Restaurant Chardin Sea View Seafood Village @ Port Dickson
Nov 20th
It was like a month ago that i went to this place for dinner with a few close friends while we were at Port Dickson for a break over that weekend.

Restoran Chardin Sea View Sea Food Village at Port Dickson.

We were pretty clueless that time and drove around for like approx. 10 minutes and just decided to dine at this very place when we passed by the restaurant.

We were hungry and it seems like a decent place to us with lots of customers there then.

Did the ordering within 5 minutes and started taking pictures hmm.

The girls in the picture above are Melissa, WeiRu, Mun and May. Chee Hwa refuse to take a picture with me and Andy in the second picture because he thinks he’s too handsome for us.
So right, straight to the point. The food!

Seafood Taufu (Fried Taufu with Seafood Toppings) 3/5
I love this dish just mainly because i love both Taufu & Seafood!! Frankly speaking if you ask me how it taste like, it was rather plain where the taste wasn’t fully brought out when it was cooked. There were prawns and eggs along with the Taufu.

Fried Prawn Paste in Butter Style 4/5
This on the other hand was quite tasty the prawn paste were well fried and i like it especially because it was fried with these curry leaves that made the whole dish smells and taste much nicer. Then again, i like it wet style where it wasn’t very very dry where some restaurants will serve.

Steam Sek Pan Fish 3/5
Alright for a seafood restaurant like this, i was actually expecting for the fish to be a bit more fresh but to me it doesn’t seem so, anyways, it was pretty edible of course and it was just as normal as any other steam Sek Pan fish out there. Not much difference.

Fried Kangkung with Belacan 4/5
Quite a well known Kangkung dish in Malaysia i must say. With just Belacan and Garli, this very dish is among one of the favourite dish among Malaysians. A simple dish that is not that simple to prepare where the Belacan must be prepared well and i think that this one i had in Port Dickson was not bad at all!

Siong Tong Lala (Clams) 3.5/5
One of the more common way of cooking clams and the freshness of the Lala was still okay in my opinion. The ginger slices made the “soup” tasty and i was enjoying the soup more than the clams if you ask me. There were a few other hungry friends that time so i didn’t manage to get alot of these then Haha.

Black Pepper Deer Meat 2.5/5
Last but not least, we had this. Quite a spicy dish i must say that they had too much black pepper on it. I had just a few piece then i was already drinking 2 cups of water down my stomach. Not like we requested it to be extra spicy then. I believe this one would be a fantastic dish if not because of its over spiciness. Does such word exist? Lol

So that’s about it. Overall the place was pretty good, nice environment and atmosphere but the food was not up to standard i think. I know that Port Dickson isn’t that much of a tourist attraction anymore where they might get lesser customers out from the town but i think that the standard should be there then.
However, the whole trip down to Port Dickson was awesome! Read about it here. =D
Oh and here’s the price for the food.

Reasonable? Hmm

How was your weekend?
Aug 23rd
I’m still pretty disturbed with this at the moment. Not to mention having a few other personal stuffs i have to deal with.
but I’m really glad that in these days, i still have people around that i could talk freely with and share stuffs that’s a little bit more personal. These people will just get lesser and lesser along the years.
I didn’t even expect to get some hometown specialties from a fellow ex-college mate.

Thanks to YewJoe for that.
Compared to the eventful weekends i had sometimes, this very weekend was quite a quiet one for me. A peaceful one, spending more times with friends from other circle.
Going out to yumcha sessions, playing 2 games of Dota on a Friday night.
Then its Saturday already, it feels good playing basketball again after being absent for almost a month, not to say i’m pretty good in it, i enjoyed the run and sweat seeing the people again after being MIA for a month.
then, there’s this stupid event which i don’t event want to elaborate on attending it with a few of the usual. Most stupid event ever i call that.
Watched the match between Manchester United and Wigan during the night.

It was quite a roller coaster ride watching the match resulting in 5 goals scored by ManUtd in the second half with a sucky first half. Nothing much to boast about being a ManUtd fan as its only Wigan where ManUtd lost to Burnley in the last match but heck, it was still nice watching them scoring.
Watched this movie later in the night. AGAIN.

and the next thing i know, we’re up on Genting already. Somewhere i wished to go and relax since end of last month.

Had dim sum for breakfast after the random Genting trip. That’s about it, my weekend. At some certain extend, i’m a happy person and having fun in life, but at the same time, i’m kinda struggling when it comes to reality, breaking out from the whole picture and going to the next picture seems so hard to me at the moment.

