Was delighted to get the chance to step into the JOHNNIE WALKER® Black Circuit Lounge at MAEPS in Serdang which happened just last month, on 21 March. The idea on partying on a Wednesday night was pretty crazy but at the end of the day, I had a good night myself!
On the day itself, I reached quite early. The complimentary valet service was a surprise for me. The crowd wasn’t there yet and I attended the press conference there where they brought on McLaren F1 driver Jenson Button to talk about his journey with F1. He also talked about the “Join The Pact” campaign by Johnnie Walker, calling fans to pledge to Never Drink and Drive

In the press conference, they showed this super cool video clip of Mika Häkkinen and Vodafone McLaren Mercedes driver Jenson Button putting on the world’s Most Powerful Signature behind the wheel of an all-powerful 450bhp machine. Check out the video below.
With Jenson Button, we were brought into the stylish and sophisticated Formula 1 lifestyle inside the Black Circuit Lounge.
Following Jenson Button into the main hall where the party happens, the emcees announced the arrival of Johnnie Walker Responsible Drinking Ambassador. He went up on stage & shared a bit on his experience as well as promoting the act of responsible drinking. Later on, 2 lucky fans had a chance to interact with their favourite F1 driver & they got his signature as well!
I on the other hand was starting to drink. LOL. The appearance of Jenson Button was short but the party went on and I was more than happy to bump into a few familiar faces that night. Johnnie Walker impressed me as they bring exciting experiences to the Black Circuit Lounge. The whole Johnnie Walker experience that night was an unforgettable one.

Some of the guests there got to experience the Drive Of A Lifetime virtual simulation.
Apart from partying hard & socializing around, I noticed that tons of people went up to this machine to take a picture. Loved the idea of it when I knew it a few years back and the people were quite exciting in getting their pictures taken there. Did I try it out? Lol. I won’t comment further on that!
Tom Jones the Global Brand Ambassador was there to take guests through an exclusive whisky mentor /tasting session and I was lucky enough to be there when he made it available for us to celebrate the richness of gold.
The rest of the night was crazy. All the DJs - Nadine Ann Thomas, DJ Dim Sum, DJ Agent Smith and DJ Politik were rocking the scene and the tunes were amazingly awesome. Tons of people were dancing to the beats and it was quite a sight watching a sea of people enjoying themselves. =D

There was even a GOLD CELEBRATION MOMENT where it began with a specially put together soundtrack during Smith Agent Smith’s set. Dancers clad in gold dresses were up on stage dancing to the tunes. Later on, the brand ambassadors went up on stage to present the Gold Label Reserve. Do you know that there was a Gold Label Reserve for every table there in the event? Yes, AWESOME is the word! =D
Had a good time, free flow of drinks totally ROCK my night & of course. Good company. =)
