Ever since i saw the 50 Most Popular Malaysian Pages compiled by GreyReview last year, i’ve always wondered who are the Malaysian individuals who has most fans on Facebook.
Have stumbled upon a few individuals Facebook Page with loads of fans in the past but they aren’t in any of the category – Politicians, Celebrities, Athletes & etc so it makes me think, are there more?
Anyways, i just completed the list of 100 Most Popular Malaysian on Facebook. Yes. 100!!
*and yes, i found a few more hidden gems – not a celebrity/politician & etc
Then you wonder, what’s the use of this list?
- For YOU to know who are the fellow Malaysians who are popular on Facebook.
- For YOU to discover more interesting personalities & follow their latest updates
- For Marketing/PR/Advertising Agencies/Companies to get a clear view on who are the most popular Malaysian on Facebook. Undeniable, social media has been quite an important part in our lives especially with Malaysians being the most active users on Facebook. So this list could be a reference on any potential collaboration/partnership where these Popular Personality can bring local/international brands to their own league of fans.
It won’t be a final list for sure and yeap, i will update this list from time to time. =)

I am not a malaysian but I am aware there is a malaysian chinese metaphysics practitioner named Joey Yap whose FB page has 288,839 fans. This could have place him around the 40th position in your ranking. Hope you can do take a look at it.
