Anyone here remembers Taek Jho Low? The infamous Malaysian millionaire who partied with Hollywood celebrities including Paris Hilton? Apparently, he proposed to Elva Hsiao 蕭亞軒 more than 1 year ago.
Just today, Apple Daily picked up a video uploaded on Vimeo with the title – Surprise engagement proposal rumoured to cost over £1m. The video featured our fellow Malaysian 劉德祖 Low Taek Jho sharing an intimate dinner in private with Taiwan Mandopop Singer – Elva Hsiao 蕭亞軒 at Atlantis Hotel private beach at Dubai.
The video was uploaded on Vimeo more than 1 year ago but was only noticed recently with near to 3k views.
富商擲4700萬求婚影片曝光 ELVA驚喜全紀錄

近來網路瘋傳一段浪漫求婚影片，馬來西亞富商劉德祖在影片中置身杜拜知名的亞特蘭提斯飯店（Atlantis Hotel）私人沙灘，為女主角蕭亞軒（ELVA）獻上浪漫燭光晚餐求婚，過程中還請人現場奏樂、施放燦爛煙火，只為博得佳人點頭同意。影片一開始傳出悠揚的音樂聲，海邊以蠟燭搭出愛心圖案，富商緩緩將ELVA擁入懷中，還投影出「JHO LOVE ELVA」字樣。接著ELVA和劉德祖共進燭光晚餐，花瓣、燭光和現場演奏點綴氣氛，還有2名帥氣男搭飛行傘從天而降，跳傘送上珠寶，又驚又喜的ELVA捂臉不敢置信，富商則疼惜地摸摸她的頭，這時夜空綻放絢麗煙火，目不暇給，連ELVA都拿起手機拍下這難忘的畫面，並留下感動的淚水。
該段影片地點是在杜拜最奢華飯店之一亞特蘭提斯飯店沙灘，網傳求婚過程花費超過100萬英鎊（約4700萬元台幣）。
ELVA經紀公司昨低調表示，事情發生在1年半前，當時劉德祖對ELVA有好感，在杜拜大手筆送上驚喜，希望ELVA能和他交往，ELVA雖感動但仍婉拒對方心意。劉德祖否認求婚及示愛，表示僅只是浪漫晚餐。

When asked, a representative of Elva Hsiao replied that this actually happened more than a year ago where Low Taek Jho had feelings for Elva and he was trying to go after her at Dubai where it wasn’t a wedding proposal. Elva only treated him as a brother and rejected him since then.
Well looking at the scenes shown in the video, it’s really hard to interpret that Elva is treating Low Taek Jho as a brother. It seems like they were in a relationship already as well. Of course, if she denies it, we can’t say anything much as well, right?
Elva Hsiao 蕭亞軒 is currently dating with Kai Ko 柯震東, the star of the Taiwan hit movie – 那些年，我們一起追的女孩 You Are The Apple Of My Eye.
I wonder if one of the characters in Elva Hsiao’s short films 微電影 – 一百分的吻 to promote her album earlier this year was referring to Low Taek Jho. Hmm.
