review on Ninja Assassin
Thanks to Nuffnang and Robb, i just watched this movie a few hours ago at GSC Mid Valley. =D

Some serious bloody movie it is. With blood spilling here and there in almost every fighting scene and oh don’t get me wrong, i don’t mean that its not nice, in fact i find it very interesting and was concentrating through out the whole movie!

Okay that sounds wrong as well. As if i enjoy seeing people getting kill with blood everywhere.
So well this movie staring Rain really shows that Rain have been trying very hard to emerge as a movie superstar out of Asia. Though not his hardcore fan, the times i’ve seen Rain in act is during Full House and Speed Racer.
In Full House the Korean series, he was laughing and smiling most of the times and erm my focus was more on Song Hye Kyo where else in Speed Racer itself, Rain was overshadowed by every other thing.

Of course, this is base on what i think – i do think that he improved quite a lot. He’s no longer that Asia Superstar who is just good at singing and dancing. He can act as well.

Back to the movie, i think that the way on how they filmed it was brilliant. Adding to it was the graphics that weren’t too sophisticated i think, and its just nice for me. Certain parts that was needed to be emphasized, they did their wonders through graphic and the other scenes, its all back on how the cameraman shoot it.

In fact, its just a very simple movie, with a clear storyline. I just love the fighting scenes which are pretty bloody with Blades/Swords, Hira-Shuriken/Shuriken and etc with the bit of effects added on it where how the scenes were filmed.

Maybe there’s this kid in me that’s still very into Ninja and anything related with it which explains why i’m loving this movie. It’s a movie made for guys esp. those who once imagine being Ninjas before. Shhh. Oh and well, girls you could still watch it and drool all about Rain himself. Hehe.
Last but not least, i must repeat what i tweeted earlier and yes, this movie is like a combination of Matrix, Dota and Naruto. Lolx. In a way that is and that’s for you to head to cinema to find out why!!

One last thing, can anyone find out any information about this girl above who plays the role of Teenage Kiriko whose name is Anna Sawai. Teh Ais on me!! xD

My Rating for this movie is 8/10

SWEET! You got to watch Ninja Assassin! Can’t wait for it to be out in my part of town… I’m guessing Dec? Anyway, I don’t know much about Anna Sawai (teenage Kiriko) but the guy who plays teenage Rain is Lee Joon – a member of Rain’s boyband MBLAQ… pretty interesting don’t you say? *wink*

It took Jackie Chan ten full years to establish himself in Hollywood. Then again, Jackie is not a great actor. Hopefully Rain will not have to wait as long.

To clarify…Jackie Chan is a brilliant physical performer, but the other aspects of his acting are weak.
