I have always been a milk lover. When I was growing up, one of the highlights at the breakfast table was watching the milk splash into the bowl of cereals and how it changes colour slowly, taking on the colour of the cereal served. I also thought it was cool how the milk would taste different after being ‘sloshed’ with the different cereals, some days it would be sweeter, some days it would taste more chocolaty and some days it would just taste like good old fashioned milk.

When I don’t finish the milk in my bowl, I always remember my mum and her ‘milk is good for your bones and teeth’ lecture (which comes after the ‘children in Africa got no food’ lecture). You know what they say la – mothers always know what’s best and now I look back, I definitely owe my dear mama for my *macho* size. I think she mentioned that milk can also help give me fairer skin but seriously, I’m a dude, a manly man, a macho male – why the heck do I wanna look like snow white for? It’s always been tall, DARK and handsome and not tall, FAIR and handsome right?
Anyways, getting right into this very interesting post today. I’ve just been told that Dutch Lady Malaysia is giving us all a chance to be in ‘famous’ for like 15 seconds!

Yeah, I know – I was also a little blur about what it really meant until I found out that a HUGE LED screen has been put up at the super busy Bukit Bintang area (to be exact, its opposite the very green Lot 10 and above the Maybank brand). I was there earlier this afternoon. So anyways, back to this HUGE screen – what does it do? It makes people famous! Woot! Yes – I’m not kidding you. If you look hard enough, there’s this canggih camera up there that snaps the pictures of ordinary people (like you and me la). Yup, just strike a pose and smile, the camera does everything else! REAL TIME! IMMEDIATE! FOC! Woohoooo – it doesn’t get any better than this!
Here’s how this HUGE screen looks like from across the road.

Please tolong check mata if you still can’t spot the HUGE LED screen? :p
So what happens after that canggih camera takes your picture? Those pictures are then uploaded HERE. You can join this page and tag the photos!

I know some of you are wondering why wanna pose in the middle of the city for right? Well, I wanna pose there because I wanna be able to say my handsome face has been on the BIG screen before. HAHAHAHA. Yes, I wanna be famous, even if it’s just for a few seconds. Seriously, some of you may have been on the cover of a magazine, some of you might have been featured in the local newspapers but this is the BIG time! Me, Joshua Ong on a LED screen in the most happening part of KL city! I can even pretend to accept a Grammy Awards already! Eh, a talent scout or some movie director might be just round the corner looking for the next ‘IT’ face – and suddenly sees my super smile on that very screen!

Woohoo! Joshua Ong on the BIG SCREEN!!! ROAR!
*First of all I want to thank my mom, my dad for giving me this opportunity…*
Ok… before I get carried away, there’s this really cute Dutch Lady backdrop placed right opposite the screen which anyone can use as part of their pose. As you can see, I had a great time there posing at the backdrop and showing off my picture perfect smile (and secretly hoping the camera is not so canggih until can highlight my pimples and scars la).

Check out my favourite baju! Scared nobody know me so got my name plastered across. Haha. Red Red ONG! I got a few stares from the tourists in the area, they were probably wondering if I am some celebrity la. Luckily didn’t cause traffic jam. :P

What do you think the caption for the photo should be? Haha. Feel free to use the words ‘handsome’, ‘charming’, ‘macho’, ‘gaya’, ‘model’. Go ahead la, I know some of you already have some interesting caption to kutuk me wan. Give it your best shot :P

Back to this HUGE screen and canggih camera, it will be there from 30th October to 12th November. You can bring your friends to pose with you if you are shy, but I am totally buzzing knowing that this afternoon at about 2pm, the entire Bukit Bintang could see me on the HUGE screen, the feeling is super weird and yet super syiok! I mean having everyone staring at your face on that screen – never thought I would get that change but its definitely good FUN! So why not grab just anyone of your poser friends and go to Bukit Bintang and POSE, POSE, POSE!

POSE LIKE A ROCKSTAR! Woot!
