Recently, a certain piece of art in relation with our beloved country’s national day has been widely shared on social media platforms with tons of negative remarks along with sarcasm in it.
I personally think that the government is doing a good job. Obviously they are saving cost because they have better things to do with the money, right? That pretty much explain the not-so-good overall look & feel/quality of the logo.

Well, anyway, tons of netizens have posted their own version of better logo and posted them up online. Too bad the government have not allocated much budget for that because at the end of they day, they care so much about your welfare and the money has to be spend at better places. Better places such as 1RubbishBin, 1Longkang, 1Moron & everything that starts with 1.

Oh but wait, our beloved Information, Communications and Culture Minister Datuk Seri Dr Rais Yatim has stepped out and explained that no official logo is being used for the 55th Merdeka Day celebration this year. So you guys, please stop mocking the officials, the logo is not official lah!
Anyway, if any of you know Rais personally, please inform him that this government website has been hacked. With clear explanation on the logo for Malaysia’s 55th National Day. Since it’s not an official logo, it shouldn’t appear on a government website, someone is obviously trying to be funny.

Last but not least, if you guys from the officials are reading this blog post – well if there’s any last minute budget for an OFFICIAL logo, please DO NOT refer to this youtube video above and instead below are some awesome reference!!!!
