walker Black Circuit Lounge 2011 Party last Saturday, 9th April 2011 which happened around Seri Kembangan/The Mines area just beside Palace of Golden Horses Hotel!

It was quite a last minute decision and well, a BIG THANKS to both Kar Wai & Shirley, i headed to the event and reached at around 10.30pm. =D

From the mouth of some friends, this is the 2nd time there’s a Johnnie Walker party in Malaysia and it’s quite an exclusive one which is not open to public.

Similar to H-Artistry/Hennessy Artistry but it’s definitely more awesome than that!

Finding myself with endless free flow of drinks even up till 2AM in the morning makes this event really a party that everyone could enjoy to the fullest. Not to mention, there were quite a lot of funny moments watching some familiar faces going wild dancing along the music!

Featuring the likes of DJ Enferno, DJ Sophia Lin, DVDJ I-Tek & DJ Faith, the night was filled with awesome spinning tunes and they were really good. Totally loving it! Of course, the party won’t be awesome without familiar faces, what’s a party if you’re all alone? =)

Just came back from Hennessy Artistry at Malaysia International Exhibition & Convention Centre (MIECC) and it was pure awesomeness. Love Da Mouth 大嘴巴 and their performance!!!

Reached the place at around 10PM thanks to Ren for the ride there. Though i kinda miss Hennessy Artistry being held back at Bukit Kiara, i thought that this time round, everything was more organised. Quite a quick process in registration and it’s not TOO crowded with people & the private areas were great with much space.

Free flow of Hennessy glasses were served pass 12AM and that rocks!!

I was at zone O most of the time where there’re 4 private zones – V, S, O & P along with the main normal zone in the middle.

Had this courage all of a sudden to know one of the Hennessy girls working there and guess what, i got her number as well!! Bumped into Kate which i haven meet in ages and she was there since 5PM+ working all the way till the end of the party. Nice catching up!

Well, Da Mouth 大嘴巴 was the only reason i wanted to attend this specific Hennessy Artistry event of the year in Malaysia as i’ve missed them in several occasion when they were here in KL. The last time i watched them performing live was last year in this concert MY MUSIC 环球新声Live爆演唱会 and it was awesome!

Of course, this time round, it’s even better where they performed a couple of songs including Rock It, 国王皇后, 喇舌, Da Now一場, 没礼貌 as well as a mashed up of a few remixes.

It was obvious that the guys there were drooling over Aisa 爱纱 and the girls were drooling over Harry 怀秋. There were loads of cameras last night so i think by tonight you will be able to find more pictures of either one of them!!

Last Thursday after Adam Lambert’s concert, i headed to Coco Banana at Sunway for this Horeca event named Monstrocity to check out the cocktails that is available there.

The place was pretty packed when i was there but i think i missed out a few performances already and so i went straight to the bar to get my cocktails which was specially made for the attendees that night.

There were four main ones being featured which includes Jack The Rasper, Peachy Temptation, Sweet Sensation and Spirit Of Passion. Seriously i don’t know how to describe it to you but i’m quite amazed with all 4 of them with my favorite one being Peachy Temptation.

Yes i can’t resist the temptation and i somehow think that the standard of Horeca have gone up already since last year when they first have such events in Kuala Lumpur.

Oh well anyways, i bumped into a few familiar faces at Coco Banana and here are some of their pictures!! =D
