It was just last Thursday that i headed to Sky Bar up high in Traders Hotel, just next to KLCC, Kuala Lumpur for some great live music performance with free flows of cocktails drinks served just for that specific night itself.

Thanks to Elaine and Suji, i find myself amongst the crowd of people there, all pretty and handsome, socializing around and i guess that was one of the rare nights where all guys over there could happily tell the girl this : “Could i get you a drink?” for multiple times!

3 World class bartenders were there to serve the public in preparing cocktails from time to time.  Chanond from Bangkok, Maya from Stockholm and Kelli from New York are the 3 big names in the industry with many years of experience.

With that we had quite a few glass of cocktails to ourselves, enjoying it sip by sip with the superb view from the top of Traders Hotel in KL City itself. We were laughing in our conversations talking about a few stuffs here and there.

Anyways, here are the drinks we had.

King’s Blend

Fine Jas Tea

Hurricane K

Sun Ripened Passion

Robusto Mojito

Alright, please do not scold me for not telling some of you about the free flows of cocktails available that night and such. The good news is, there’ll be a few more places where these people will be at and there’ll be free flow ofawesome cocktails that night as well!!

But before i tell you about it, let me just share a little bit about this programme.

Horeca School of Excellence.
A twice a year programme that is currently available only in Malaysia with an objective in promoting the excellence amongst F&B employees. International trainers are brought in for this programme to train some of the local workers in the F&B industry and thus there’ll be consumer engagement session called “Mini-Bar Nights” which provide trainees to feature their own cocktail concoctions putting in practise some the service skills acquired. To date, about 1000 service personnel from more than 40 F&B outlets have graduated from this programme.

Wow. So yea, that was WHY such Mini-Bar Nights exist with free flow of excellent cocktails to engage with the consumer/customers where it is all part of the programme itself.

For this term’s programme, the special concoctions are Sun Ripen Passion, Robusto Mojito, Kings Blend and etc as shown in the pictures above.

So here comes the good news that many of you out there might be interested in!

Here are the next few sessions of Mini-Bar Nights.
17th November 2009 at Aliyaa, Bukit Damansara, 8pm onwards.
18th November 2009 at The Social, Changkat Bukit Bintang, 8pm onwards.

and the largest one will be held on the 20th of November 2009 at Maison, Heritage Row, 10pm onwards.

It would be a great night for poor people like me who can’t really afford to go for cocktails every week, of course, i know many of you out there aren’t poor but anyways, do head over to the few locations mentioned on the different dates and enjoy the free flows of cocktails. Bring some friends over and have a great time altogether then!!

Of course, it will be in the NIGHT. Just in case some of you are drunk while reading this post.

I’m sure you’ll enjoy yourself in one of the Mini Bar Nights then. Do come back and tell me how is it like and share your experience if you can, would love to hear about it! =)

Cheers!
