Share2009 – ITS BEEN A CRAZY YEAR!

I think this is like the first time i go through the blog posts in a year to come out with a summary post like this to wrap up what happened this whole year. Less eventful compared to 2008 but as crazy as ever!
So yah here it is…
January 2009
Started my year attending this Nokia5800 Xpressmusic launch at Pavilion with a whole bunch of bloggers surrounded with food & drinks and of course, the phones.
One day after the launch, i went to Zouk for Armin Van Buuren with the usuals.
and OH we celebrated Yat’s birthday at Zouk! When he still have his long hair ahaks!!!
Not bad for the start of a new year huh?
February 2009
It was one of the very, uber, paling, hen, sangat, most awesome-est CNY ever for me meeting lots of friends but sad to say that my Ang Pow money didn’t really increase thanks to the OH-My-GAWD-RECESSION-IS-HERE tragedy.
Chinese New Year 2009 rawks!
Then uh oh the last exam in TARC was in Feb!! Now only i remember!! LOL!! That kinda marks my last college days then.
Celebrated Zoe’s birthday and of course Valentine’s Day, how could i miss that day <3 !!
By end of Feb, i received one of the best letter in my mailbox with one of the best news in my life!!!
March 2009
March was. Hmmm.
Going overseas for the first time in my life skipping one of the most important birthday ever for this dream trip to Old Trafford. Quite a hard decision if you ask me!! I won this trip thanks to Mister Potato. =)
Appeared(not featured!) on TheStar newspaper for the first time as well LOL along with Malaysia’s top blogger Kennysia if you can identify us the picture haha thanks to the trip to Old Trafford then.
2 first time in a month. What more can i ask for?

Apart from that, i attended Zouk’s Fantasy Five and had a few sessions with the usuals for Nuffnang Music Bash ’09.
April 2009
Being in some kick ass costume for the first time appearing in front of a bunch of bloggers seems like quite an awesome experience huh? No it wasn’t!! I was freaking nervous!! It was the Nuffnang Music Bash ’09 on the 4th of April.
Then there was this Quiksilver Roxy fashion show at Mid Valley and the Launch of MINT Magazine.
Oh and the best thing that happened this month was DGMB 1st Anniversary!! Some awesome people who gathered together in some random Bloggers Movie Meet back in 2008. You guys still rock my socks!!
May 2009
Started my May 2009 being surrounded by Angels and Devils thanks to LG Haha.
Went to this concert MY MUSIC 环球新声live爆 that featured artists such as 梁文音 Rachel Liang,高以爱 Alisa Galper,神木與瞳 Y2J,魏如昀 Queen Wei,潘嘉丽 Kelly Poon,大嘴巴 Da mouth and 方炯镔 A Bin! It was a blast!! <3

Graduated from college!! One of the most important day in my life. =)

Had the chance to catch Manchester United playing against Malaysia at Bukit Jalil twice, here & here!

and got into this Car Accident which i was thankful i was not dead!
Oh and we celebrated Nigel’s birthday in this month!!

Went to watch Eason Chan 陈奕迅 concert live in Sunway Lagoon Surf Beach, just one day after the MTV World Stage took place on the same exact stage!
Had fun decorating KL Monorail in some flashmob held in conjuction with Malaysia’s national day. Merdeka!
September 2009
Decided to stop blogging at joshuaongys.blogspot.com and got my own domain up and running, like finally!
Escaped Malaysia and headed to Bangkok to meet Tata Young. Some really crazy press conference at an AIRPORT RUNWAY!! =X
Celebrated a couple of birthdays as well.
October 2009
June 2009 is an important month for me as my graduation day falls in that specific month. Then in October 2009 itself, she graduated! Am extremely proud then. =)
Apart from that,
H-Artistry at Quattro was the bomb!
Caught some Playboy Bunnies at Midvalley and celebrated Miss Goh’s birthday!!
One of the best trip that ever happened, though its just Port Dickson. =)

Posted up this blog post which created quite a buzz weeks later. Thanks to some specific Drama King, CEO of a few companies kononnya. So that’s WHAT a CEO does! Extremely amusing i must say.
Attended Youth Engagement Summit 2009 thanks to a friend. Inspiring speakers but not engaging enough i thought.