Right?
and yea, Happy Birthday to you! =)
*and all the best to a friend who’s going to Bangladesh to work tmr, though its just 2 weeks.

After some random and pretty last minute planning, a few of us DGMB-ians gathered together and had a house-visitation session from here to there, up and down within Klang Valley.

Since Yatz have some hamsters over at his place, the girls got a bit excited and started playing around with the hamsters… Some of us started playing cards which involve money…

and AGAIN, its GENTING!!
Jan 12th
I almost forgot about this. How could i. All YeeHou’s fault. *points at yeehou*
Lolx. Okay la its me. Well, i’m always fast at posting stuffs up given that i’m provided the right stuffs on hand which is most of the time, the photos. So when i get the pictures late, i’ll just leave the post behind and leave it there for ever. Yea Forever till i digg it out to blog. Gah.

So yea, this happened not long ago actually. To be exact, one day after Christmas day of 2008. It was some sorta emo season that week i assume as many people around me were emo-ing.
Okay, before i start talking about it. Let us rewind back time.
In November 2008, i had a totally random trip to Genting with Andrew & Steph. 3 Bloggers.
Then early December 2008, another random trip to Genting with Tock, Sue & Zoe. 4 Bloggers.

then on the 26th of December 2008. There were like 6 of us bloggers heading up to Genting.
Hou.Tock.Firdy.Ren.Zoe.Me
we took a group picture!!
and then
we headed to the arcade place @ Genting.
yea….
nothing much i can say though… As we were getting faces like this one below…
from everyone that passes by….
lolx. A pretty productionless night with us ending up yawning now and then.
Headed back down to KL around 4-5am if i’m not mistaken. Lolx.
So much for the last random trip to Genting huh? =D
4 Bloggers, 2 Girls , 2 Guys, GENTING!!
Dec 9th
At first i was just planning to watch a movie, and so i called a few people and managed to get to these 3 people – Tock, Sue, Zoe.

So both me and Tock headed to Subang to get Sue & Zoe but ended up being late, and so, we abandoned the movie plan and headed to somewhere near and had a “Yum Cha” session only to find out that the place will be close at 1am.

and so after the session, we had this wicked plan of going up to Genting and i was just giving random ideas about it. The other 3 person were okay with that and so…
we went on with the random last minute plan..

Of course, there was nothing much to do up there, we just walked from left to right and here to there and yea…
we did take lots of pictures…

like Zoe, she was all excited on this random short trip and tried things like..

reaching for the stars…
as well as..

trying to touch the sun….

another picture of Zoe trying to touch the sun and actually its the lamp post along the street…

that’s Sue and Zoe sitting on a rock with the “Sun” behind….
and actually, talking about Genting, there’s like hundreds and thousands of scary tales being spread wildly and actually….

we did encounter one ourselves up there…. (no not the picture above, thats me)
while we were walking along the street and we reached till a place where there’s like a mini garden, we saw this….. o.O
and we quickly took photos, silently…..

and camwhored there wtf…. and so this is why u see such effect in this picture above….
Actually no la we didn’t encounter one ourselves, that was Sue standing there in the picture above…. but seriously some places in Genting in the middle of the night is pretty creepy….
Oh and the all excited Zoe didn’t stop being excited when we’re out of the buildings up on Genting…
while we’re inside… she…

tried to be Wong Fei Hung

and a Pole Dancer…….
and meanwhile…… i was

trying to talk to a horse there… or maybe you can say i am trying to kiss the horse….. =X

and Tock did this….
we were influenced by Zoe i guessed….. and the only normal one there was Sue…
we walked and chat and laughed and then we started getting thirsty and tired…

so me and Tock went into one of the Casino to get Milo/OrangeJuice/TehTarik for ourselves as well as the girls… Lolx.. yeahhh we’re cheap…. mehhhh!!

Zoe cant go into the casino lolx
continue walking and doing stupid stuffs and ended up heading to

Starbucks Coffee

and i went straight like that…

AND ZOE IS STILL EXCITED!!! +_+

it was a pretty funny trip…. lolx.. like seriously…

the 4 of us had fun!! =D
and yea, it was just last Friday night, the 5th of December.
and seriously, there’s like something between me and Genting lolx,
the last time i went up there were 3 of us bloggers… now 4 of us bloggers….
Maybe i should make this a series of….
