Have been anticipating for this movie since the first trailer was out last year and i was THAT close on watching it RIGHT before my flight to Manchester last week as i had 2 premiere tickets for this movie. Of course, i didn’t then. Just watched this 2 nights ago.

The previous movie was one of my favorite Chinese movie back in my childhood days where i remembered watching it like when i’m in Standard 6. Loved the graphics and story back then especially when they fight the bad ass Hong Ba (雄霸)!

Back to this movie, it was alright when it just started. They explained on what happen. Then a fight happened and it was fast where everyone was no match for Godless 绝无神. He is like some super saiyan who is so terror in martial arts that he don’t even have to move wearing this super looking shield all over claiming he is invincible.

What happened next till the end of the movie was quite crappy then i thought. The storyline was like so poor until i think the Pang Brothers themselves won’t have any idea on what’s the main point in the movie, where’s the flow and what is actually happening.

Unlike the first movie which was out 11 years ago that have a great storyline, good character build up and a smooth narration on what’s going on, friendship, love, martial arts, the various characters and even some godly creature were clearly shown and portrayed in the previous movie.

Oh well of course, on the scenes on how they fought, specifically on a scene near the end of the story, i thought that it was awesome showing how they fought mentally and not physically, both Cloud 步惊云 and Wind 聂风 were still on the ground and with the CG effects, they were shown fighting there and then.

CG effects were pretty awesome through out the movie and there were a few new stuffs in how they display a martial arts scene, through the graphics of course. Apart from that, not much dialogues, storyline was poorly done and there goes the film which had me waiting for 11 years.

Wind and Cloud huh?