DECEMBER IS AWESOME!!! THE MOST HAPPENING/DRAMATIC MONTH OF MY ENTIRE LIFE!!

First i won a phone.
Then, i went to Old Trafford for the second time in 2009 to watch a live match again! This time with VIP treatment, won this trip Thanks to Smirnoff. =)

Went on court and defended myself because of the accident back in July which i insisted that i was the victim refusing to pay the summon. Quite stubborn i must say but it resulted and ended in quite a funny way. =)
Met Taiwan Supermodel Lin Chi Ling in person!!!
Had quite a birthday thanks to Facebook and of course the people around me!
Had one of the most fun Christmas party in recent years!!
and spending time with her <3.
Quite a crazy year right!! Putting aside the events, birthdays and such, the craziest stuffs that have happened this year must have been watching Manchester United playing in front of my eyes for a total of 4 times. 2 in Bukit Jalil, Malaysia and 2 in Old Trafford, Manchester.
Apart from those good things i’ve been through, i had shits as well. Thanks to the Drama King who wants to sue me as well as my stubbornness in not giving in to the policemen who insisted that i was wrong in the accident back in July.
These 2 shits were the biggest ones i’ve faced this year and of course there were other shitty stuffs that i didn’t really share it out here in this blog and it will remain there behind my back when 2009 ends.
Nevertheless, this year have been a fruitful one with a few lessons learned and hopefully i could grasp them all sealing it in my brain. 2009 is kinda like the last year i can go around making a fool out of myself being stupid doing crazy stuffs where in 2010 i can’t really do so anymore.
Am really grateful with the people around, friends and family and of course those readers who follow my life here in this blog. Thank You.
With that, i shall end this post with the best thing that happened to me in 2009, probably one of the best in my life as well!

Held just one week before Christmas day itself, it was one fun filled night at Subang all thanks to Kel Li who made it happen!!
Lotsa shocking moments with everyone laughing pretty frequently, the games where Nigel and Kel Li acted as game masters were quite entertaining and if you read on, i’ll you show you why is it so. LOL!

Christmas 2009 – WWJD
Dec 24th
Just came back, went online, opened a few MSN chat and 90% of the people were asking “Eh, why aren’t you out?” I LOL-ed and asked back the same question and there goes part of my Christmas Eve 2009.
Was out earlier for church caroling in this house at Jalan Ipoh. Just one house this time and with that i realize i wasn’t doing this whole caroling thing since years ago already. There were years that there wasn’t any caroling plans by church, if not then i had my own plans with some friends.
Had this warm feeling i once had then when i heard fellow church members singing to the Christmas tunes. No i didn’t participate in the singing, instead i was just like being a listener enjoying it. =)
So while everyone is busy partying out there, downing who knows how many glasses cheering and shouting with their friends, here am i typing this post out. =)
What is Christmas all about then?
If you’ve attended any Christmas service in any churches in the past and DID pay attention, i’m sure you’ve heard of this passage before.
John 3:16 ‘For God so loved the world that he gave his only Son, so that everyone who believes in him may not perish but may have eternal life.
For Christians, Christmas is one of the best day to spread the Gospel out talking about the Salvation to the people around.

As for me, personally, this year’s Christmas is more about reflecting my relationship with God then, of course, showing some love and blessing people around me is what Christmas means to me as well.
God have been generously good to me all these years and especially in this year itself, i’ve been blessed numerous times where some some of them are bigger than i could have imagine!!
That pretty much reminds me that in the past few years, i didn’t really get anything nice stuffs for the ones i love, and so i used some of the money i earned with the job i just started a few months ago and got some nice stuffs for them.
