Good things have been coming one by one from time to time in my life thus far, especially in this very year itself, i must say that i’ve been bless, in many ways by many people.

Never did i imagine all this coming my way and of course never did i think that i deserve all this. I mean like, there are many more people out there who should get the stuffs i’m having right now.

It was the same day i made my decision not to head to Singapore for Nuffnang awards that i received a call that led me to this very movement. Youth Engagement Summit 2009. Amazing stuffs always happened at the most unexpected time and this was one of the many amazing stuffs.

A movement to bring youths from the South East Asia region together, bringing various top people in the world and having a summit in Malaysia itself, with a main objective of encouraging the youths, sharing knowledge inspiring the youths and ultimately having the youths making a change in the region where we youths are future leaders in the world!

It is a positive project altogether, one that will really make an impact through different individuals in different states, countries in ASIA.

Looking at the whole thing on such a big scale involving so much parties, individuals with big names and such, i really felt under-qualified to be one of the limited 500 youths in the region to attend this conference.

Going through some of the official documents, only then i realize this whole movement includes a lot more than i could have imagine, its only the start and i have the privilege to be part of it and i am really really speechless. I really thank God for all this.

On the other hand, i’m really proud being a Malaysian where our country Malaysia is stepping up in many ways, many fields and getting more involved in the international scene.

I mean like, HEY PEOPLE AROUND THE WORLD ARE ACTUALLY HAVING THEIR EYES ON MALAYSIA!! Okay, lets jut put those stupid stories such as the ban of various concerts by western singers and all, don’t you deny that Malaysia is actually a center of many other stuffs and don’t forget, our country is just one small tiny bit on the map of the world, isn’t it amazing?

Seriously, if you’re a Malaysian youth, i think you should go HERE and make a pledge for this movement itself, everyone one of us is capable to make a change and do something for a better future for the people in the whole region itself.
