The news broke out on Twitter yesterday evening (9 May 2013) where the official twitter account representing SHINHWA tweeted about the cancellation of the concert and the group will not be performing in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia on the 12th of May 2013.

Officials including Marctensia and Universal Music Malaysia have released a public statement just hours ago stating that the show is postponed until further notice. Kpop fans have made their voice heard through the complaints on Facebook where they were furious at the last minute announcement, quite a number of fans weren’t from Malaysia and they actually booked flight tickets + accommodation.

This is not the first time a Kpop event has been called of in Malaysia and I’m pretty sure there are tons of complications behind the scene between various parties. At the end of the day, it’s sad to see that the much anticipated Kpop show – 2013 Asia Super Showcase in Malaysia starring SHINHWA, Girls’ Generation/SNSD & AOA Ace Of Angels will not be happening.
